Force 500 error in Laravel - laravel

I'm building my first app in laravel 5.4 and I did a custom 500 error view (resource/error/500.blade.php) and I was wondering if there is any way that I could force the error.
Obviously nobody would want to have this error, but I was just wondering how would it look if it occurs.
Thanks in advance

Add abort(500) snippet somewhere in the flow your testing to view the page.

Try:
App::abort(500);
Optionally, you may provide a response:
App::abort(500, 'What you want to message');

In Laravel, why do I use assertSessionHasErrors() in order to check if there was an error?

In Laravel, why do I use assertSessionHasErrors() in order to check if there was an error?
I used this in my feature testing to make sure there is a validation error and it worked, but I don't get why an error is in a session even though I haven't added anything to the session. Do errors go into the session of a response? Can anyone explain this?
According Lavavel doc:
https://laravel.com/docs/8.x/validation#quick-displaying-the-validation-errors
In addition, all of the validation errors and request input will automatically be flashed to the session.

Error getting valid response from API. Check log file for error details

I cant seem to find the error log of authorize.net api.
I have Laravel application which uses "authorizenet/authorizenet" package and the code where I try to create a customer profile, I get following error:
"Error getting valid response from API. Check log file for error details"
Can anyone tell me whereto find these logs? and what it's name?
I tried in /var/logs folder but i cant seem to find it.
if someone else has this issue, here is the solution.
The authorize.net has changed their endpoints from https://api.authorize.net to https://api2.authorize.net which is one of the possible reasons that you might get this error.
So if you are hardcoding these endpoints in your code then update it to the new one or if you are using library constant for it, same as me:
\net\authorize\api\constants\ANetEnvironment::SANDBOX
\net\authorize\api\constants\ANetEnvironment::PRODUCTION
Then simply update your library by running:
composer update authorizenet/authorizenet
This is how I resolved it and it seems to be the best way so far because it will update their library to take everything up to date if they have changes something else and you started experiencing this issue.
I hope it helps

When my client see this error, he gets hyper.

Is there any solution?

Here is the screen shot of Error.

Looking that screen, I suppose the error is on the instance of the controller (that call the particular action) ... check if is it istantiate proprely. Also check the action calling... I suppose that is here the error..

Codeigniter global error override

Is there a way in Codeigniter to override global errors. For instance if an DB error or PHP critical occurs it wont show the error itself but something like 'Our admin guy is fixing the issue' and the error is just logged and emailed.
Codeigniter lets you handle error messages your way, depending on the HTTP status.
Refer to this documentation on error handling
In addition to #Pos5e5s3dFr3ak's answer, you should handle as many errors as you can manually. For example, if you have a database error, your code should acknowledge (or 'catch') it and perhaps load the appropriate view, or pass it onto a library that will log an email the fault, instead of displaying the intended result.
This method can be used as an alternative, or as an addition to the original answer - sometimes you need not locate the error just by its HTTP response Status Code.
As an example, you may find that the database engine in use is down. If this is the case (you would have to determine if it is indeed down - ie. you are not getting the desired response), you would pass the user on to example.com/error/database, for example.

Magento doesn't save my catalog_product_set, what can I do?

I 've installed magento and it seems to work, but if I want to save a new Catalog_product_set with different attributes then I get Internal Error Message with Status Code 500
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks in advance
cheers tabaluga
Your screenshot (and from the looks of it Magento's error page) clips the edge of the error off. Seeing the rest of the error message might be important. Regardless, it looks like Magento is trying to load a config file w/ simplexml, and cannot find that file.
