APEX 'waiting for data' chart label not visible - oracle

while loading data for a chart in APEX 5 (default html5) the user is presented with a 'Waiting for data...' label at the chart position. Unfortunately this label is only visible when the chart has a fixed 'width'.
Is there a workaround so that the label is always visible? Working with a fixed width is no option due to window resizing and different screen resolutions.
Thanks in advance,
Peter

The only workaround I came up with is calling
$(window).trigger("apexwindowresized");
after the page load.
This is not pretty but it works.

Oracle Apex Chart Label color

I know this is a silly one but haven't been able to fix my chart.
I have a bar chart created showing the number of Reps per Location and I want to have my label in white. What I'm doing right now is to go to the X Axe, under the Title option I'm choosing ''white'' as the Font Color. But this doesn't have any effect (label is still black).
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Edit --
Thank you for the help!
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, have no CSS no nothing but still it won't change the label color. Example below with dummy data on a blank new page:
X Axe:
Not that font color; scroll down to Tick Label and set its color:
Update: The Apex Team has raised a bug ticket to fix this behavior.

Oracle APEX Interactive grid overflows the region

I have a couple of interactive grids on my page and one of them is overflowing the region. I have tried resizing columns but no matter what I do, the grid bounces right back - overflowing the region. It almost seems as if there is a minimum width property set somewhere but I cannot figure it out.
Under Advanced settings for the interactive grid there is a column that says custom attributes. This field allows you to type in CSS that can override the default CSS. My recommendation would be to play with this column with commands such as
style="width: 90%;"
This would reduce the maximum width the interactive grid will take up (from 100% of screen to 90% of screen).
Additionally when looking at the page you can hit F12 to open a web inspect that could help show more details about the CSS of the grid. If this doesn't help could you provide a screenshot or demo so we can further assist.

Issue with Kendo Graph in Printing

We have a page where we are printing Kendo pie charts which is working perfectly fine. We have a facility to print these charts using default windows Print option using Windows.Print(). Issue that we have seen is that the charts which are Center aligned shifts to right while we are printing. On investingating further we understood that this is happening because the page is resizing itself while Printing but Kendo Charts are not resizing and aligning themselves in center. We explicitely refreshed the Kendo charts by adding followed by explicit refresh of Kendo Chart
$(“#Chart”).data("kendoChart").refresh();
However still we are facing challenge while getting it center aligned while printing. Has anyone faced similar challenge? Is there a workaround?
You can resize kendo chart by redraw method
$("#myChart").data("kendoChart").redraw();

Probably Javascript conflicts

I am not pro developer and have small knowledge of html and css only. I am trying to work on a joomla website. I tried to add Google charts to my page. Actually it's a module that I am inserting to an article through load module function. But there seems to have a conflict and the chart is not displayed correctly. It seems that there are some conflicts with the issues but I am not sure how to figure.

if you go to above link and go to tabs and open trekking map tab you will see the bug. The width of chart is very small. I want to display 100% so that it can be responsive. I tried changing the width to px as well but no luck.
Please help me. ..
The width of elements that are hidden is zero. Therefore, the chart thinks your window has a width of zero and ends up using its smallest width.
Try triggering a resize event on the window when the tab is shown, this should cause the responsive code to run.
I never used Google charts, but what you are experiencing also happens on Google Maps.
You have two options, either you use opacity (or maybe visibility hidden) instead of display: none, this will make the chart to resize automatically when the page opens.
The other option is to trigger the resize event, something like this... Google chart redraw/scale with window resize
Hope it helps
Even though the outer wrapper div#ja-google-chart-wrapper-404 is set to 100% width, two child elements are fixed at 400px. Specifically, the <svg width="400"> element that sets the image at a fixed width, plus the div that wraps it has the width set to 400px. Even though you have their parent set to 100%, if the image itself has a fixed width it won't expand to fill the space.
Check to see if there's a setting in your module or in the Google Chart itself that lets you set a different width (or none at all) on the inserted image.
One solution would be to resize the SVG element when the a#tab1-trekking-map is clicked. I just tested this in the Chrome console and it worked to trigger the map to resize to the full width of the container:
jQuery("#ja-google-chart-wrapper-404 svg").resize();
Add this (or something like it) to your other scripts that are called when your tabs are clicked. If the ID of the chart wrapper is generated dynamically you may need to adjust a bit, but triggering resize() (as stated by Niet and miguelmpn) should do the trick nicely.

increasing the page width in oracle reports builder

I am designing a new report using oracle reports builder that comes with 10g. I have many columns to be inserted horizontally. But I couldn't increase the page width of the body section beyond 8.5 inches. But I can see the page width of some existing reports to be more than 16 inches. How do I increase the page width?. I have been googling for an hour but couldn't find anything useful. I have tried tinkering with the settings at,
File->Page Size
Tools->Options->Margin
Edit->Preferences
but no gain.
So any help would be much welcome.
Thanks.
In the Object Navigator window, open up the Layout Model node. Then double-click on the Main Section node to bring up its properties in the Property Palette window. There you will find Width, which defaults to 8.5, and Height, which defaults to 11.
Tony's answer shows how to adjust the width of the report. If you want to adjust the margin, then open up the Layout Model, click on the button "Edit Margin" (visit the tooltips to identify the button), click on the thick black border and then adjust the margin by dragging the small white square.
Regards,
Rob.
In paper layout go to headersection and double click change width height.
Do the same for mainsection and trailer section.
