I am following the getting started guide in the URL below

I installed all prerequisites.
Using windows 10.
After installation of prerequisites I move to next section “Write your First Application” URL given below

After download “fabric-sample” from git when I try “startFabric.sh” script in “fabcar” subdirectory for launch the network I am encountering an error are show below.
UTC [main] main -> ERRO 001 Cannot run peer because cannot init crypto, missing /etc/hyperledger/fabric/C:/Program Files/Git/etc/hyperledger/msp/users/Admin#org1.example.com/msp folder
If you look at the path of the missing file you'll see it is malformed. It was resolved by issuing an export command before running the startFabric.sh script:
export MSYS_NO_PATHCONV=1
./startFabric.sh

I'm trying to install weblogic server on Centos 7 with following instruction of oracle about console mode. Everything will be fine till weblogic file 's extracting on my computer. I get this message about
display enviroment variable failed
I google it and found xming as solution. But is there any solution to install weblogic without xming.
You need to do a silent install as mentioned. You can find the documentation here.
Basically, you need two files:
A response file
Here, you will set some parameters like ORACLE_HOME, proxy information if needed and installation type, etc.
An oraInst.loc file
In this file, you need to do the following(from documentation):
Replace oui_inventory_directory with the full path to the directory where you want the installer to create the inventory directory. Then, replace oui_install_group with the name of the group whose members have write permissions to this directory.
After doing all of this, you can run the command as follows;
java -jar distribution_name.jar -silent -responseFile file [-options] [()*]
I uploaded my own oraInst.loc and response files here for demonstration. I strongly suggest you to read the documentation though. Good luck.
I try to start opensshd app by following command line: net start opensshd but i encounter below message after press enter in CMD:
The OpenSSH Server service is starting.
The OpenSSH Server service could not be started.
A system error has occurred.
System error 1067 has occurred.
The process terminated unexpectedly.
i install openssh.

I got the similar problem that i cannot startup the "OpenSSH SSH Serve" service after following the instructions in https://hostadvice.com/how-to/how-to-install-an-openssh-server-client-on-a-windows-2016-server/
I later on found out that this is the security problem in the C:\ProgramData\ssh\ssh_host*key files. All the key files in this folder should ONLY be owned by following 2 system users:
BUILTIN\Administrators
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
In the Powershell under the C:\ProgramData\ssh folder, issue following command can list out the owners of the file ssh_host_dsa_key:
PS C:\ProgramData\ssh> icacls .\ssh_host_dsa_key
.\ssh_host_dsa_key BUILTIN\Administrators:(F)
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:(F)
xxdomain\otheruser:(M)
Successfully processed 1 files; Failed processing 0 files
Obviously we need to remove the user "xxdomain\otheruser" from the owner list
Resolution
Updated on Nov 25, 2019: Found out that the OpenSSH-Win64.zip file already contained a powershell script: FixHostFilePermissions.ps1
What you need to do is to run following inside the powershell:
cd 'C:\Program Files\OpenSSH-Win64'
.\FixHostFilePermissions.ps1
And press 'Enter' for each question to update the permission.
just write this command in PowerShell
cd 'C:\Program Files\OpenSSH-Win64'
.\FixHostFilePermissions.ps1
then press enter .
I got this error, and it turned out in my case to be an error I'd made editing sshd_config, so be sure to check this. Spent ages trying to diagnose this.

I got the same error by installing OpenSSH on Windows 7...
Open "services.msc" and try to start the service from there.
If it still doesn't work then you can try to follow the steps in this tutorial:

One important thing: Try to download an older version of OpenSSH

For me the solution was to download and install an MSI from this github repo
I'm installing sonarqube on Windows Server 2012.
I have followed the following steps:
Downloaded sonarqube4.4 and extracted to C:\Sonarqube
Downloaded Java JDK 1.7.0_60 and jre 1.7.0_67 as well as jre7
Installed Windows SDK 7 and .NET Framework 4
Navigated to C:\sonar\bin\windows x86-64 and ran StartSonar.bat as an administrator, this ran ok with no output and Ihad to hot ctrl- Z to break
I then ran \windows-x86-64\InstallNTService.bat as an administrator and I am seeing the sonarQube services was launched, but failed to start.
Not sure what the problem is.
I believe you first ran \windows-x86-64\InstallNTService.bat successfully and then StartSonar.bat unsuccessfully (the inverse order of what you describe).

Windows could not start the Sonar service on Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
In that case, the solution is to change the user/rights to launch the Sonar service: https://qualilogy.com/en/migrate-sonarqube-tomcat-to-windows-service/
Go to the Services window, find the Sonar service, and open the Properties windows to change the user it logs on as to one with sufficient permissions.
I was able to solve this problem by creating a new folder named “Temp” in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\
The Log-File will show only

Cleaning or creating >temp directory C:\Program Files (x86)\SonarQube\sonarqube\temp

The SonarQube service was launched, but failed to start.

Solution:
Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\ and create the directory Temp
2: Set the user rights to full access

I have glassfish v3 on windows 7 installed, but it won't start on 8080. I get typical dead page when I go to 8080 like you would expect if it's not running.
I tried to start it manually.
C:\glassfish3\bin
asadmin start-domain and what i get is "system cannot find the path specified"
I searched hi and low for an answer but most questions involve glassfish not starting because the port is not free. however that's not my issue.
I've tried reinstalling about a half dozen times and even rebooting. nothing changes

Download the zip version here:

Unzip this to c:\glassfish3
This command will work:
C:\glassfish3\bin\asadmin.bat start-domain domain1
Its a configuration issue, when you try to install glassfish server from the installer sans bundled jdk,simply go to "\glassfish3\glassfish\config", set AS_JAVA to jdk home dir in asenv.bat file, re-run the installation, chose custom installation and "configure an existing installation" and you are done.

It looks like you forgot a slash in your command. The error your getting isn't a glassfish error, it's a DOS error.
try:
C:\glassfish3\bin\asadmin.bat start-domain domain1
or
C:\glassfish3\bin\asadmin start-domain domain1
Hi I was facing the same issue. I am able to resolve the same issue by following below steps:
Go to \glassfish\config (Note: In my case it is c:\glassfish3\glassfish\config)
Now open asenv.bat in notepad.
Make the value of AS_JAVA same as JAVA_HOME environment variable.
Now open command prompt and go to the bin folder and run asadmin start-domain domain1.

I am trying to run the JDeveloper Integrated Weblogic server (11.1.1.5) on Windows 7 x64 and keep running into this error from within JDeveloper:

I found this answer:
Domain creation fails after installing on new Windows version (7338577, 7339920, 8654914)
When JDeveloper is installed on a newly released Windows version, it is possible that Jython, which is used by Oracle WebLogic Server's script tool, does not recognize the Windows version and instead assumes that it is running in a Linux environment.
This causes domain creation to fail with the following error in CreateDefaultDomain.log:

execute command ([\'sh\', \'-c\', \'env\']): java.io.IOException: Cannot run /
program "sh": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file /

The workaround is to obtain a patch for jython-modules.jar, or to run on a supported version of Windows.

I'm using JDeveloper 12.2.1.3.0.
Have the same problem, and all I had to to is exit the JDeploper, kill the Java process in the Task Manager, and restarting JDev again.
