Golang Revel freezes when download gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1 - go

I'm using CentOS7; tried downloading the golang 1.5.1 binary and also yum install golang, and run into the same problem installed revel. Go works fine; when I do go version it displays the proper version.
When I type go get -v github.com/revel/revel, a few packages download just fine.... until it gets to fsnotify. Then I get this output:
Fetching https://gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1?go-get=1
Parsing meta tags from https://gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1?go-get=1 (status code 200)
get "gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1": found meta tag main.metaImport{Prefix:"gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1", VCS:"git", RepoRoot:"https://gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1"} at https://gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1?go-get=1
gopkg.in/fsnotify.v1 (download)
And it just freezes. No matter what I try, it doesn't download anything into src/gopkg.in/fsnotify. Files in src/github.com and src/golang.org are pulled just fine. I already made sure I'm able to curl into http://gopkg.in and https://gopkg.in, so it doesn't look like an SSLv3 issue.
Any ideas?

Upgrade Git so that it is greater than 1.7.1 (latest CentOS base version). Try rpmforge first; if that doesn't work, compile from source: https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Getting-Started-Installing-Git#Installing-from-Source
I'm on Git 2.6.2 and it's working fine now: go get -v github.com/revel/revel (-v for verbose mode)

How to fix library dependence in a conan package

I am trying to install qt/5.14.2 with conan.
Using
qt/5.14.2#bincrafters/stable
I receive
ERROR: libpq/11.5: Error in package_info() method, line 211
self.cpp_info.components["pq"].requires.append("zlib::zlib")
AttributeError: 'Component' object has no attribute 'requires'
OK, there is a bug in libpq/11.5
I am trying to downgrade to
libpq/11.4#bincrafters/stable
ERROR: Conflict in qt/5.14.2#bincrafters/stable:
'qt/5.14.2#bincrafters/stable' requires 'zlib/1.2.11' while 'libpq/11.4#bincrafters/stable' requires 'zlib/1.2.11#conan/stable'.
To fix this conflict you need to override the package 'zlib' in your root package.
BTW:
Why is it not enough to require the correct version of the library, and requiring the same repository? (and require two different repositories in two different packages for the same dependence)
OK, I attempted
zlib/1.2.11#bincrafters/stable

Finally, I arrived at
libpq/11.4#bincrafters/stable
zlib/1.2.11#conan/stable
qt/5.14.2#bincrafters/stable
After this, it looks like it was oK:

However, the install fails with
CMake was unable to find Qt5, put qmake in your path or set
QTDIR/QT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE.
The package is downloaded, I see all components in the corresponding subdirectory in my home directory. However, unlike the other components, it is not installed, before CMake attempts to find it.
What do I wrong?
In case of any strange behavior of conan, upgrade! For me, switch 1.24.0 -> 1.28.1 with configs clean up fixed the same problem with libpq/11.5

Cannot install gotk3, getting GdkMonitor error

I tried to use gotk3 for creating desktop application. I follow the instruction in gotk3 wiki and this installing-on-linux wiki to install it. But then I get this error while executing go get -v:
gcc errors for preamble:
In file included from ../../gotk3/gotk3/gdk/gdk_since_3_22.go:23:0:
./gdk_since_3_22.go.h:22:8: error: unknown type name 'GdkMonitor'
static GdkMonitor *
^
I've tried to delete the gotk3 directory, and then trying to go get -v again, but still, it didn't work.
I also checked the GTK version that installed in my Ubuntu 16.04 using apt-cache policy libgtk2.0-0 libgtk-3-0 | grep Installed. And it shows this:
Installed: 2.24.30-1ubuntu1.16.04.2
Installed: 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.3
What did I do wrong? Thanks
GdkMonitor was introduced in GTK+ 3.22. Your version is 3.18.
go get -tags gtk_3_18 github.com/gotk3/gotk3/gtk at the very beginning of building (see here NOTE section) should fix things

I already tried upgrading to Python 3 from Python 2.7 as well as upgraded my OpenSSL as per suggestion of some posts here. How can I fix this?
I ran into the same problem. I tried updating openssl on MacOS and using a newer version of python, but it still didn't work.
A hacky work around that worked for me is to download the failing file manually into the zips folder.
For example
cd zips
wget https://github.com/kripken/emscripten/archive/1.38.0.tar.gz
Then try to install again and it should work.

cannot execute binary file of golang bootstrap installer

I'm using the instructions in this blog post, which is intended for installing go 1.5 on the Raspberry Pi, to install golang on my Chromebook (which has ChrUbuntu not Chromium installed). The technique recommended in the blog post is to install a Golang 1.4 bootstrap compiler available here and then use that to build golang 1.5 (as you need a version of go installed to build 1.5). I tried this on the Raspberry pi and it worked, but when I ran this command from /go/src on ChrUbuntu
env GO_TEST_TIMEOUT_SCALE=10 GOROOT_BOOTSTRAP=$HOME/go-linux-arm-bootstrap ./all.bash
It gave me this output
env GO_TEST_TIMEOUT_SCALE=10 GOROOT_BOOTSTRAP=$HOME/go-linux-arm-bootstrap ./all.bash
# Building C bootstrap tool.
cmd/dist
./make.bash: line 121: /home/user/go-linux-arm/bootstrap/bin/go cannot execute binary file
Why am I getting this error message (is it because it's not compatible with ChrUbuntu) and how to do what I am trying to do. Thank you in advance.

Error -60005 when install Cocos2d-iPhone v3 RC4

When I try to install Cocos2d-iphone 3.0.0 RC4, I got an error: (run without sudo)
Error -60005 occurred while executing script with privileges.
So, I try to show its package content and use terminal to do: cd ...Cocos2D Installer 3.0.0.app/Contents/MacOS
I try this command: (with sudo)
sudo ./Cocos2D\ Installer\ 3.0.0
It works but I got log with some errors:

Are there any way is better than this way?
I have same problem.
I think you installed old cocos2d-iphone and it caused this problem.
You should remove old cocos2d-iphone first. I removed:
~/Library/Developer/Xcode/cocos2d v3.x
And install again. It works for me.
Hope it works for you :)
