I just drag n dropped >>gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip<< and gave this error.
Please let me know if anyone else has faced the same issue and the fix.

I also faced same issue I sort it by downloading the correct GApps meant for particular android version. Here is the list:

Download and install GAPPS APK from the official website.
Grant root permissions to the app and click next
This app will automatically detect CPU Architecture and Android version. please note it down
Then go to OPEN GAPPS WEBSITE
And then select desired Platform , Android version and Variant and click download button.
After downloading Gapps.zip file. Now Drag and Drop GApps.zip , Genymotion-ARM-Translation one by one then restart Genymotion.

Completely remove your Virtualbox and Genymotion. There are old registry files hidden in your computer which are preventing you from flashing Gapp properly.
Here are few links teaching you how to uninstall Genymotion and Virtualbox:

Don't download their software because it doesn't remove everything

And finally there should be a Genymobile folder in your
User -> (Username) -> AppData -> Local folder
Hope that helped

This issues is faced while you put this file in something wrong version of genymotion devices.
here you can get proper guide line for installing the gapps files in genymotion device,
it will be a different for all the version.so might be your file would not suitable for your version, so please follow the guideline

That'll happen when you're trying to install flashable gapps meant for a different api version. Make sure the device you're emulating in genymotion is the version the gapps is meant for.

Beta app is shown in the browser but not in Google Play?

I've published a beta of my app in Google Play.
I can see it with my smartphone and I can install it with a different account from the developer account (just to be sure).
Now I try the same with an 'old' tablet (Android 7.0, Google Play 6.1.12) and if I click on the link to the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.infinitymundi.anima
it tells me 'element not found':
if I try to cut and paste the link in the browser it shows the app:
It even shows the Install button, but if I click it gives me 'element not found' again.
My app is built with Unity and it's compatible with Android 6.0+ (I deployed the same app in this tablet with Unity and it worked).
Any suggestion?
Thanks!
I've found out that you need to download an unofficial google play services update from here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/ and it worked.
Maybe this is strictly related to my tablet model (a Xiaomi).
It will be useful for others, I think.

WatchKit Error with "no symbols for paired Apple watch" watchOS 3.1

im trying do develop my app on my watchos3.1 and i getting every time this error.
no symbols for paired Apple watch
Xcode doesn't download the latest symbols for my watchOS 3.1. In my folde
Library->Developer->Xcode->watchOS DeviceSupport->
i only find a file with "watch1,2 3.0"
how can i download the file with 3.1 ?
Just ran into this issue with Xcode 9 and watchOS 4. It turned out that I was not logged in anymore to my Apple ID in Xcode. Go to Xcode > Preferences > Accounts and log into your account. Then disconnect and reconnect the iPhone with the paired watch and Xcode should now be able to download the symbol files.
In my case this happened because there was a new license agreement pending in my account. After I had accepted the new agreement, Xcode was able to download necessary symbols
I had a similar problem and ended up deleting the app from my phone and watch, closing Xcode, and trying to install it again. After a few attempts this ended up working. I would also double check that you're running the latest version of XCode. Hope you get it resolved!
I managed to get my watch app working by installing the app to my phone first (without the watch component), and then installing the watchOS app directly from my phone's Watch app.
This is a bit of a work-around, but I too could not find the 3.1 file anywhere.

Testing apps on a Firefox OS Phone Device

I have the Keon from geeksphone. The Mozilla developer site talks about using the emulator, but nothing about installing an application onto a physical device. It is a developer phone, so I assume there's a way to develop with it? I can host the app and test it in the phone's browser, but I'd prefer trying to package it up and actually install it onto the device.
Found it. Now I need to figure out how to install an XPI file...

XPI files are add-ons, which FirefoxOS does not support at the moment.
You want to install FirefoxOS Simulator addon file which is in .xpi format? If yes then just drag and drop the file onto Firefox Browser, it will get installed.

The xcode iOS Simulator is prompting me to "choose the folder containing the iOS Simulator SDK" on open. How do I find it?

I just installed xcode for the first time and I opened the iOS simulator. When I do it is requiring me to first "Please choose the folder containing the iOS Simulator SDK" and I have no idea how to located this. Does anyone know where it is? All I went to do is start testing some mobile websites.
If you installed the latest Xcode from the app store it should have installed the sdk and set it up for you. You could try reinstalling if this is how you got it, but check my next comment first...
If you installed Xcode some other way, it may not have come with an sdk. You can check in preferences>Downloads to see if you can download it there (I don't remember if you can) or try the website: https://developer.apple.com/technologies/ios5/
I followed the advice to look in Preferences | Downloads and the installer was there. It looks like an updated Xcode doesn't include device simulators by default.

How do I access my iPhone 4's UDID?

I have just bought an iPhone 4 for development.
Unfortunately, I forgot to register my phone to my development account before I tried installing the iOS 4.3 beta 2 software.
Now I can't restore my iPhone because I haven't got my UDID in my developer account, and I cannot get the UDID in iTunes because my phone is stuck in recovery mode.
Does anyone know how to restore my phone, or how to get the UDID into the developer account so it can be restored?
Thank you
Try this online service — http://get.udid.io
You should open the site on your mobile, tap the button and follow instructions, I've been described in my blog. It's easy as taping "Next" every time. Hope it helps.
You should be able to just click "Restore" in recovery mode in iTunes and it'll restore the current 4.2.1 firmware.
Perhaps you need to put it in DFU mode first.
Can't you downgrade the firmware by downloading the older version from the internet and hold shift and click restore and select the firmware file?
