I am new to Web Service and Apache CXF. I have created a "Hello World" web service and now trying to consume with a Simple Java Client.
To simulate it with the real world example, I created 2 separate projects in Eclipse (one for Server and one for Client).
Now, I managed to generate my WSDL. But I am not getting that how can I request this Web service from client without importing the Server Stub? As, we don't have any API available at Client side except WSDL URL.
I gone through so many example in many websites. But they are importing the Endpoint Interface but how?
Am I missing something?

I have defined 2 methods in controller class . When I comment out the second method(displayHomePage), I can access the login page, but when I un-comment the second method none of the return(login.jsp or home.jsp) works. It gives HTTP 404 resource not found error. Below is my web.xml, dispatcher.xml and controller class.
Where am I going wrong? Also, if i remove "method=RequestMethod.GET" for both methods, I can access both pages without issues. It's confusing. Please help me out.

im using STS as IDE and the Spring mvc template included.
im not sure the bean its not being injected in the controller so when the form its submitted it redirects correctly, if i hardcode the thanks in the controller it works.

You need to add the following to your servlet-context.xml configuration file, you don't need to declare annotated beans in the XML file.

My suggestion would be to download Spring Stool Suite (STS) and create a new spring template project (selecting the MVC template), it will create a runnable project and that way you can see how everything is put together.
