I'm trying to install Joomla 3.4.2 but when I go to my localhost to proceed with the installation it gives me a "Server Error 500". Can anyone help me?
Check the error logs on the server - they will probably tell you something. Also, check that the server you are trying to install Joomla 3 on meets the minimum requirements.
Joomla don't support PHP7. You need to use Joomla 3.5 version.

I try to install Plugins on my Magento 1.9.2.4 on PHP 7.0.4.
All normal Plugins have the same Error Message:
requires PHP version >= 5.2.13 and <= 5.7.0 current is: 7.0.4
The Shop runs after a small bugfix fine. But without Plugins its Useless.
Thanks.
The creator of each extension/plugin in Magento specifies a supported version. It sounds like none of your plugins/extensions support PHP anything greater than a (existent) PHP 5.7. You'll either need to
Contact extension/plugin vendors and ask them to release a version on connect that supports PHP 7
Stop using Magento Connect to install plugins and install them yourselves manually.
The specifics of this are well beyond the scope of an individual Stack Overflow answer.
I have one very big problem.
I have installed Magento 2 Community Edition.
I am trying to install Magento Extension from Using magento-connect, but there is one problem.
When I login to Magento Admin, and go to Tools I really do not see anything where I can paste my magento-connect URL.
Can someone help me please?
I have installed Magento 2 with Sample data.
Best regards,
Magento-2.0 does not support magento connect.
Because of syntax mismatch in magento-1.x and magento-2.x, this extenison https://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/catalog/product/view/id/14604/s/dixeno-findologic-6870/ will not work in magento 2.0
Hope you understood well.
I am trying to upgrade Magento 1.3.2.4 to 1.7 using Magento Connect Manager via 'magento-core/Mage_All_Latest' extension key to install. But I found the following error and I don't know how to reslove it.
Error -
Exception caught:
Warning: include(/N91nq64igkwi8oxu.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/projects/spacecenter/lib/Varien/Autoload.php on line 93
If anyone faced this kind of error, please help.
Thanks in Advance!
I strongly recommend this upgrade guide from Turnkey - worked perfectly for me.
Please don't expect that everything works or looks the same once you've upgraded to Magento 1.7. Depending on what features or extensions you use, quite a bit of work might be needed until you're done. So don't do this on your live system. Better duplicate it to a development environment and test the upgrade there.
I'm installing Joomla using WebMatrix and I get HTTP Error 500.0 (Microsoft Knowledge Base Article:" 294807) when I try to run it. I did it on two computers and virtual machine and I still get the error. Although my friend installed it without problems. Could you please help me with this issue?
Problem can easely be solved: Run 'Web Platform Installer' again and add 'URL Rewrite 2.0' .
This did the trick for me .
i'm trying to install the jomsocial plugin on my local joomla.
joomla (v1.6) was freshly installed from scratch - i'm having the latest version of jomsocial (v2.20)
i've followed the jomsocial installation instructions but it didn't work,
during the installation process i got the same error over + over again:
Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in ...
any ideas what could be wrong?
thanks
It would be helpful if you posted the complete error, but it looks like you need to change your php.ini error reporting log level.
