Shogun Installation on Windows - windows

The latest version of Shogun 4.0.0 (Released Jan, 2015) is reported to allow Windows installation as well. I am using Windows 10. Can anyone guide me in case they have done it?
(My question may seem quite blank but I have put in a lot of effort and research before coming here. Unfortunately, I have zero success so far)

4.0.0 definitely had no Windows support, only via cygwin.
I've been working on this during the weekend and already have an almost complete native Windows port of shogun in the feature/windows branch of the official git repository: https://github.com/shogun-toolbox/shogun/tree/feature/windows
around September we will release 5.0.0, which will include this as well.

TD 6.2 IDE compatibility

Is Gupta Team developer 6.2 compatible with Windows 10 ?
We are upgrading our systems from windows 7 to windows 10 and we have centura version 6.2. Do we have to upgrade the Centura to a higher version or will Windows 10 support the current version?
I have no experience with Gupta 6.2, but 5.2 has issues on Windows 10. I have migrated to 7.1.2 and have had no issues since.
If you can do so, i'd seriously consider upgrading to a newer version, the quality of life improvements are well worth it.
Yes TD6.2 works fine with Windows 10 in my experience*
Your question refers to 'Gupta TeamDeveloper' and then reverts to 'Centura version 6.2' . There is no such thing as 'Centura' anymore ever since v1.5, unless you are talking about a 16bit version.
*So assuming you actually do mean Gupta TeamDeveloper v6.2 --> 32 or 64bit , then yes it works fine with Windows 10. Of course, TD6.2 is way past end-of-life support, so you wont get much help from Gupta on this, as the latest supported version is TD7.3
Thoroughly recommend you visit our Gupta TeamDeveloper Forum here:
Team Developer SQLWindows Community Forum ( register and you get more options ) where you can get expert help/advice etc.
Go here for version information and compatibility matrix for each: Version Info and Compatibility Matrix . Note that 6.2 on Win10 is not certified by OpenText, but it seems to work anyway.

Mac OSX Sierra Upgrade to latest Apache version

I would like to be running the latest version of Apache on my MacBook PHP dev machine.
Since the upgrade to Sierra it is now at 2.4.23 which seems to be the most current. But that will likely change. When it does, is it possible to upgrade to the newest on the Mac? If so, how please?
Thanks
Mark
Update will come with the next upgrade of Mac OS. In this case, you can see this page: https://jason.pureconcepts.net/2016/09/update-apache-php-mysql-mac-os-x-sierra/
Apache is part of the OS and updates of this will be provided by App store of with software upgrades.
Alternative is using MacPorts. https://www.macports.org/
If you only want to stay up to date with the PHP part (and not Apache itself), you could take a look here: https://php-osx.liip.ch/

Can't update Meteor on Windows 8.1 machine

When I run 'meteor update', it says that I have the latest version Meteor 0.8.3. When I specify the release using '--release 0.9.2.2', it says that the version is unknown.
What's going on here?
I tried reinstalling but got the exact same behavior.
Unfortunately, Meteor does not support Windows out of the box. That means that it has to be ported, which takes some time. So if you want the newest Meteor version as soon as it is released, you can either run a VM with Linux (for example, using Virtualbox) or install Linux alongside Windows on you computer (make sure to back up all data before, though!)
Or you can just wait becuase as saimeunt pointed out, Meteor will be ported to Windows soon.
From March 31, 2015, meteor is supported on Windows

bigmemory/windows compatibility

Following on from this question(Can't install bigrf package);
Is there a version of the bigmemory package, and by extension bigrf that works with windows OS?
I understand that support has been removed in recent years but I can't seem to find when that support was removed and thus which versions should still work with windows??

Run latest version of G-WAN on windows

I see some comments in G-WAN website about discontinuing Windows version since Sep 9, 2009.
Now, I want to run the latest version of G-WAN web server in Windows, how can I do that?
Well, you'll have to convince Microsoft to update their issues which are slowing down G-WAN.
:) It's currently not very profitable to invest time in Windows when the bottlenecks are coming from the OS (from my understanding).
But, if you really want to run the latest version in Windows, you'll probably have to go down the virtualization route, and even then you'll still be depending on Linux to power it.
