BIRT Repeating only part of a header - birt

What I am currently trying to do in BIRT 4.5 is repeat only a specific part of my tables header. However when I set it to repeat the header it always repeats the entire header.
Is there a way to only repeat a specific part of the header?
In my example - there is two headers, the "table name" and the "column headings". I only want the column headings to repeat. I have a feeling its likely going to be a scripted fix, but have no idea where to go to start it.

this might get tricky because headers can be repeated for groups but also for pagebreaks.
Not the most fancy, but you should get something working by defining a global variable on the page script
var headerCount = 0;
Then select an element in the header, open the onPrepare script and have it increment the counter:
headerCount = headerCount + 1;
with this information, you can make true/false statements in the visibility property.
Each object has onPrepare, onCreate, onRender and onPagebreak scripts. Not sure what the exact difference, so you have to experiment a bit with this. (because when an element should increase the counter, but is not rendered due to the visibility clause, you can get unexpected results.)

Report Builder Expressions

Im new to Report Builder and having issues with some expressions that Im trying to implement in a report. I got the standard ones to work however as soon as I try any distinctions, I get error messages. Over the last couple weeks, Ive tried many combinations, read the expression help, google and looking at other questions at internet sites. To reduce my frustrations, I even would jump to other expressions and walk away hoping I would have different insight coming back.
Its probably something simple or something I dont know about writing expressions.
Im hoping that someone can help with these expressions; they are the versions I get the least errors with(usually just expression expected) and show what Im trying to accomplish.

The error message gives you the answer here - no false part of the iif() has been specified. Use =IIF((Fields!RECORDFLAG.Value)=”D”,COUNTDISTINCT(Fields!TICK‌​ETNUM.Value), 0)

This is not how an OR works in SSRS. Use:
=IIF((Fields!TRANSTYPE.Value)="1" and (Fields!RECORDFLAG.VALUE="A" or Fields!RECORDFLAG.Value = "B"),SUM(Fields!DOLLARS.Value),0)
The 0s are returned due to your report design. countdistinct() is an aggregate function - it's meant to be used on a set of data. However, your iif() is only testing on a per row basis - you're basically saying "if the current row is thing, count all the distinct values" which doesn't make sense. There are a couple of ways forward:
You can count the number of times a certain value occurs in a given condition using a sum(). This is not the same as the countdistinct(), but if you use =sum(iif(Fields!RECORDFLAG.Value = "D", 1, 0)) then you will get the number of times RECORDFLAG is D in that set. Note: this requires the data to be aggregated (so in SSRS, grouped in a tablix).
You can use custom code to count distinct values in a set. See https://itsalocke.com/aggregate-on-a-lookup-in-ssrs/. You can apply this even if you have only one dataset - just reference the same one twice.
You can change the way your report works. You can group on Fields!RECORDFLAG.Value and filter the group to where Fields!RECORDFLAG.Value = "D". Then in your textbox, use =countdistinct(Fields!TICKETNUM.Value) to get the distinct values for TICKETNUM when RECORDFLAG is D.

Google sheets api adding multiple rows

I'm trying to figure this out and I must be overlooking something basic. (It took me WAAAY longer than it should have just to realize I hadn't added the trigger.)
When forms are submitted, if that page runs out of rows, it automatically expands. I have a reconciliation page where it is pulling the submitted data over line by line and analyzing it for discrepancies (the form collects billable time and tasks.)
So while the Form Responses 1 page will expand, I want to use a trigger on form submit to add a line to the reconciliation page and copy the formulas down. I can't seem to get the line to add though. Looking at the google page for expanding the number of rows, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong there either but I THINK I need to add more java features to my computer.
If I simply copy and paste the example into a new sheet, most of the code is black instead of the standard editor colors. Saving pops up "Missing ; before statement. (line 1, file "Code")"
Line one is simply "import com.google.gdata.client.spreadsheet.*;"
So zerothly: Whats the most basic code I can use to add that blank row?
Then first: Do I need to import a bunch of stuff to get this (adding rows) to work?
Second: If so, and I transfer ownership of the sheet to someone, do they need to do the imports also?
Third: If so, and I want to do edits on another device, will I need to do imports there too?
Fourth: The example uses Update() but I can't seem to find an Update() function in javascript or googlesheets api documentation.

