This one is a little hard to explain without a picture:
As you can see the window is all messed up. I tried to re-install VS and un-install ReSharper but nothing worked. I'm using VS 2015 Community. This is a really frustrating bug to work with, has anyone else run into this?

Recently i have been experiencing a weird issue with Visual studio for mac.
While doing any development a small window appears out of no where on Visual studio and stays there. And i can't do any code writing until i kill the Visual studio. Or may be i don't know the solution to this problem. I tried searching the internet but could not find any solution to this. I have attached a screenshot of the window below.
If any one has encountered and resolved this issue please help. Because this has become irritating.
This is a known issue and has been fixed.
You can check this link: https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/t/Visual-Studio-for-Mac-freezes/1461790.
This issue is fixed with the Visual Studio 2022 for Mac Preview 1 release.
There is 1 other post similar to this one, but its answer is kind of unclear and doesn't apply to my situation.
So, this is a bit of a long story, but it will help you understand my situation better.
First off, I am working with unity. I used Visual Studio in the past before so I didn't have the unity mod, because I did not think I would be using much unity. But now I am, I skimmed through this one youtube video and I thought I had to reinstall Visual Studio. So I made the mistake of deleting a bunch of Visual Studio files from my C: drive and deleting my recycling bin. How stupid of me. I could have just went to the Visual Studio mods website and downloaded it from there. I'm sorry for my stupidity. Anyways, when I tried reinstalling, it brought up this error:
Before we get started
Installation folder: 'C:Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\Community' could not be found.
I tried reinstalling Visual Studio, but it just said the same thing.
Anyone have anything to help?
Try creating that folder and moving vs 2019 content into there
I apologize as this may seem as bit of a general question.
I have developed a couple of VB programs using Visual Studio 2010 Professional and others on Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate. While I have not done any work in about a month with either version of Visual Studio, I thought I would go in and start work on a new project.
After entering some code in Visual Studio 2010 using WinForms, I found I was unable to run the code in the debugger (pressed the start button and F5).
It acted like it would start, then it just stopped and returned back to my code.
I thought I would try it on another program that was completed and working a couple of months ago, but I had the same issue present itself. Attempting to use Visual Studio 2013 had the same effect.
Any ideas from anyone? Has anyone else experienced this same issue recently? Once again, I do apologize for the lack of examples here, but I'm not sure what I can include to show the problem.
IMO, you should try resetting visual studio settings (and a restart may solve the issue)
you can try following
do it via visual studio -> tools -> import export settings
or you can run this command devenv /resetuserdata
or checkout this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241273.aspx
Yet, has anyone tried whether ReSharper is working properly after installing SP1?
Wonder if I should install Service Pack 1 right away or rather wait for an update of ReSharper or any official statement from JetBrains. Since for me VisualStudio without ReSharper already feels like coding with Notepad. :)
I've just installed SP1 a few hours age and R# works just fine a far as I noticed.
Visual Studio is crashing for me now after installing SP1. Not really sure what's up with that. Looks like it has to do with Resharper from what I can tell.
Edit: Actually, looks like dotCover was having the issue.
I knew about RockScroll at this blog, I downloaded it to run on Visual Studio 2010, but it doesn't seem to work with VS 2010.
What might be the problem? Doesn't RockScroll v1 work with VS 2010?
If so, what would be an alternative?
If not, what might be wrong?
The Productivity Power Tools now include a scroll bar similar to RockScroll/MetalScroll as described by #shaunmartin in another question:
Alternatives are MetalScroll and AllMargins.
I haven't tried MetalScroll. I installed AllMargins, and it's neat, but I can't say its been very useful.
RockScroll doesn't work with VS2010. Last I checked, there were a couple of somewhat-similar-looking extensions on the VS Gallery, though I don't know if any work with VS2010 and the new editor. I know at MS a couple of VS folks are working on a new RockScroll-like VSIX in their free time, for possible inclusion in a future version of the Pro Power Tools, though I haven't heard anything about it in the last couple months.
