I recently upgraded from Joomla 3.6 to 3.7. In doing so, I've lost the options in my Articles. For example, "Images and Links" is not appearing.

I have checked to see if its a backend thing and these are my current settings:

Some things to try:
set error reporting to maximum in Global Configuration
check JavaScript Console for any meaningful errors
try clearing Joomla cache
try clearing your local web browser cache
try an alternative browser (e.g. FireFox if you are using Chrome or vice versa)
try alternative administration template (e.g. Hathor if you are using Isis or vice versa)
try alternative editor e.g. TinyMCE
run a backup and try reinstalling core files via Joomla Update component
upgrade all third party extensions to the latest versions
try disabling third party plugins one by one and check if this makes any difference

My website is hosted on OVH (France), with one SQL database.
I have installed manually PrestaShop from the GitHub folder.
After multiple attempts in installing PrestaShop, I finally reached to have it installed but since I choose to use the demo products (in the installation process and as I am new to PrestaShop), I think obtaining a white page with only the logo is surprising to me (see attachment).
I tried to print the errors switching to True the dev parameters from the file defines.inc.php, but nothing was printed.
Also, I see nothing in the console of the browser.
I suspect there is a conflict with the SQL database, but I don't know what to check.
Would you have any tracks to check what's wrong with my installation ?

A&A
The buttons on the admin panel of my joomla site suddenly wont work anymore,
The dropdown works but when i hit a button it doesnt work.
Almost all buttons, i cant view my articles, categories or menus anymore and a lot of components.
Please help me!
There are two reasons for this problem to happen:
One (or more) core JavaScript files was (were) hacked.
You have recently installed an extension (typically a global system plugin) that created a conflict between JavaScript libraries
Try disabling, from phpMyAdmin, the recently installed plugin(s). Also try overriding all your core Joomla files with a fresh copy of Joomla.
Also make sure you delete your browser cache!
1- Go to yoursite/administrator/index.php
2- In the left side menu, most probably in Maintenance part ... checking joomla is stuck (probably some files damaged)
3- Select reinstall joomla core files.
I have upgraded my Joomla site from 2.5.7 to 2.5.17. Then I installed Attachments package.
When I click article manager or category manager in order to edit an article or category, I see a page with no textarea, no buttons, no menus.
All the page content is this.
I have tried to install new text editors: nothing changes.
I have tried to select "No editor" for text editing: nothing changes.
Try these different steps to solve your issue:
1) First, check to see if the editor plugin is enabled:
Tools -> Plugin Manager. Locate your Editor and ensure it's enabled.
Also check Global Config and make sure default editor is set.
You could also try disabling the package you installed and see if it works afterwards. If not try to disable all the editors only leaving the default of Joomla and check again.
2) Change back to one of Joomla's installed templates and see if the problem remains.
If not, then it is a problem with your new template. There is a possibility of javascript problems.
Sometimes enabling the system plugin 'System - Mootools Upgrade' will help.
Otherwise check with your template provider for possible help.
3) Also turn php error reporting on as it may be this problem:

4) Lastly, I like to replace Joomla!'s editor with the JCE editor which has solved many issues like these before.

You get a page like that when you have a fatal error. You can try disabling the attachments plugin and see if it solves the issue. If not, turn error reporting to maximum or development and see what messages you get.
I disabled PLG_EDITORS-XTD_TOOLTIPS plugin and it my problem solved.
I am using joomla 1.5.I wanted to add some youtube link to the article so i switched to no editor mode and made changes that worked for me.when i turned back to TinyMCE it still shows articles in HTML mode for all articles in the article manager.how do i switch back to earlier no Html simple text edit mode???
problem solved: I disabled No Editor from plugin manager. Now its switched to default editor
I suggest you to upgrade your joomla version as joomla 1.5 has no support and security updates.
download component JCE Editor . install it and make it default
it should fix your problem and it's much more better than tynyMce

I have a joomla 1. 7 website and I have installed a widget kit for displaying a slider with buttons on it. It works fine in the backend, however it does not display on the site.
Is there a reason why widget kit is not compatible with Joomla 1. 7?
Without any details at all, I'd suggest a possible conflict with you chosen joomla template and javascript library(s) like jquery or mootools.
Try one of the simple templates that came with your joomla installation and see if the problem on the front end persists.
Widget Kit is compatible with Joomla 1.7, however as Grag P said, it might possibly be a conflict with another extension using Jquery.
Use Firebug and look at the scripts being loaded in the <head> tags and see if there are 2 Jquery libraries being loaded.
If so then the 2nd one is most likely coming from your template in which case go to your template manager and see if there is an option to turn off Jquery, else if its coming from another extension, try disabling it and seeing if this solves the problem.
Also make sure you have the most up-to-date version of widget kit as Yootheme have brought out a lot of updates in the last 2 months.
