I trying to do pull to refresh but the design I using no fulfill my supervisor. How to this kind pull to refresh in nativescript, now I using this plugin https://www.npmjs.com/package/nativescript-pulltorefresh in my project, and I have not have idea how to do it, can give some advise?
If you want to dinamically load item when needed can use virtual-array module.

The idea is that you can createa observable virtual array which has initial size and also loadSize instance property. Then on itemsLoadingEvent you can control the loading of new resources.
var array = new virtualArrayModule.VirtualArray(100);
array.loadSize = 15;
array.on(virtualArrayModule.VirtualArray.itemsLoadingEvent, function (args) {
// Argument (args) is ItemsLoading.
// args.index is start index of the page where the requested index is located.
// args.count number of requested items.
//
// Note: Virtual array will divide total number of items to pages using "loadSize" property value. When you request an
// item at specific index the array will raise "itemsLoading" event with "ItemsLoading" argument index set to the first index of the requested page
// and count set to number of items in this page.
//
// Important: If you have already loaded items in the requested page the array will raise multiple times "itemsLoading" event to request
// all ranges of still not loaded items in this page.
var itemsToLoad = new Array();
for (var i = 0; i < args.count; i++) {
itemsToLoad.push(i + args.index);
}
array.load(args.index, itemsToLoad);
});

I'm very new to writing script for Google Sheets, and I'm attempting to create a spreadsheet that will only display a dropdown in a column ("Provisional Notes") if the value in a column ("Certified or Provisional" is "Provisional." If it is "Certified," the user is be able to enter data freely. I'm also wanting to remove the validation if the value changes from "Provisional". I also need the solution to run on the Google Sheets App, as this spreadsheet will be run on an iPad and/or a smartphone.
I've done quite a bit of searching, and only seem to find dropdowns that depend on other dropdowns, rather than leaving a cell blank if the initial dropdown is a certain value.
What I have come up with so far only runs once (even though I've attempted to have it occur on every edit?) Also, if the value changes from Provisional to Certified, the validation does not get removed.
For my practice, I've applied it to only 2 specific cells, rather than the entire 2 columns.
function onEdit2(e){
var dropdownCell = SpreadsheetApp.getActive().getRange('P2');
var certCell = SpreadsheetApp.getActive().getRange('J2');
var rule = SpreadsheetApp.newDataValidation().requireValueInList(['Test 1', 'Test 2'], true).build();
function insertDropdown(){
if(e.certCell.getValue() === "P"){
dropdownCell.setDataValidation(rule);
}
}
}
I greatly appreciate all suggestions!
To delete a data validation you just need to use the method setDataValidation() and set its value to null to delete the data validation present on that cell.
In the following code example, depending on the value inserted I am adding or deleting the data validation. This code example has self explanatory comments:
function onEdit(e) {
// get sheet
var sheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActive().getSheetByName('Sheet1');
// if modifications happen in A
if(e.range.getColumn()==1){
// check inserted value
if(e.range.getValue()=='Provisional'){
// create rule from a list range and set it to the same row in column B
var rule = SpreadsheetApp.newDataValidation().requireValueInList(['A','B']).setAllowInvalid(false).build();
sheet.getRange(e.range.getRow(),2).setDataValidation(rule);
}
// if it is set to certified
if(e.range.getValue()=='Certified'){
// delete any data validation that may have been in its adjacent cell
sheet.getRange(e.range.getRow(),2).setDataValidation(null);
}
}
}
I have linked part of a sheet in google doc (as linked object). Now, whenever I change the sheet data, I can click a button in google doc and the data is reflected in the google doc linked sheet too (this is all built in google doc stuff).
What I want to do is the other side of this. I am able to see a bunch of data in one place (google doc) based on the sheets I have linked. I would like to update the data in the google doc, and "upload" it to the linked google sheets.
I am trying to write a script to do that. But cannot seem to find any method to access linked sheets. I found this slides API page that can does the sheet -> slide syncing.
I am looking at the document API page, but I scanning through add... and get... methods, I don't see to find any way to get linked objects. Is it represented as NamedRange? If so, how do I access it?
There was another similar question, but without any satisfactory answer.
If you can share some pointers to get started, I would appreciate it.
Edit: Here is an example doc (and a spreadsheet contained their in) to explain the situation clearer.
Test document for updating spreadsheet - Google Docs
You can find the Table elements in your Document via findElement(elementType). If that's the only Table in your Document, as in the sample you shared, this is immediate.
Once you retrieve the Table, you can loop through its rows and cells and come up with a 2D array with the values from the table:
function getTableValues() {
const doc = DocumentApp.getActiveDocument();
const body = doc.getBody();
const table = body.findElement(DocumentApp.ElementType.TABLE).getElement();
let tableValues = [[]];
for (let i = 0; i < table.getNumRows(); i++) {
const tableRow = table.getRow(i);
for (let j = 0; j < tableRow.getNumCells(); j++) {
const tableCell = tableRow.getCell(j);
const text = tableCell.getText();
tableValues[i].push(text);
}
if (i == table.getNumRows() - 1) break;
tableValues.push([]);
}
return tableValues;
}
Once you've done that, you just need to copy it to your spreadsheet via setValues(values):
function copyToSheet(tableValues, spreadsheetId) {
const sheet = SpreadsheetApp.openById(spreadsheetId).getSheetByName("Sheet1");
sheet.getRange(1, 1, tableValues.length, tableValues[0].length).setValues(tableValues);
}
Calling both of these in the same function, you would get this:
function main() {
const tableValues = getTableValues();
const spreadsheetId = "{your-spreadsheet-id}";
copyToSheet(tableValues, spreadsheetId);
}
Note:
getActiveDocument() is used to retrieve the Document, so this assumes the script is bound to your Document. If that's not the case, use openById(id) or openByUrl(url) instead.
