Vagrant VM does not boot up properly - vagrant

I am trying to get up my vagrant up, but am having some trouble with it. This is what happens when I do a vagrant up
Bringing machine 'default' up with 'virtualbox' provider...
==> default: Checking if box 'puphpet/centos65-x64' is up to date...
==> default: A newer version of the box 'puphpet/centos65-x64' is available! You currently
==> default: have version '20161004'. The latest is version '20161102'. Run
==> default: `vagrant box update` to update.
==> default: Clearing any previously set forwarded ports...
==> default: Clearing any previously set network interfaces...

default: 8443 (guest) => 9443 (host) (adapter 1)
default: 8787 (guest) => 8787 (host) (adapter 1)
default: 3306 (guest) => 3307 (host) (adapter 1)
default: 9990 (guest) => 9990 (host) (adapter 1)
default: 22 (guest) => 2222 (host) (adapter 1)
==> default: Running 'pre-boot' VM customizations...
==> default: Booting VM...
==> default: Waiting for machine to boot. This may take a few minutes...
default: SSH address: 127.0.0.1:2222
default: SSH username: vagrant
default: SSH auth method: private key
Timed out while waiting for the machine to boot. This means that
Vagrant was unable to communicate with the guest machine within
the configured ("config.vm.boot_timeout" value) time period.
If you look above, you should be able to see the error(s) that
Vagrant had when attempting to connect to the machine. These errors
are usually good hints as to what may be wrong.
If you're using a custom box, make sure that networking is properly
working and you're able to connect to the machine. It is a common
problem that networking isn't setup properly in these boxes.
Verify that authentication configurations are also setup properly,
as well.
If the box appears to be booting properly, you may want to increase
the timeout ("config.vm.boot_timeout") value.
When I do a vagrant ssh-config, I get the following
Host default
HostName 127.0.0.1
User vagrant
Port 2222
UserKnownHostsFile /dev/null
StrictHostKeyChecking no
PasswordAuthentication no
IdentityFile "/Users/ritwickgupta/.vagrant.d/insecure_private_key"
IdentitiesOnly yes
LogLevel FATAL
I tried looking what was happening in my VM, and everything looks ok. I can login into my VM without any issue. Does anyone what what's happening here?

I built the box version you are currently using, 20161004, with VirtualBox 5.1.x. This required users to upgrade to that version for boxes to work.
I have since rebuilt the boxes using VirtualBox 5.0.16, 20161102.
Please delete your local box and download the new version.

The guest machine entered an invalid state while waiting for it
to boot. Valid states are 'starting, running'. The machine is in the
'unknown' state. Please verify everything is configured
properly and try again.
If the provider you're using has a GUI that comes with it,
it is often helpful to open that and watch the machine, since the
GUI often has more helpful error messages than Vagrant can retrieve.
For example, if you're using VirtualBox, run `vagrant up` while the
VirtualBox GUI is open.
The primary issue for this error is that the provider you're using
is not properly configured. This is very rarely a Vagrant issue.
When I look at the virtualbox GUI everything seems to be fine, it's in running state and I can even log in into linux. Im running it on Windows 10 OS, Vagrant 1.9.4, VirtualBox 5.1.22
Ok, I solved the problem. I did not have virtualization enabled on my laptop.

Windows: Running vagrant as administrator not working - works normally

I've been using vagrant to run laravel/lumen as well as just other general stuff such as node js scripts. I've run into problems installing some things using npm, and it seems that a solution working for a lot of people is just running the command line (or git bash in my case) as an administrator. However when I try this and use vagrant up, I get a long list of errors. I've also tried vagrant init which gives the same errors.
Here are the errors
$ vagrant up

I get this error message when I try to vagrant up in my git-bash.

The problem is that i do not get any errors and if I go into my Virtualbox GUI, the VM is running!
Anybody who have experienced the same thing a have a solution.
It is on windows 10, with the latest virtualbox and vagrant.
I have just installed it on my laptop at home and i works fine, but at work on a work domain it won't, so can't really see what is wrong here.
This happened to me when I was setting up a Windows box. So, I would check if Virtualization is enabled in BIOS. If it is disabled, enable it. Try to boot again.

Port forwarding on Vagrant 1.8.1

I have a vagrant installed on Windows7 PC. I have jenkins, puppet other stuff installed on my centos7 vagrant box. When I do vagrant reload

Now when I do curl -v
C:\>curl -v http://127.0.0.1:8082
* Rebuilt URL to: http://127.0.0.1:8082/
* timeout on name lookup is not supported

* Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 8082: Connection refused
* Closing connection 0
curl: (7) Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 8082: Connection refused
Needless to say http://127.0.0.1:8082 doesnt fetch anything in the browser wither. What am I missing? BTW my vagrant and virtual box 5 is running on Windows7.
Thanks in advance
