Visual Studio 2013 keeps crashing in Microsoft.WITDataStore.dll - visual-studio-2013

My VS2013 is suddenly constantly crashing when I try working on a web forms app. Sometimes it crashes while I am not even interacting with it. Other times, it won't even come up.

Any clues on how to resolve?

I deleted everything in my TFS Cache folder and everything now works again. The folder was huge (> 4GB)

Following window displays exact version of Oracle 10g forms developer -
Standard forms 10 installation is made for windows XP.
There are some problems opening this installation on windows7.
On oracle support are patches available to fix this problem.
My favorite "solution" is to install VirtualBox, put Windows XP onto it, install Developer Suite and use it without problems. When I change the computer, I simply copy the virtual machine onto a new PC, save myself from yet another (and another, and another ...) painful installation process and use Forms (& Reports) instantly. I'd suggest you to do the same, if you want.

I have figured this problem too on my windows 7 ultimate i.e. sometimes my explorer or games won't respond and finally they crash. This can be solved using simple steps or common fixes below.
These are some simple starter troubleshooting steps you can perform. Try them out which might help you.
1. The first thing you should do is to backup your docs, music, videos, etc. to a particular drive, make a new user profile in windows and restore your backup.
2. A bad or corrupt Context Menu may be the reason for crash of explorer. You can troubleshoot using TPS (Third Party Software) known as "shell extension viewers". ShellExView is one of them. The rule is to disable non-Microsoft context menu handlers one-by-one and verify if the problem is solved. If disabling one does not solve the problem, undo the disabled item and disable the next non-Microsoft handler. Do the same until the problem is solved and finally identify the culprit. Scroll right to see the Company Name column in ShellExView. You can download it in the link below:
Link: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
3. Sometimes tweaking or fixing of registry may help to handle app crashes. You can download TPSs to fix registry (errors) like Iobit reg. fix or GlarySoft Registry Fix. "GlarySoft Registry Repair" is a free registry repair tool. You can download it in the link below:
Link: http://www.glarysoft.com/registry-repair/
4. "sfc /scannow" which stands for system file checker scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible. Type it command-prompt.
You can start commmand-prompt by win+R, type cmd.
Type sfc /scannow, press enter.
I hope above steps helps you.

Just in case someone is tearing his hair out over this for days and days like I did:
I had the same problem - when authenticating at a SMB share, regardless of the Server (Windows/Linux) on the other side, the Explorer would crash with this message. I tried pretty much exactly what Abhigyan proposed in his answer to no avail.
The solution for me: Deinstalling the "CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack" - this (obviously faulty) Bluetooth driver/stack (installed version was 2.1.63.0) was the cause; deinstalling it solved the problem on two of my Windows 7 installations.

tfs build server bluescreen

Our tfs build server has bluescreen issue for about 5 days since 8/11/2014.
Everyday morning, I come to office and I find build server has restarted accidently and following event message popup. Say there is a bluescreen issue occurred.
Seems the issue always occur at night. Because during day time, I haven't seen any bluescreen issue and message on build server

We have run "Debug Diagnostics Tool 2" to dump file: "081514-1848015-01.dmp" . report is following:
WER-31758078-0.sysdata.xml doesn't have any helpful info too.:
After analysis the dump file, we have no idea how to fix it.
Search on google, there is no better reference too. Because the issue is critical for team. we decide to reboot Host server on 8/15/2014.
And till now (8/18/2014) we have seen the "blue screen" issue again.

Powerbuilder (ver 7) Runtime problems

We have an old Powerbuilder app running on Server 2000 and need to move it. I am having a problem with moving the Powerbuilder app ver 7.0, to a newer platform - Server 2003.
We basically moved the directory with the app in it and all the Dlls. Then I registered the ones that would allow it. We also had to set up Informix client-side software and verified that it was able to connect to the Database.
The app basically takes 2 parameters then checks for data in a remote database, then generates a return code to be used by another app. The return code we get is unexpected and I have no luck in looking up the number:
-1073741811
The app is run from the command line. When I run the app I get a Windows error that mentions Sybase and msvcr80.dll and a dump, and the return code mentioned above - Here is the error from the manifest text:

I am surprised by the msvcr80.dll request, because this app was written around 2003 and I didnt think that c compiler was at ver 8 yet. I have used Dependency Walker and see no complaints there. I am probably in DLLHell with this thing, though... does anyone have any ideas what to look for?
Thanks in Advance!
I still have a few PB 7 applications around.
Did you try Application Compatibility?
Navigate to the folder and right click on the executable and choose the Compatibility tab.
I suggest trying
Run this program in compatibility for Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
Privilege Level [x] Run this program as administrator
You may need to use Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or an earlier version of Windows.

Fatal Error when using ADODB in VB6 on Windows Server 2003 SP2

We've got a legacy app (VB6) which works fine on an old Windows Server 2003 box and has been for many years. Recently we've had to move it to a different physical location and in doing this we cloned the box with virtualisation and placed it elsewhere.
In theory these two environments should be identical.
On the new box however the app falls over when calling the RecordCount method of an ADODB.Recordset. I should say that I can successfully read the ADODB.RecordSet.Properties.Count property with no problem on the line before.
The event viewer reports the following:
Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event
Category: (100) Event ID: 1000 Date: 28/09/2012 Time: 11:15:27
User: N/A Computer: APP01 Description: Faulting application
Control.exe, version 1.0.0.6, faulting module ntdll.dll,
version 5.2.3790.4789, fault address 0x0002c6e4.
I can only imagine there is something wrong with using ADODB within a virtualised environment. Any ideas?
The problem was caused by using a different driver in the ODBC Data Source Administrator when setting up the connection.
Previously we were using the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle driver, however when we manually set up this connection on the new server we mistakenly selected a different one (provided by the Oracle client).
The resolution is to ensure you're using the exact same driver.
