Xamarin.Forms Translate an object from Master Page to Detail page - animation

I would like to seek advice where to start on how to include animation in my Xamarin.Forms.
I have a contact page(master page) with Image(Photo of the person) in a list form, when tap\click on 1 of the contact, I would like to move(animation, translate) the photo to move to the Center of the device and at the same time load the Detail page(navigate).
If that possible?

You would use Xamarin.Forms Animation classes for this. SImilar to this
var animation = new Animation(callback: d => photoImage.X = d,
start: 0,
end: centerPoint - photoImage.Width,
easing: Easing.Linear);
Then you would have to call the animation.Commit method. But this has many options. Custom Animations in Xamarin Forms goes into more details.

Codename One - how to use onTitleScrollAnimation with BorderLayout?

as the Toolbar or Titlearea on scroll animation feature is referenced in the last section of the Toolbar API, and also in this great video tutorial (starting at about min 45), the animation works well under given circumstances.
I was not able to find any documentation about what these have to be, however I found one circumstance, in which it does not work. Here is a working example to demonstrate the problem:

With my current app and the codesample from the Toolbar API (which is roughly adapted here), I found out that the onScrollAnimation event is not being called, when a scroll occurs inside a BorderLayout. Even when I have a separate container, which is not the contentpane itself, and I set setScrollableY(true); to true, the animation works properly. The animation stops working, when this very container is put into Center of the Form, via Borderlayout. in the example above, the layout is exactly the same, as there are no other components in other areas of course, but it breaks the animation.
How to solve this? In my app, I have the need for a BorderLayout but still want to use this cool feature. Also, this is a very un-intuitive feature, if it works for some, but not all layouts. It should be completely layout-agnostic and work in every case.

The adapter is bound to the forms content pane scrolling so it won't work if you have a border layout in here. In that case scrolling isn't detected because the code just isn't aware of the scrolling. It would need to track the scrolling of any component in the UI to detect that scrolling.

instead of using the onTitleScollAnimation to just add the animation, provide your own scrollable "body" or content container as the first argument, appended by the animation(s).

SAPUI5 Panels - Controlling position of content

I have a number of Panels which, when expanded, show the corresponding questions for that particular 'Category'
The issue I have is, say for example I answer the questions for the 1st panel, the content will scroll down, eventually hiding the panel... fair enough.
However, when I click on the Next Category (Production Area), I need to the page to scroll back up to the first question in the Category, or maybe even just display the selected category at the top of the page.
Is this possible?
Currently, the user has to continually scroll back if when they select the next Category.
You can achieve it using scrollToElement()

Getting page dimensions

On navigating to a new page, how do I get the dimensions of the page - the client/layout area only - exclude the action bar if present.
Will I get the same notification when the device orientation changes?

Every view in NativeScript has a method call getMeasuredHeight() as well as getMeasuredWidth(). You can get the page dimensions like this:

pageWidth = page.getMeasuredWidth()- page.actionBar.getMeasuredWidth();

UI Testing in Xcode 7: Selecting a row number in a UIPickerView / PickerWheel

Is there a way in Xcode 7 UI Testing to select the 3rd row in a UIPickerView?
I have tried various things like this to identify the rows in each picker but all the requests below return 0 found:
XCUIApplication().pickers.element.cells.count
XCUIApplication().pickers.element.staticTexts.count
Any ideas?
Updated: I am aware of adjustToPickerWheelValue method where you can select a particular value you already know, but I am trying to select the 3rd value (index = 4) when I don't know the values that exist in the picker.
You can use -adjustToPickerWheelValue: to select items on a UIPickerView.
When there is one UIPickerView on the screen you can select the element directly, like so.

If the picker has multiple wheels you will need to first select the wheel via it's accessibility identifier, then adjust it.

You may need to adjust the dx value depending on where the picker is.
.coordinateWithNormalizedOffset(CGVector(dx: 0.5,
But 0.5 works if the picker occupies the width of the screen.
With this method you an move the picker on value at a time. Call it multiple times and you get to the value you want.
Its not ideal but it can help if you want to check certain indexes. Hopefully you would have to use it on a picker with hundreds of values ;)

Is that possible to have a sliding panel?

I am developing an application in wp7, the application is already been developed in android and iPhone.
Both uses a component sliding panel as they are default in it, now for the same appearance am supposed to use the component gives the same look and feel.
Is that possible to use any combination of components OR any customized dll available for that component OR is there any alternated equivalent component available for this sliding pannel.

My idea is very simple, just use popup with custom animation.
