Is the Japanese version of Checkout UI not available?
Although it is English on the page of https://docs.connect.squareup.com/articles/square-checkout-overview, the Connect API should also support Japanese, so I would like a Japanese Checkout page?
Square Checkout is not currently available in other languages, but Square is currently working on localization to japanese and other languages.

According to the Progress website, NativeChat is supporting 72 languages including French. However, when we create a new bot, there is only 6 languages offered, and this doesn't include French (nor Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc).
Furthermore, there is warning inviting to choose carefully the bot language as it can't be change thereafter. I also looked at the documentation but there is nothing regarding this setting.
My question :
How can we create a French speaking NativeChat bot?

I have a setup with 2 OpenCart sites. There is an English version of the site, then there is a German version of the site (which was cloned from the English version) on a subdomain.
It seems that the German version is caching English text in the browser somehow. Sometimes when going to the German site, some text shows up in English, clearing browser cache fixes the issue, but then it will come back after a while.
I'm wondering if the English site could be caching some text which then inadvertently shows up on the German site? I haven't seen any German showing up on the English version though.
Also, on the German site, the front end language is set to German but the backend is still set to English, could this be part of the problem?
I'm still a bit new to OpenCart, so I'm not sure how this caching works.
For my masters thesis i need to automatically write the information of different android apps from Google Play into a text file. so im using perl scripting language for this automation. My perl script can write information in that text file which is given in the Google Play website but not in English language. As I am located in Sweden, im getting the Swedish version of those apps information. i tried different ways (by changing the language in setting) to make the default language of Google and Google Chrome in English but still written information are in Swedish version. but my browser and everything is in English. Does anyone can help me in this issue? I cannot use information in Swedish language for further analysis.

How about adding a query string parameter hl=en? Google supports it on some of its websites, chances are that Google Play website supports it too.
If I call Google Play website with:

I got english locales. If I call it with
https://play.google.com/store?hl=de
I got German locales etc.
I looked through MSDN and couldn't find a clear cut answer to this one. So, if i'm building a localized WP7-application, should i conform to phone's language/culture settings or can i roll my own language/culture-switching mechanism inside the app?

This is stated in "Testing Your Application":
When changing a display language, verify that the language of your
application UI automatically updates to that language.
Should this be taken as a "soft" guideline or a precondition for Marketplace acceptance?
ps. I know that this question is pretty academic in nature, because i cannot think of any scenario where standard localization mechanism wouldn't be enough.

To clarify my point: If i build a localized/globalized app, am i required to or should i use the phone's settings or can i implement my own culture switching?
You would have to perform this sort of test on a real device, by navigating to settings > region + language. In this page you can change language and other locale information such as date format.
I'm not sure, but I guess a developer may implement "own" language switching mechanism inside the app. One example is: I have English choosen as a device language but Czech as region I live. I don't want to see whole OS in Czech but I would like to see one specific application (which supports Czech) in Czech language. It means, without switching OS to Czech this cannot be provided. For this scenario, I think, is the best to have a possibility to choose the language in the app as well - so I can stay in English OS language and I can switch this app to Czech.
Can anyone point out an extension where we can add articles in another language, the point is to allow the user to create an article similar to the ones already existent and write them in another language, so that, when the users clicks the flag of that language, the articles (and menu) will switch to those is English.

I have found only extensions that deal with automatic translations or with locale files and stuff like that, and the intended is something really simple, without any of those stuff.
