I'm building a new Spring mvc project and I'm quite bit impressed to see the performance benchmark of Cache2K. Hoever, I couldn't find any article on how to configure it with the current Spring MVC 4.2.4 and Java 1.8
It'll be a great help if somebody would help me with this.
P.P. - I'm using JavaConfig with complete annotation support

I am in the process of building a set of shared libraries using custom Spring Boot starter auto configuration per guidance from https://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/2.6.7/reference/htmlsingle/#features.developing-auto-configuration. Great feature offered by Spring Boot by the way! My question is that how does Spring Native support these types of custom Spring Boot Starter libraries? Are extra reflection configurations or native hints required? I have been evaluating Spring Native and I am very excited about the performance boost it brings to Spring Boot apps! I am eagerly awaiting Spring Boot 3 GA to be released! Any advice on how Spring Boot 3 and/or Spring Native handles custom Spring Boot starter libraries and if any extra configurations are required will be greatly appreciated!

The other day I was playing around with the Spring ToolSuite (STS), and noticed that project types like ("classic") Spring Framework application and Spring MVC are underneath the "Spring legacy project". Does it mean that it is to be phased out, or it is under a deprecation process?
#M.Deinum is absolutely correct (in the comments above). The Spring Legacy Project wizard helps you to create Spring projects that do not use Spring Boot, which is the recommended way to create new Spring projects. Even though using the Spring framework without Spring Boot is absolutely fine and is not deprecated by any means, we are going to remove wizards and additional extras around that in future versions of the Spring tools in order to lead newbies in the direction of Spring boot when using the Spring tools.
I'm looking to learn Spring Security with Grails but I can't find any intensive course that is built with Grails. My question is, since Grails 3 is built on top of Spring Boot, can I use Spring Boot Spring Security configuration for my Grails 3 app?

Can anyone clarify what are the differences between Spring Framework, Spring ROO, and Spring MVC ? I am really puzzled by these similar terms and cannot mangage find an answer.
It's really easy:
Spring Roo is a DEVELOPMENT-TIME tool, similar to Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.
Spring Framework is a RUN-TIME framework.
Applications generated with Spring Roo at development time use Spring Framework at run time.

My own brief description would be: Spring framework is the framework providing some functionalities for example dependency injection. Spring MVC is for creating web projects as you mentioned already. Finally Spring Roo is a tool, that helps you increase productivity, I'd say that instead of manual configuration changes you are using this tool.
