After uninstalling expired UFT from my pc, would i able to reinstall it with new registration? - functional-testing

I have installed trial[30 days]version of HP UFT 12.51. I have only 2 days in hand. After 2 days UFT will expire automatically and ask for license when I open it.
I have gone through some links and got only one solution : i.e format 'c' drive and reinstall UFT again with older setup.[Formatting c drive is not possible in my case].
My question is that :-
After uninstalling expired UFT, If i register again with new Id on hp site and download and install UFT again for 30 days, will it ask for license again after installing with new setup ?

If you have used up the free trial demo of UFT then uninstalling and re-installing will not give you another 30 days. In addition to the option you listed of formatting the C: drive there is one more option...
Pay for UFT.

Debian: Microsoft team restart/crush while screen sharing

I installed latest Microsoft team in debian 10 buster. I tried to share my desktop with my group but Microsoft team restarts automatically every time. I tried instructions provided here e.g reinstalling, logout, clear cash etc. But, It doesn't help. What next should I try?
Initially, you will see a black screen while desktop/screen sharing. Anyway, lets try out this. Login as a root user then go to etc/gdm3 and find daemon.conf file. Open it and find the following line.
#WaylandEnable=false
Uncomment/remove the hash before WaylandEnable
WaylandEnable=false
Finally, reboot your system.

System Registry Error VB6 running as User Windows 10

I just recently upgraded to Windows 10 and ever since I have upgraded I can't get into VB6. I keep getting the System Registry error. I have googled and tried about everything and nothing seems to work. Running VB6 as Administrator is not an option, don't ask but we can't have admin to our computers we have to be logged in as users. The way we use to fix it was to trick Windows 7 log on as Admin run VB6 as Admin then switch me back to user and it worked, but this no longer works. Does anyone have any suggestions that currently have VB6 working as a user and not admin? I really don't want to resort to have to run it out of my virtual machine :( Thanks in advance!
Amanda,
I know it is 3 years later and I wonder what you did. and my solution may be late.
I moved VB6 Enterprise to a Windows10 machine, I did not upgrade the machine to Win10 with the IDE. However to make it work for some of my clients with Win10 machines I:
Back up all the VB6 files, folder and directories.
Using control panel in Win10, uninstall VB6 app. That's right, uninstall!
Using the original install disk, running it as an Administrator, install the program.
If the program has been updated to a later version, you need to get a copy of the latest version and copy over the one that was installed.
Or, Sweet Talk your IT guy into making you a new install disk with the latest version you are supposed to be running.
Go to the folder where the exe file is installed, Right Click on it and open the Properties, and go to the Compatibility tab.
Choose run as an administrator, and also click the Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack3, or if it shows Latest version of Windows XP try that. You may need to check with your IT department.
Warning: if the VB6 program uses any non-Microsoft tools you may need to register them by hand.
I suspect this has already been worked out for you, but I put it here for anyone that may stumble across it, needing it.

WINDOWS 10: Installing Win10 with MediaCreationToolx64 and keeping files

So I was one of the unlucky who didn't get the reservation on my PC despite meeting all the requriments.
Now I would like to update to win 10 using the MediaCreationTool by Microsoft.
My concert tho is, would updating the system this way be the same as with the reservation?
Meaning will I get to keep my files, and have the option to go back within 30 days?
I'm running win7 Home Premium x64 SP1
Will be glad for any answer
I've done it and I kept all my files and apps.
I also have Windows Rollback (The option to go back that u mentioned)
I was running win8.1 x64
The best option for me. Open the computer, remove the system Hard drive, and get an empty one installed in the PC or laptop, and then install the new Op System you want to try, do the drivers, updates, put some of your software, and test it for a while. If you don't like it, just change the H Disk for the old one.

Problems installing optisystem

I try to install optisystem 7 or 10 on my computer after the 7 days evaluation finished, so i made windows formatting and install new windows although the program can't be run and each time says that the license is not available ,can any one help me to solve that problem
It is possible that your PC has been registered in their database as having been used to run a trial version before, and hence no further trial period is granted for that particular PC. You may also have been sent a trial code to your email address, so that you can not active a new trial using the same email address. I guess you can try to install the product on a different machine or get a new trial code sent to a different email address.
In essence the software is probably working as expected with regards to the trial period, but you didn't get to finish your testing phase within the time limit.

sliksvn displays popup, "There is no disk in the drive"

Problem:
I use the SlikSVN command line client and Windows 8.1 machine. When I type svn update in any folder, a message box appears that says, "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive F:" I cannot stop or explain why sliksvn pops up this message.
Screenshot:
Question: Do you know what might cause this?
More details:
After pressing Continue a couple times, it finally does the update.
It happens for svn update and checkout, but not for svn status and info.
I have tried clearing my SVN credentials.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling SlikSVN.
I do a custom install and only install the client and tools.
I have not noticed that it happens for any other program.
My computer is just a few weeks old.
My F: drive corresponds to an SD port on my computer. I have never used that SD port before.
My SlikSVN version is version 1.8.5-SlikSvn-1.8.5-X64 (SlikSvn/1.8.5) X64 compiled Nov 30 2013, 17:17:43 on x86_64-microsoft-windows6.2.9200
I reported this using the contact form on the SlikSVN website, but have not received a response yet.
I just checked the SlikSVN site again. On January 18, they uploaded a new version, 1.8.5-1. I did the following:
Uninstalled version 1.8.5
Deleted my AppData\Roaming\Subversion folder
Installed version 1.8.5-1
I no longer get the annoying popup message about drive F:.
As best I can tell, version 1.8.5-1 fixed the problem.
Do you have a removable USB?
Is it labelled C:\?
Microsoft doesn't like it
