I have a laptop with a legal, OEM, version of Win 10 Pro. I'm trying to figure out if I have to purchase another Win 10 Pro license if I create a VM with Win 10 Pro on that machine. Will it recognize the license in the base OS and allow me to operate the VM version under that license?
This VM is for software testing purposes and would not be shared.
Thanks!
The VM is not going to recognize the License of you're host computer.
But you can use the unlicensed version of Windows 10 for testing.
The Goal of VMs is that they are completely different machines.

I've recently reinstalled my laptop. I have a ,main machine which has all the programs install files on. Before i reinstalled the laptop i was able to access the shares on the machine fine, after the reinstall it keeps telling me that i don't have permission. Previously it would ask for the pcs username/password but its not doing that. Other machines are still able to access the shares fine, and i can remote desktop it from the laptop but not connect to the shares. The pc shows up under networks. The PC is running winows 7 and the laptop windows 10. I can access the laptop fine from the pc but not the other way around.
I get "You do not have permission to access \PC"
Turns out it was something to do with a windows update. Once windows had updated on the laptop it connected fine

I just setup remote desktop to my Windows server 2012 R2. Thi works great from LAN. How can I setup remote desktop from outside of the LAN. I have tried NAT like this:
192.168.1.200 = windows server's IP
192.168.1.200:80 -->> my_public_IP:10200
when I want connect to it like this, it doesn't work. Maybe other local port..?
Windows vista onwards provides secure RDP connectivity over IPv6 without port forwarding configuration on NAT. This feature is called WICN & it gives a unique name to your computer using which you can directly RDP to the machine. Please check the below link to enable & use it:

I have a server with KVM. Running Centos 5.
Can you show me install VPS Windows on this Server ?
Thanks.
I don't think Windows VPS can run on Cent OS.
However, we're successful running CENT OS on Hyper-V Virtualized VPS.
