BotFramework Configure Email - botframework

When configuring the email channel, i enter credentials of an office365 account and the submit credentials process just hangs. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

I think you faced a transient error. I just tried with my O365 account and it validated the credentials. Can you try again?

Access to sendgrid.com was denied

When I tried to open sendgrid through heroku I get this error:
Access to sendgrid.com was deniedYou don't have authorization to view this page.
HTTP ERROR 403
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Seems to be a recurring issue on SendGrid's side.
You can try to log in at https://app.sendgrid.com/login via the username and password set in the Heroku config. You probably get an authorizzation error saying to contact SendGrid support. Trying to re-create the addon from the CLI will show User status - banned.
You need to contact support. You can only do that with a registered account though. At this point you might decide to look for a better service. :(

Problems with authorization on Sonarcloud

Good afternoon. I created an account on sonarcloud via github, but after I changed my username to github, I can not log in to sonarcloud. A message is displayed:
"You're not authorized to access this page. Please contact the administrator.
Reason: You can't sign up because email '*****' is already used by an existing user. This means that you probably already registered with another account."
As said by Fabrice, for the moment the only way to fix this issue is to send a message on about.sonarcloud.io/contact to fix this issue.
This issue should be fixed in a cleaner way by https://jira.sonarsource.com/browse/MMF-1161.

The bot's MSA appId or password is incorrect

When connecting the emulator to the bot i get this error,
"[10:43:22] -> POST 401 [conversationUpdate]
[10:43:22] Error: The bot's MSA appId or password is incorrect."
I removed the App Id and password and tried to run it locally then also am getting the same error.
I researched around the internet and could not find any solutions that solves my problem. Please help.

How to reset developer account password?

I have received a developer account number and extension, however I never received the email with the password. I can't reset it from the test portal either as it is asking me a security question. I tried to answer based on my actual account, but it says invalid.
Obviously, I can't do anything until I get this password. So what are my options? Create a new app and hope it works the second time? I checked my mail server and don't see any rejected emails from RC either.
Edit: Looks like the email was rejected. It failed SPF, the server doesn't have rDNS, and I guess it got knocked a point for having the From header Base64 encoded.
Anyway, how can I reset it?

How to change SMTP username in mandrill

I am using Mandripp app by Mail chimp.

For sending emails using there SMTP settings.
I have a SMTP username which I want to change. But Mandrill is not giving me any option to change my SMTP username. It only gives option to change the Username or password for login account but not for SMTP
Can anyone have idea how to do that?

The SMTP username is the same as the account username for login, so you can change that if you want and the SMTP username will also change. With SMTP, no validation actually happens on the username you provide—just the SMTP password (API key) so it doesn't really matter.
If anyone is still having this problem you need to change your contact information through your Mailchimp account.
I had the same problem. Here are the steps to update the username now. You need to do it on Mailchimp (not Mandrill):
Log-in on Mailchimp
Go to Settings > Details
There you have a Account name field, change it and save
Log-in on Mandrill
Go to Settings > SMTP & API Info
There you'll see the updated SMTP Username
Click on Account > Username & Contact info.
There you can choose to change username and/or contact email. As #terrorbox mentioned, changing the username does not matter for external API access as it is not checked.