Sigh... I am still wondering how to add more rows but I did answer my original need of adding a single line since form submits only add a single line. So I'm going to answer it since I had done so many searches and for some reason this never came up, maybe someone will find this useful if they are having the same issue.

Note that this adds a single blank line. If you run it a second time it won't add a second blank line as appendRow() adds after the last line with data. If you put a string in there or something and run it over and over you will get multiple lines.
I really would like to know about adding multiple lines though also since that will come up and I still seem to be missing something, probably obvious.
Did you know that arrayformula woluld make new lines automatically.? If you paste this formula in Sheet2:
=OFFSET(Sheet1!A1,,,counta(Sheet1!A:A))
and then paste new values in Sheet1 range A:A, then new rows would be added on Sheet2.

What means "Name=SWEIPS" Parametr in Siebel

Writing script in LR for Siebel Open UI. All my requests contains this parameter, with different values. What does it mean?
Examples (from different requests):
"Name=SWEIPS", Value = #0'0'1'0'GetProfileAttr'3'attrName'SBRF Position Id'"
"Name=SWEIPS", Value = #0'0''0'3'1-SQE21A, 1-SQL21E, 1SQE31"
And so on.

Compare SWEIPS value by recording twice or trice with different data sets, check is there any date/time values in SWEIPS. If there is nothing to correlate leave as it is, no need to delete.
Ensure to correlate values like SWET,ROWID,SWECount,SWEC and so on.

confirm conditional statement applies to >0 observations in Stata

This is something that has puzzled me for some time and I have yet to find an answer.
I am in a situation where I am applying a standardized data cleaning process to (supposedly) similarly structured files, one file for each year. I have a statement such as the following:
replace field="Plant" if field=="Plant & Machinery"
Which was a result of the original code-writing based on the data file for year 1. Then I generalize the code to loop through the years of data. The problem becomes if in year 3, the analogous value in that variable was coded as "Plant and MachInery ", such that the code line above would not make the intended change due to the difference in the text string, but not result in an error alerting the change was not made.
What I am after is some sort of confirmation that >0 observations actually satisfied the condition each instance the code is executed in the loop, otherwise return an error. Any combination of trimming, removing spaces, and standardizing the text case are not workaround options. At the same time, I don't want to add a count if and then assert statement before every conditional replace as that becomes quite bulky.
Aside from going to the raw files to ensure the variable values are standardized, is there any way to do this validation "on the fly" as I have tried to describe? Maybe just write a custom program that combines a count if, assert and replace?
The idea has surfaced occasionally that replace should return the number of observations changed, but there are good reasons why not, notably that it is not a r-class or e-class command any way and it's quite important not to change the way it works because that could break innumerable programs and do-files.
So, I think the essence of any answer is that you have to set up your own monitoring process counting how many values have (or would be) changed.
One pattern is -- when working on a current variable:

Crystal Reports - change group header suppress formula programmatically

Using Crystal Reports 10 and vb6/classic (although I expect its the same in any language),
is it possible to change a suppression formula on a Group header section dynamically from code.
I'm basically changing the GroupConditionField on a specific group dynamically according to user input, but on that group header there is a suppression field formula containing a check on a grouped sum.
Sum ({#ColourTotal}, {Table.Field}) =0
If this is true, the group gets suppressed. This obviously comes up with an error complaining it can't find the group when the GroupConditionField is changed through code.
So is there a way to change the suppress formula for a specific group from within code?
I apologize this is C# but I had it handy. I need to so something similar so I have a formula that I set to a value from my program. The report checks this value to decide whether to suppress or not. I suspect you can use the same technique to change the formula, but I'm too lazy to test it my self.

This code just sets the formula field, "Florida" to either 0 or 1.
I believe I have found a way to do it using the Group Selection Formula under
Report->Selection Formulas-> Group inside the actual report.
Not ideal and will involve some reformatting but should work.
