I am using Magento CE 1.9.1.
Everything was working well a while ago and all of a sudden, the "Systems" menu from the admin panel navigation menu disappeared.
I cleared the "var" folder manually but still the problem is the same.
When I googled around, I do not see any one getting this weird error and am sure there is something wrong am doing which am not able to figure out.
Will appreciate if someone can assist on this.
You need to go to your root magento:
app/etc/modules
Here you have to enable the disabled modules again ->
Open the specific xml-module-file, in your favorite notepad editor e.g:
{namespace}_{module}.xml
-> Find the line false
Change false > true and SAVE and upload file back to server.
Repeat this on all the disabled files and empty cache and try login/logout.
Let me know how is works.
To Resolve this issue, you will have to do debugging as follow:
Step 1: Disable all module in local and community folder
First, disable the whole module in local and community folder.
For disabling local modules, please follow this tutorial link
http://magebase.com/magento-tutorials/quick-tip-disable-all-local-modules-at-once/
For disabling community modules, please follow below tutorial link
http://blog.onlinebizsoft.com/magento-quickly-disable-all-community-extensions/
After that check your admin section. if all things are working fine. then undo all changes above.
And now for disabling all module's of local and community folder.
Go to app/etc/modules
Disable the module
Step 3: When you will find which module has an issue, resolve the same.
Go to yourwebsite/magento/downloader/ ( Magento Connect )
Re-install all
Mage_Core_Adminhtml
Interface_Adminhtml_Default
Mage_All_Latest
Mage_Core_Modules
I dont know which one did it, but I reinstalled all of them and i worked!

Title says it all. I open a test file. Type $package.. Nothing comes up. It's not a delay issue. It's not an empty package. How do I get intellisense to turn on?
Update: I've open a bug ticket with the VSCode-Golang team. As we find more information, I'll report back here. https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode-go/issues/2278
I'm not sure as to the whys and the wherefores, but the solution was to reinstall all of the Go tools in VSCode. Look for "Go: Install/Update Tools". I selected them all. Once they installed, restart VScode. At this point autocomplete turned on.
I didn't remember a VSCode update before things broke. If you run into this issue, try reinstalling the tools within VScode.
Be sure your opened go file, the one you try to edit, is part of the open project folder in vs-code, otherwise the auto-completion will not work properly. If you want to edit file from other module it's better to open the module folder in other instance of vs-code and edit it from there.
If the intellisense was already working and suddenly stops, you may try any of the below or both to resolve this.
Reset the VisualStudio settings as explained here. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/visualstudio/visual-studio-2008/ms247075(v=vs.90)
Delete the .VS folder from your project.
I am having issues with using Atom text-editor. I have used it before on my system and all was fine. However, opening it today, I had the UI looking like this:
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but to no avail. I have also deleted the local data file after installation and I keep getting the same UI.
Any help would be awesome!
If you are wanting to get rid of the panel(s) at the right side of the window, that is your debug console. Just click the "x" at the upper right corner (in the light-gray section, not in the application title bar) and it will go away.
If that is not what you meant, you need to clarify the question.
I managed to fix it. I was not expecting the above layout after a fresh reinstall. This was what I expected (and am used to).
Somehow the .atom folder in C:\Users\%USER%.atom was completely hidden and read only, so I had trouble locating it. After using the terminal to access the folder, I inspected discovered its properties. After removing the hidden and read-only attributes, I deleted the folder and reinstalled Atom and it managed to fix the issue.
I have just downloaded the source package for DNN 8. I created a folder for the site, copied the files there and found the solution named DNN_Platform.sln and opened it with VS 2015. Did a right click and build on the solution and it successfully completed. I navigated to the web site and it gave me the standard install screen to input info such as database name etc. It ran and I was able to go to the web site. It has a single blank page named home with nothing in the page. I can go to some of the admin pages and they are fine. But I got to File Manager and all that I see is the bread crumb telling me my page location. Same occurred trying to look at the Page management screen. When I look at the available modules there are only a few there and there is no module for either the file manager (Digital Assets) or page manager. It feels like I am missing a portion of the build. I Googled to find install instructions for DNN8 but so far can't find any. I found instructions for earlier source code installs but the DNN8 package is a lot different. Can someone tell me where I can find this information or shed some light on what I have done wrong? I also did a standard install for DNN8 and all the modules are there.
In the root of the source directory there are two solution files:
DNN_Core.sln
DNN_Platform.sln
Open both (two different Visual Studio instances). First build DNN_Platform.sln, then build DNN_Core.sln.
Once you've built both you will not see the module directories in Visual Studio unless you click on "Show all Files" in solution explorer. You will also find them using File Explorer.
Issue : I setup Zend Studio before I installed Zend server and start a important project. Now the PROJECT_LOC for this one project is in C:\Users\Username\Zend\workspaces\proejctname\projectname.
So it's not the end of the world, BUT it is slowing down progress when I have to move the files to the htdocs to test.
I searched online with no luck no how to change it.
If I right click on the project and go to proprieties, then click Resources/linked Resources, I can see it. But if I highlight it the edit button is not clickable. I search for a config file, but was unable to locate the value for PROJECT_LOC.
I have searched all the config files and the internet to no avail. Can I setup another project and import these files thus doing what I need without finding out how to change PROJECT_LOC.
Thanks for any help guys!
I've had the same problem with Zend, several times in fact. I could never figure out how to fix it so I wood have to completely delete the project and re-add it. This would sometimes fix the issue and sometimes not so I just assumed it was an error in the install or on my computer.
I recently upgraded to Xcode 4.0.1 from the last version of Xcode 3x (not sure which). Install went fine and I can open and view all my old .xcodeproj files without problems. All except one!
The error I get inside Xcode is
"The file "GCSCalculator.xcodeproj" couldn't be opened because you don't have permission to view it. To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get info."
Obviously I've checked that and the permissions are exactly the same for all files as the ones in the projects that do open in Xcode. I changed permissions for everyone to ReadWrite just in case, to no avail. I feel I've tried everything obvious and can't seem to find anybody else with the same problem.
Anyone got any ideas about a fix or workaround? Typically it was one of the only projects that was actually completed so its very frustrating!
Thanks.
I ran into the same problem and found that clicking on the project in xcode and then switching the view to standard editor view will let you change all of the project settings. After editing the summary, info, and build settings areas it started working
Click to project-> Build Settings -> Compiler for C/C++/Objective-C -> Default Compiler. Hope it useful :D
