I need to implement an intro/tour in my react native application only when first time using the application.
I need to show a single part to mention what it does and at the same time hide the rest of the screen, like in the image below. So, basically my intro will be a guide on how to use the application each time shows something and hide the rest and we use the button "next" to get through it all.
I've already found this repository https://github.com/FuYaoDe/react-native-app-intro, but that's not exactly my purpose... any help?
So, basically, I need to make a very similar tour guide like this one https://github.com/worker8/TourGuide but in react native application

I am creating a MacOS application to take an audio file chosen by the user and display its sound waves in a timeline. Like the one below.
I have searched Google and Stack Overflow for a few hours and only found IOS examples. Every time I tried to take one and convert it to work with MacOS there were conflicting libraries used.
If you could provide me with some code to get started or a source/article that has information that would be great.
Thanks In Advance!
AudioKit can display waveforms using AKTableView. It is cross platform and there's an example of how to load files into one on of the framework's playgrounds, which is also shown online here:
http://audiokit.io/playgrounds/Basics/Tables/
The code is simple so even if you need to add to it, you can pull the necessary parts from AudioKit and place it in your own project, if you don't want to add all of AudioKit to your project just for this one feature.

Has anyone here tried integrating the Stripe API on Xamarin.Forms? I've been looking through the internet and I can't find any resources about it. I just started training on Xamarin and I don't know much.
It would be very nice if someone could me with this problem. Thank you!
Simply put the Stripe API will work exactly like on any other platform, with the use of Microsoft.Net.Http and making calls to the rest service.
They are components as well, which are free that you can use.

The component is no longer available. Look through this guide to make direct calls to the API. https://xamarinhelp.com/stripe-in-xamarin/

Is it possible to develop a custom Backdrop App for Google Chromecast instead of using Google's Backdrop feature? It doesn't support some features and I have some ideas, so want to see if that is possible. Documentation didn't provide me that information. Thanks.
No, that area is not open to developers to change; users can decide on the source of content there (images from various sources, news, etc) but beyond that, there is no access to backdrop for developers.

Hi I'm creating a website which has many users, I would like add a profile picture for every user and display it. Which is the best way to add either using server scripting (Ruby) or via HTML and java scripts?
One of the easiest way to do this (independently of any technology) is to have your website use Gravatars ("Globally Recognized Avatars") when available. You can then use a simple img to show it in any size you want :
<img src="http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/205e460b479e2e5b48aec07710c08d50" />

How do i get this effect with a menulet application. I just want the window effect nothing else.
My current app looks like this. please if someone could shed some light it would be appreciated. Thanks.
You will need to do custom drawing to achieve this effect, which is not standard in NSWindow. Take a look at this example code: (MAAttatchedWindow) http://mattgemmell.com/source.
This cocoa control exactly what many people here are looking for: https://www.cocoacontrols.com/controls/axstatusitempopup.
I have successfully implemented this without any issues and might provide step-by-step details later. would love to answer any specific questions if necessary.
