Jenkins throws org.apache.xmlbeans.XmlException: error: Unexpected element: CDATA - maven

I am running automated tests using SOAPUI. My tests run safe when running in SOAPUI but one test fails when running in Jenkins as maven project.

I am trying to load a stored variable from project custom properties.
`context.expand( '${#TestCase#ControllerIds#$[1]}' )`
Could some one tell me a fix for this.

I fixed the problem . actually not fixed but handled it in a different way.
def vUControllerIds = []
vUControllerIds = context.expand( '${#TestCase#VUControllerIds}' )
def vUControllerId = new GroovyShell().evaluate(vUControllerIds)

I had the same problem, fixed by switching to soap ui pro maven plugin version 5.1.0 where that bug has been fixed. You will also need to add extra dependency in order to avoid class not found error:
<plugin>
<groupId>com.smartbear.soapui</groupId>
<artifactId>soapui-pro-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>5.1.0</version>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.oracle</groupId>
<artifactId>ojdbc6</artifactId>
<version>10.2.0.1.0</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.reflections</groupId>
<artifactId>reflections-maven</artifactId>
<version>0.9.9-RC2</version>
</dependency>
.......
<plugin>

jdiameter-ha-* ClassNotFoundException

I'm attempting introduce high availability mode (via JBoss Cache) in my server implementation (essentially an expanded version of the example server) by configuring my Maven project to use jdiameter-ha-api and jdiameter-ha-impl dependencies instead of jdiameter-api and jdiameter-impl, in addition to adding the following extensions to jdiameter-config.xml:
<Extensions>
<SessionDatasource value="org.mobicents.diameter.impl.ha.data.ReplicatedSessionDatasource"/>
<TimerFacility value="org.mobicents.diameter.impl.ha.timer.ReplicatedTimerFacilityImpl"/>
</Extensions>
Now, when I run the server from Eclipse, it works fine, i.e. it start up in clustered mode (w/ JBoss Cache), however, when I attempt to run the jar produced by mvn install, it throws the following error:

Given that it starts up in Eclipse just fine, I'm assuming my POM file isn't managing dependencies properly, so that the final jar is missing these classes. Here's the relevant portion of my pom.xml:

Following is my pom entries:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.elasticsearch.client</groupId>
<artifactId>transport</artifactId>
<version>6.2.4</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>log4j</groupId>
<artifactId>log4j</artifactId>
<version>1.2.17</version>
</dependency>
I have tried using the log4j-core and log4j-api pom entries also, but still getting the same error. I also saw the dependency tree and found two conflicting versions of commons-logging:commons-logging:jar , but I don't know how to solve this.
Can anyone tell me what is the issue and how to solve this.
Please try with this dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.slf4j</groupId>
<artifactId>log4j-over-slf4j</artifactId>
<version>1.7.25</version>
</dependency>
Often, you can resolve such exceptions by searching for the full class name on search.maven.org.

com.twelvemonkeys.servlet.image.IIOProviderContextListener

I am using maven to build project which deploys on the tomcat server. The build process completed successfully but when i am trying to deploy the project on tomcat 7 its throwing error.
I can see the twelemonkey-servlet.jar is present in the lib folder in WEB-INF.

</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.twelvemonkeys</groupId>
<artifactId>twelvemonkeys-servlet</artifactId>

</dependency>
The build is successful but while deployment i am getting following exception

please suggest solution if someone faced this problem before.
Late answer, but I had the same problem today. I noticed the artifactId for the twelvemonkeys servlet has changed since version 3. Using the dependency below, it works for me.
<dependency>
<groupId>com.twelvemonkeys.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>servlet</artifactId>
<version>3.1.2</version>
</dependency>

add to maven a dependency packaged as mar

I have a project which uses several dependencies from the axis2 project. one of them if the mex (metada exchange).
the last version of mex is packaged as a mar file. If I try to add this dependency to my project maven will fail:

I tried to add the mar plugin, but it didnt help
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.axis2</groupId>
<artifactId>axis2-mar-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<extensions>true</extensions>
<configuration>
<includeDependencies>false</includeDependencies>
</configuration>
</plugin>
It looks like you didn't read the error message correct cause it says:
Parse error reading POM. Reason: Unrecognised tag: 'packaging' (position: START_TAG seen ...</version>\n\t\t\t<packaging>... #229:15) for project unknown at /project/pom.xml
This means you have to use:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.axis2</groupId>
<artifactId>mex</artifactId>
<version>1.6.1</version>
<type>mar</type>
</dependency>
instead.
Update: The problem is that those mar artifacts are packaged as jar's. So you have to go the following way:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.axis2</groupId>
<artifactId>mex</artifactId>
<version>1.6.1</version>
</dependency>

merging two war files with overlays

I have to merge two war files. I use eclipse indigo and maven 2. So I put one war as a dependency in the others pom.xml and added the overlay option as well:
...
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.2</version>
<configuration>
<overlays>
<overlay>
<groupId>org.mydomain</groupId>
<artifactId>myproject</artifactId>
</overlay>
</overlays>
...
I use this to add all dependencies as jar's to my lib folder:
...
</configuration>
</plugin>
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-jar-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.4</version>
<configuration>
<outputDirectory>${project.build.directory}/webapp/WEB-INF/lib</outputDirectory>
</configuration>
</plugin>
...
So if I perform maven install a proper war file is build with everything in it. The problem is when I deploy this on the glassfish server (3.1) there are no classes deployed (I looked in the eclipseApps folder in my glassfish folder). The jar's are there, the folders are there but empty. So it does not work on the server.
Anyone an idea?
Update:
As proposed in the comments I put the war file in the autodeploy folder and got the following errors:
