Octave's packages from previous installation - installation

I just downloaded and built octave 4.0 from their website. There are a lot of packages already installed from the 3.6 version. I was wondering if is it possible to transfer that installation so that octave 4.0 would recognize them.
Thanks in advance.

Subclipse JavaHL zip source for manual installation

We are working to install updated versions of Eclipse and Subclipse on a few VMs in a data center. The firewall in place for this dc prevents us from downloading anything from the Eclipse download sites or marketplace. Instead, we download to computers outside of the data center, move the files, and install things manually.
The OS for these VMs is Windows Server, a mix of 2012, 2016, and 2019. The Eclipse IDE for Java 2021-12 can be installed without issue. It appears that we can also install the SVNKit (org.tmatesoft.svn_1.10.3.zip) and Subclipse 4.3.3 (subclipse-4.3.3.zip) successfully, provided that the SVNKit is installed first.
Subclipse does not provide an option to install JavaHL. We are struggling to locate a proper zip file that can be used to manually install the JavaHL part. The files from github return error messages in Eclipse that it cannot find a jar to install. Suggestions and advice on how this could be installed without access to the marketplace or update sites would be greatly appreciated.
Eclipse message for JavaHL zip file
Mark provided us a link within the github space he maintains to exactly what we were looking for. The javahl windows code needed was found here, nicely prepared in zip files by version - https://github.com/subclipse/updates/tree/main/javahl
We used 1.14.0, found here - https://github.com/subclipse/updates/blob/main/javahl/subclipse-javahl-1.14.0.zip
Thank you Mark!

Anaconda 4.3.0 with python 3.6 (64 bit) installer setup crash windows

I downloaded the setup from https://www.continuum.io/downloads, Anaconda 4.3.0 for windows, Python version 3.6 (64-bit). The download was successful but when I ran the installer, the setup wizard crashes. Windows pop up a dialog with the message saying, "Anaconda3 Installer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program", while the wizard is at "Extract: _system_path.py" step.
I have tried downloading the installer multiple times using different browsers and download managers, thinking that it might be a download issue, but I got the same result every time. Could there a problem with the windows installer from the download page? Please suggest any solutions for getting this installation done.
Downloaded again yesterday and it worked. Guess it was some issue with the installer downloaded last time I was trying

VS2010 and NuGet, why v2.8? How to get 3.5?

Beforehand: This is not a 'cut and clear' programming problem. It is a toolchain problem and I do not know other places to ask it. If this is not an apropriate place to ask, excusses and I will redraw my question.
I want to use NuGet on my VS2010-pro installation.
When I go to Tools -> Extention manager... tab [online galery] I get the option to download and install NuGet, but only for version 2.8.2 (2.8.60318.667) while the latest NuGet package is 3.5.0
I want to be 'up to date' so why settle for 2.8.3?
First I looked around for any reason why for VS2010 only 2.8.3 is available but could find no answers.
Then I installed 2.8.3 with the idea to look for updates/upgrades through NuGet and get to 3.5.0 but had no success. Can't find a way to upgrade!
I cannot find a good reason why I should settle for 2.8.3 and I cannot find a way to upgrade for the VS2010 tool version of NuGet.
But I can install the CLI version of 3.5.0 without any problems.
What is the reason that for VS2010 NuGet is limited to 2.8.0, is that the case anyway or do I mis something here?
If I install NuGet CLI 3.5.0 what problems will I get with VS2010 and the 2.8.3 version?
I looked around, read a lot about NuGet but can't find an answer to these questions.
Does anybody have an idea or who can point me to a location where I can find an answer?
Kind regards.
NuGet 2.8.3 is the latest version that supports VS2010. So you won't be able to use 3.5.0 from VS2010. Looks like 3.5.0 CLI is your best bet.

how to uninstall Flashbuilder manually.

I've flashbuilder 4.6 and I need to uninstall it. It appears to be missing the installation package, and as such it doesn't appear in the control panel->uninstall list for windows 7.
I have filed a case with adobe for help (as its a paid product), but after month & 1/2 no answer.
So any suggestions on how to get rid of it including any links it will have to the registry or similar. It must be a clean uninstall as to install the newer version the current one must be removed and the newer version installation knows that I have it (previous version) installed already.
I have tried the uninstall tool called Revo as well without success.
Cheers.
What I needed to do was to find the exact version of the software I used to install it originally. Then once I ran the installer, (for the already installed software) windows picked up the installation packager and I could uninstall it.
Once removed I could then install the newer version of the same software.

IE 8 install how to get version 8.0.6001.18702

I am having trouble installing the latest version of IE namely version 8.0.6001.18702. I downloaded the install from Microsoft but when the install is completed, the version number is reported as IE 8.0.6001.18702IC. This version does not work on all web applications and I need to get the correct final version installed. The problem is compounded by the installation downloading any updates from the Microsoft site so that there is no real control over the final version you get. Any ideas?
This is answered at MSDN forum please check it # http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/thread/ae1d9fcc-1c97-428f-afc0-13b1f6ad6c9b