So what I'm trying to accomplish is when the grid is fully loaded, I loop over a certain column that contains checkboxes. Depending on the value of the checkbox I should be able to disable it.
Problem is that I can't access the html element that's there. Am i doing something wrong or overlooking something?
What i've tried:
loadComplete: function() {
// Fetch all the ID's of the rows
var rows = $("#table").getDataIDs();
// Loop over the rows
if(rows.length != 0){
for(i=0; i < rows.length; i++) {
// Get the data so we test on a certain condition
var row = $("#table").jqGrid("getRowData", rows[i]);
if (row.gridCheckbox == 1) {
//disable the element
row.prop("disabled", "disabled");
}
}
}
}
It's important to understand that changing one element on the page follow in the most cases to web browser reflow: validation whether some property (position for example) need be changed in all other elements on the page. If you do changes in the loop then your JavaScript code can be really slow.
Thus it's strictly recommended to reduce the number of changes of the DOM. Especially to reduce the number of changes jqGrid provides rowattr, cellattr and custom formatters. If you need for example to set disabled attribute on some rows then you should now do this in loadComplete, but to use rowattr instead to inform jqGrid that some additional attributes (disabled="disabled") should be set on some rows. jqGrid collect first the string representation of the whole table body and it use one assignment of innerHTML to fill the whole body of the grid in one DOM operation. It improves essentially the performance. See code example in the old answer.
I have a problem with my product view. I want to display product data. each product is a "box" with an image and text. I want to display six products on a panel. As of the fact that i have many products i want to have a "carousel like view". My idea was the following: Place 6 products on a panel. Load 3 panels and place each panel as a carousel item so that i can swipe to get to another "page".
To save performance I tried to always have only 3 items in the carousel. The active "page" and the page before, and the page after, so that I can swipe to left/right and the next page can be loaded.
I tried to put my logic in the "onActiveItemChange"-Listener of the carousel, but I had massive problems with adding/removing carousel items. So my Question is is it possible to do what i want to accomplish?
Is there a better alternative? Of course my data is in a store, but I don't want that standard list view.
Another Question: Because my first attempt with the carousel failed i tried to build a Ext.Container (card layout) with the panels on it. But how can I listen to a swipe event on a Panel???
thanks for help ;-)
Even I am doing the same, using carousel & a store. Every page of carousel is a view(panel) which would have 4/6 child views(panels). On store load I am creating those children and then divide them into pages and add those pages to carousel.
This is working fine for me and on activeItemChange I am loading more pages:
activeitemchange: function(container, value, oldValue, eOpts) {
var activeItemIndex = container.getActiveIndex();
var galleryTotal = container.getInnerItems() ? container.getInnerItems().length : 0;
if ((activeItemIndex + 1 == galleryTotal)) {
console.log("At last page, time to load");
var store = this.config.store;
store.nextPage({ addRecords: true });
}
}
I think I understand your issue. Assuming you've got 3 items and you're always viewing the middle one (as you move forward, item 0 gets destroyed and one item gets created). And assuming that each item has an id associated with its location in the list.
var current_item = Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').getActiveItem().getId();
current_item = Number(current_item.replace('item', ''));
//Objects to create
var next_item = current_item + 1;
var previous_item = current_item - 1;
//Objects to destroy
var next2_item = current_item + 2;
var previous2_item = current_item - 2;
//Create items
var createItem = function(item_location, type){
var carousel_item = create_content(item_location);
if(type == 'next'){
Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').add(carousel_item);
}else if(type == 'previous'){
Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').insert(0, carousel_item);
Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').setActiveItem(1);
}
}
createItem(next_item,'next');
createItem(previous_item,'previous');
//Destroy items
if(Ext.getCmp('item'+previous2_item)){
Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').getItems().items[0].destroy();//This is a hack, for some reason with the above commented out line, the item was getting destroyed but wasn't being removed from carousel_name
}
if(Ext.getCmp('item'+next2_item)){
Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').getItems().items[Ext.getCmp('carousel_name').getMaxItemIndex()].destroy();//This is a hack, consistency with previous destroy (above)
}
I am attempting to develop a Firefox extension.
I have a simple need. At this time in testing, I simply wish to define an array. When the button is pushed, the Current Window goes to the first URL in the array. When the button is pushed again, it goes to the next URL in the array.
I am of the impression that I need to store the present sequence in the array using simple-storage (ss.storage) yet I cannot make it work. I thought perhaps I could store the sequence information using a Cookie but the Add-on SDK appears to be very stringent. Perhaps there is a far simpler method but I cannot seem to identify what that would be.
Current Status - when the button is pushed, the code opens three separate windows for each URL in the array. If you could please help me to modify this code so that opens one URL from the array each time the button is pushed - as described above.
require("widget").Widget({
id: "view-source-widget",
label: "View Source",
contentURL: "http://www.mozilla.org/favicon.ico",
onClick: function() {
var arr = new Array("one.com","two.com","three.com");
for(var i=0; i<arr.length; i++) {
var value = arr[i];
var ss = require("simple-storage");
ss.storage.myURL= value;
var windows = require("windows").browserWindows;
windows.open(ss.storage.myURL);
}
}
});
If I understand correctly what you are trying to do - you don't need persistent storage, a normal global variable will do. The global variable indicates the array index at which you are right now. Something like this:
var urls = ["one.com","two.com","three.com"];
var urlIndex = 0;
...
onClick: function() {
var windows = require("windows").browserWindows;
windows.open(urls[urlIndex]);
// Increase index for the next click
urlIndex++;
if (urlIndex >= urls.length)
urlIndex = 0;
}
...
