I've installed the Apache Flex SDK Installer from https://flex.apache.org/installer.html as you can see from the following image. When I double click it, it does absolutely nothing.

You will then probably been blocked from installing software from an unidentified developer. Go to Systems Preferences > Security & Privacy and click the "Open Anyway" button. You might be asked for your password. Then you might get an error that reads "Unable to load http://flex.apache.org/installer/sdk-installer-config-4.0.xml". Close the installer, then start again. Hopefully the installation will work second time around, it did for me.
Three dropdowns are presented, to select: Flex version; AIR version; and Flash Player version. Ensure these are set to the latest versions (which aren't betas). For me that was: Flex SDk 4.16.0; AIR 26; and Flash Player 26. If you do not do this, when you try to add the SDK to Flash Builder later (via Flash Builder > Preferences > Flash Builder > Installed Flex SDKS > Add...) you will find yourself plagued by the error discussed in this forum thread: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLEX-35289
You will be asked to choose a directory for the installation, one which: 1. is acceptable (although no definition of acceptability is outlined); and 2. is empty. I made a new directory entitled "4.16.0" in /Applications/Adobe\ Flash\ Builder\ 4.7/sdks which the installer was happy with.
After which there were no further problems. Not with the installation anyway. Flash Builder itself failed to open after this. That is a new problem which I asked about, and which was successfully answered here: Flash Builder 4.7 does not open after installing Apache Flex SDK 4.16.0
After updating from titanium (sdk 3.2.3.GA) to appcelerator (SDK 5.1.2.GA) the images on all local webviews have went missing from the app. The CSS that loads the image is:
background-image:url(imgs/images.png)
This error appears in my terminal when accessing the webview:

Again, this was working fine on older versions.
Any advice on what to check to get local images showing in webviews again?
It seems like you've found a regression. Please check if this is a known issue at the Appcelerator JIRA. If it's not, create a ticket, link to this question but also provide reproducible code, steps and environment information in the ticket itself. Don't forget to drop a link to the ticket here so that others can watch it with you.
When ever i click a button to re-draw my level state i am getting following error this.__tilePattern=c.createPattern(this.tilingTexture.baseTexture.source,"repeat"), how to resolve this ? , is it related to canvas rendering or tilesprite rendering?
This is strange to say but now my problem is vanished completely when i used older version of phaser 2.2.2 rather than new updated version 2.3.0, it would be great if photonstorm can explain what caused this error when new version is used.
Why am i getting "failed to flash file gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip genymotion" this error when i am trying to install Google apps on Genymotion simulator.
I just drag n dropped >>gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip<< and gave this error.
Please let me know if anyone else has faced the same issue and the fix.

Note: For Android 6.0 ,you need to flash first .zip i.e(gapps-L-4-21-15.zip)and reboot .Then you need to sign-in to your google account and then flash second .zip (benzo-gapps-M-20151011-signed-chroma-r3.zip.) and reboot again.

Download and install GAPPS APK from the official website.
Grant root permissions to the app and click next
This app will automatically detect CPU Architecture and Android version. please note it down
Then go to OPEN GAPPS WEBSITE
And then select desired Platform , Android version and Variant and click download button.
After downloading Gapps.zip file. Now Drag and Drop GApps.zip , Genymotion-ARM-Translation one by one then restart Genymotion.
Completely remove your Virtualbox and Genymotion. There are old registry files hidden in your computer which are preventing you from flashing Gapp properly.
Here are few links teaching you how to uninstall Genymotion and Virtualbox:

Don't download their software because it doesn't remove everything

And finally there should be a Genymobile folder in your
User -> (Username) -> AppData -> Local folder

This issues is faced while you put this file in something wrong version of genymotion devices.
here you can get proper guide line for installing the gapps files in genymotion device,
it will be a different for all the version.so might be your file would not suitable for your version, so please follow the guideline
That'll happen when you're trying to install flashable gapps meant for a different api version. Make sure the device you're emulating in genymotion is the version the gapps is meant for.

You have to download the beta version once again as downloading was stopped in between due to some issue and you might have started it again. i also faced the same issue. re downloading helped.
I had the same issue when trying to install Xcode 6 Mac told me that the image was not recognized. After downloading it again everything went fine.
