Display Access data with image paths in Word document - image

I would like to make a Word product catalog from data stored in an Access 2007 database. I can of course use the "mail merge" function in Word for the text data, but I dont know how to make the images show up! They are they stored as file paths in Access and jpg-files in a directory on the hard drive. The images should have a special size, be right aligned to the text paragraphs so that the text is wrapping on the left side (see attached image).

This is possible, but works better in older versions of Word. Unfortunately, you don't mention which version you're using...
Anyway, the key to the question is to use an IncludePicture field to bring the picture in; pass the file path to the field using the MergeField (nested fields). You can find more information on the internet, for example: http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/mergfaq1.htm#DBPic
The problem with an IncludePicture field is that it can't be wrapped. But if your version of Word is not too old, tables CAN wrap, so you put the IncludePicture field into a table that's a single cell. Position the table, wrap it, etc.

Nested content control and nested images in Power Automate

I would like to create a word document by adding images into nested content controls. So for example I want to create multiple paragraphs, which have different number of images.
When I want to populate the word template, microsoft PAA deletes the outer layer of the repeating content control for plain text, and the option to add images doesn't show up at all. PAA says there ist no option for putting images into repeating sections with the Word connector.
Does anyone know how to work around this?
I tried to populate the template with the word connector.
The Plumsail connector is not allowed by the company.
Adobe connector costs money and takes time to create since is a premium connector, so I would onhly use it if nothing else works.

Node wont save if text field contains word "having"

When I try to save edited node Drupal just reset field values and do nothing without any error message or log.
I entered text word by word and found that word "having" cause such behavior.
I'm using ckeditor to edit and filter text value and I guess that this module source of problem. As if I save text as plain text there are no issues.
Right now I don't know what to do next to track, dig deeper and isolate this issue...
PS. In ckeditor format settings I checked only two options:
Limit allowed HTML tags and correct faulty HTML
Convert line breaks into HTML (i.e. br and p)

Xcode: How to find something only in specific file type?

In Android Studio, I could search something in certain file type using the File mask as shown below. e.g. I could search on Kotlin (*.kt) files only
In Xcode, is it possible to do so as well? E.g. I would like to search only on the Swift file (*.swift). I don't see any filter as shown below, other than Ignore/Matching Case
Below the search field, there's an icon with three dots and a line above and below. In the default case, "In Workspace" is printed next to it.
Click this icon/text and a list of scopes is shown. Click the "+ New Scopeā€¦".
You can define complex rules for your scope, but in your case you would just need one: select File extension in the attribute field, is equal to in the condition field and swift in the value field.
You can give your scope a name and save it if you need it often.
But there is also a second solution: just do your search. At the very bottom of the search panel you see a circle icon with three lines, similar to the "ground" symbol used in electrics (IMHO); next to it is a text field with placeholder "Filter". Enter *.swift here to filter the search results for hits in Swift files.
An alternative way and arguably quicker way to do it is to just type the extension in the filter section below the list of matches.

CKEDITOR How to find and wrap text in span

I am writing a CKEDITOR plugin that needs to wrap certain pieces of text in a tag. From a webservice, I have an array of items that need to be wrapped. The array is just the plain text strings. Such as:
"[best buy", "horrible migraine", "eat cake"]
I need to find the instances of this text in the editor and wrap them in a span tag.
This is further complicated because the text may be marked up. So the HTML for "best buy" might be
"<strong>best</strong> buy"
but the text returned from the web service is stripped of any markup.
I started trying to use a CKEDITOR.htmlParser() object, and that seems like it is moderately successful. I am able to catch the parser.onText event and check if the text contains anything in my array.
But then I cannot modify that text. Modifications are not persisted back to the source html. So I think using the htmlParser() is a dead-end.
What is the best way to accomplish this task?
Oh, and as a bonus, I also do not want to lose my user's current cursor position when the changes are displayed.
Here is what I wound up doing and it seems to be working so far.
I created a text filter rule that searches through my array of items for any item that is contained (or partially contained) in the text. If so, it wraps the element in my span.
A drawback here is that I wind up with two spans for items with markup. But in my usecase, this is tolerable.
Then I set the results using:
editor.document.getBody().setHtml(results);
Because of this, I also have to strip this markup back out when this text gets read. I do this using an elements filter on editor.dataProcessor.htmlFilter.
This seems to be working well for my (so far limited) test cases.

What is the code for displaying picture in Visual Foxpro 6?
Does anyone know the codes for displaying a picture that is found within a Column in a table using Visual Foxpro 6?
My project was Library System, that includes the time in and time out of the librarians and students. And needs to upload a picture of students together of their information in the registration.
Example:
If a student enters the Library , he/she needs to swipe his/her ID to login or time in and his/her information will appear on the computer of the admin. Same process when he/she leaves the library . . . he/she needs to swipe his/her ID then logout / time out.
I think your question is vague and misleading based on other answer provided. What is SOUNDS like is that you have a database of teachers and students (much like a membership as a gym or similar). For each record in the database, you have an image file associated with that person. The image may be part of the actual table, or just a file name that is pointing to a specific directory on your drive share, where all the people images are available.
From that, these people have ID cards and when they enter a given facility (your Library for example), they run their ID card through a reader. At that time you are doing a search from your network database of users, find the user and pull up the image to the screen to show who the person is to help prevent fraud of someone using somebody else's ID card. This allows the person monitoring the entry area to make sure that Jim is not using "Bill's ID card to gain access.
If this is the case, and your VFP app is already running and ready to read from the card reader, you should only need to add an image file to your screen for presentation somewhere. Then, based on your finding the appropriate ID, get the record, analyze (if part of the record or just file name in a given images path), get the image file and set the property on the image control to point to the correct image. Then, do whatever logging update that states that Bill just entered the facility.

Jenna, I don't know how the original records were added to your table, and it sounds like you were handed this project. The column type within VFP is that of a "General" field. Somewhat like that of a memo field that can also hold binary data, the General data type is more for Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) content. It appears that when users were storing the values, they were adding as a linked or embedded content via something like
APPEND GENERAL YourPictureColumn from SomePath\SomeFileName.bmp
check the syntax under VFP 6 for "APPEND GENERAL". You can also state how via a LINK to the actual file vs EMBEDDING by having the actual image included so if the original source is removed, you still have it in the file.
As for the "picture frame" you see when you double-click this column, it is because VFP does not know how to properly interpret the image, such as as "MS.Paint" class object, or "Picture", or whatever. I've never really liked doing General fields, but would instead have a memo field with just the name of the full path/file name of the image I was keeping and had a separate folder to just stick all the image files. Then, when I needed to show that specific image, I would change the property of the image object on the VFP form to that location.
Now, if that is a route you might like to go with, I'm not exactly sure out to extract those image files, but can look into it more.
As for testing the concept of the image sampling, in VFP, make a new folder for a sample form.
Copy in the folder a few images to sample.
Create a simple table with 2 columns...
CREATE TABLE MyPicSample ;
( PersonName c(10),;
ImgSource m )
Add as many records as images you copied to the test folder. For each, put the file name of the images (full path) into the "ImgSource" memo field, and a sample description for the "PersonName".
Next, create a form, open the data environment and add the "MyPicSample" table just created.
Drag this table from the data environment to the form and it will create a grid on the form. Resize it some you only need a small amount of space to show the one column for PersonName. Close the data environment.
Add an "Image" control to the form. It should default the object name to "Image1"
Double-click on your grid to bring up its code snippet window and then double-click on the "AfterRowColChange" event... paste the following over it..
LPARAMETERS nColIndex
Thisform.Image1.Picture = MyPicSample.ImgSource
Save and run the form. As you scroll up/down the grid, you should see the image change to the respective BMP/JPG file.
I think this is the concept of what you want, but instead of a data table grid displayed, you will be doing this from a scanned card that gets a record, has an image and then present THAT image (now in a General data column type).
Again, not sure how you have your images via embedding or linked, but with this, we can probably get going closer to your end-result needed.
Depends on where you need to upload the image to.
If you are uploading via FTP, you should be able to use the following snippet in Foxpro. It's utilizing the Internet Transfer Control.
inet = CREATEOBJECT("inetctls.inet")
inet.Execute("ftp://ftp.microsoft.com", "CD DIRNAME")
inet.Execute("ftp://ftp.microsoft.com", "PUT LOCALFILE REMOTEFILE")
