After selecting Run As-> Xcode Project in MobileFirst Studio, trying to run the project in Xcode yields this error:
Image of the error
The framework is there and the .h is inside framework/Headers, as you can see in the image.
Using: Xcode7.2, MobileFirst7.1
In Xcode:
Build Settings (for target)->Search Paths->Framework Search Paths[Double Click]
In the drop-down next to $(PROJECT_DIR), select Recursive. Then try building again. It fixed my issue.

I am trying to run the initial example apps generated by the Kotlin Multi Platform Mobile plugin in Android Studio. I followed these steps for my environment setup. The Android Simulator runs correctly, but the iPhone Simulator does not. The Run Configuration has the following error:
Error: Selected scheme "iosApp" does not support "iphonesimulator"
When I run the configuration (ignoring the error), the iPhone simulator does open and appears to load iOS, but it never loads the "Hello, iOS" application that is in Android Studio.
What would cause this?
Version Information:
macOS 12.2.1
Android Studio 2021.1.1 Patch 2
Xcode 13.3
I fixed it with the following method.
Please close the Android Studio.
Go to ~/Library/LaunchAgents/ folder and delete com.jetbrains.AppCode.BridgeService.plist there.
Launch Android Studio with the KMM plugin again. It should work now.
From my tests, it seems that there may be multiple reasons for which we receive this error:
the root folder of the ios project has a different name than the .xcodeproject file. Sometimes it works even if they are different and maybe it matters if we change this name after the frameworks was already connected to the iOS project.
"Other linker flags" were manually copied and they were not copied using the copy button from the Connect the framework to your iOS project. This results to wrong data like:
"$(inherited)",
"-framework",
"shared\n",
instead of
"$(inherited)",
"-framework",
shared,
I managed to fix this by going into Edit Configurations on Android Studio and choosing the location of my XCode project file again. I believe this is an error of the KMM plugin in Android Studio and has yet to be fixed.
Updating Android Studio and KMM plugin worked for me.
I have a solution with,
Xamarin.iOS project
NetStandard 2.0 project
The tools I use are,
Visual Studio for Windows 2019 (v 16.3.2)
Xamarin.iOS SDK (13.2.0.42)
I can successfully build the application. But it gives this error on launching for both the Device and the Simulator,
error MT1001: Could not find an application at the specified directory: /Users/myUser/Library/Caches/Xamarin/mtbs/builds/MyApp.iOS//bin/iPhoneSimulator/Debug/MyApp.app
When I checked the Xamarin.logs for more info, I see this,
Xamarin.Messaging.Ssh.SshCommandRunner|Warning|0|Failed to execute 'which mono64': ExitStatus = 1
How can I fix this?
You have to specify the Platform Target in a way to allow a x64 build.
Right click on the Xamarin.iOS project and selection Properties. In the Properties Window, under Build tab, select either Any CPU or x64 for the appropriate Configuration and Platform.
That's all 😊 Try to redeploy.
Since, I upgraded to xCode 9 on my Mac I get the following error when compiling:
Error ibtool exited with code 1
Error Compiling IB documents for earlier than iOS 7 is no longer supported.
As suggested here I don't have a project setting in visual studio (on windows) with an option "Build for: iOS 10 and later".
Also, I'm working on a Xamarin.Forms project, so I don't have any storyboards. How can I solve this issue?
[EDIT] I'm working with the Visual Studio IDE on Windows. I use the mac only for building the iOS Apps.
The problem is that your deployment target in info.plist is set to 6.0. Set it to at least 7.0 and you will be fine.
I am going to assume that you have an older LaunchScreen.storyboard within your Xamarin.iOS application project.
I do not know how to edit those setting within the VS4M Storyboard editor, so right click on the LaunchScreen.storyboard and open it with the Xcode Interface Builder.
In the right-hand column, the File Inspector should be the default view, change it as shown in the SO answer that you linked:
https://stackoverflow.com/a/44430034/4984832
Do a File / Save, exit Xcode, and do a clean and re-build your solution. I had to do this with a couple of old Xamarin.Forms solutions.
I met the same issue.
You just go to storyboard, Interface Builder Document -> choose a version build for.
That fix my issue.
Goodluck!

I'm in the process of preparing my app for submission to the store and trying to generate a build.
The first step to generate a build is to clean and build an archive.
I recently upgraded my Xcode version to 9.0 Beta.
The Archive menu item is greyed out.
I have tried selecting Build for Running, Build for Profiling and Build for Testing but all none of these makes the archive menu item enabled (see image here).
Select the device "Generic iOS Device" and try again.
So I'm getting problems when trying to make in iPhone app in Xcode (version 3.1.4)... I'm trying to use the ExternalAccessory Framework but it didn't exist in my System/Library ... /Frameworks directory. Is there any way to get it or a place to download it? I tried to upgrade to Xcode 4 but I was unsure of how to transfer my old projects to there and after much frustration ended up just staying with the only version, perhaps I should try again?
Having run into the same problem with XCode 4.3.3 I bit the bullet and installed XCode 4.5. Fortunately my project wasn't broken by the upgrade (as has been the case in the past) and the ExternalAccessory library is now available.
In the project navigator, select your project
Select your target
Select the 'Build Phases' tab
Open 'Link Binaries With Libraries' expander
Click the '+' button
Select your framework
