Field component not providing 'input.onChange' property - redux-form

on the Redux form docs (http://redux-form.com/6.5.0/docs/api/Field.md/) for Field, it says there is supposed to be an onChange property (props.input.onChange), but my components dont' get provided with any such property.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Your component has those properties, they are not printed because JSON.stringify can't just stringify and output any functions (such as onChange).
What you see running your code are only the properties of your Field (name and value) which are strings and thus can be stringified and printed.
If you want to explore your Field object just use debugger in your component or use breakpoints or simply
console.log(props.input.onChange);

How to pass dynamic ajax-url for vue-select while function called for search event?

Some time before I faced same problem, i made following changes on /node_modules/vue-select/dist/vue-select.js and changes are equals to changes in two files -- /node_modules/vue-select/src/mixins/ajax.js and /node_modules/vue-select/src/components/select.vue,
It has two steps first change $emit.function parameters and register your new variable as props
make search for onSearch:{type:Function,default:function(t,e){}}} and i made it like onSearch:{type:Function,default:function(t,e,url){}}} because this make search function will return three parameters..

now we need to return them using $emit
make a search for this.$emit("search",this.search,this.toggleLoading))} and change it to this.$emit("search",this.search,this.toggleLoading,this.ajaxUrl,this.optionHolder))} this will return four variables making them accessible globally ...
Now register your new parameter in select.vue file by changing following -

How do I auto fill field values in a section of a form that is loaded via ajax in Laravel 4?

I have a section of a form that dynamically loads different sets of fields based on the user's selection in a control. I'm using a javascript event handler to detect when the selection changes, and using AJAX (with HTML payload) to pull in the proper set of fields.
I would like to be able to use Laravel's Form::getValueAttribute() method to automatically fill in the form fields' values in both the static and dynamic form parts. However, the partial view that is loaded by my AJAX call does not have the same instance of the Form class as the view with my main Form, so I can't simply call getValueAttribute() in the partial.
My thought is to make the AJAX call a POST, and serialize the necessary data (a subset of Input::old() or the model data depending whether the page is loaded as the result of validation errors, or an UPDATE request) to send along with the POST so that the HTML fragment I get back has the values set properly.
Is this the best way to get what I want? If so, does Laravel have any tools to help with the serialization of form data? If not, what might be a better approach?
I've found an approach I like better. When the view is loaded normally I use AJAX as usual to load the partial. But when the view is loaded for a validation post-back or for editing, I use Laravel's Views' nest method to nest the partial view containing the proper fields directly into the response. The partial then has access to all the Input and error data I need. The user is still able to change the field set as usual but I put up a confirm prompt for them if they have already set some values in a field set they previously selected. If they decide to proceed anyway, the field set is cleared and a new field set is brought in via AJAX as usual.
My code looks something like this:

Where to define a filter function for a form field in my Joomla component's preferences

I am creating a component in Joomla 2.5. This component has some options that are defined in its config.xml, so they can be set in the preferences of the component. Now I would like to apply a filter to one of these option fields, using the attribute filter="my_filter".
In the source code of JForm I saw the following lines at the very end of the implementation of JForm::filterField():

That's what I needed for using a filter function defined by myself!
I managed to do this for form fields used in the views of my component. I defined the filter function as MyComponentHelper::my_filter(), where MyComponentHelper is a helper class which I always load in the very base of my component. And in the form's xml I added filter="MyComponentHelper::my_filter" to the fields that have to be filtered. However... when I am trying to apply the filter function to a form field in my component's preferences, I am not in my own component, but in com_config instead, so my helper class is not available!
So, therefore, my question: where to define my own filter function in such a way that it can be found and called by JForm::filterField() in com_config?? Help is very much appreciated.
May be it is too late, but this topic is only I found about that trouble. May be my solution will be helpfull to someone.

I had to deal with the same issue today. Here is what I did.
Our form field looks like this:

As you can see we have a filter. We've specified
MyComponentFilterDouble as class and filter as a method of this class.
If you have a look at libraries/joomla/form/form.php in the
FilterField function toward the end you'll see that the code will try
to execute our custom filter. Now here comes the tricky part. How does
Joomla know where our filters are located? Well, it doesn't! We have
to load our filters in advance. JForm doesn't come with a utility
class that could load a custom filter. I've decided to load our
Filters in our model in the getForm function. As you know each model
that extends from JModelAdmin should have a getForm function. This
function makes sure that we are loading the correct form from a .xml
file. So in this function just before I load the form I did:
JLoader::discover('MyComponentFilter', JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR . '/components/com_mycomponent/models/forms/filters');
The discover method will make sure to auto load our class when we need
it. This way it will be available to our form.
And there we go! Now when our model validates the form. It actually
always first performs filtering on the data. Now in our custom filter
we can modify the data and pass it back for validation. It's that
easy!

I think what you're asking about is actually adding custom validation to one of your form fields. If that's the case you actually need to be looking at adding server-side validation in addition to adding configuration. Pay particular attention to the 'addrulepath' in the example under the heading "Using configuration parameters as default value". You'll most likely end up extending JFormRule, of which I've included a very stripped-down example below.

AngularJS: Is there any way to determine which fields are making a form invalid?

I have the following code in an AngularJS application, inside of a controller,
which is called from an ng-submit function, which belongs to a form with name profileForm:

Inside of this function, is there any way to figure out which fields are causing the entire form to be called invalid?
Each input name's validation information is exposed as property in form's name in scope.

The exposed properties are $pristine, $dirty, $valid, $invalid, $error.
If you want to iterate over the errors for some reason:

Each rule in error will be exposed in $error.

For checking which field of form is invalid

this will output the array of invalid fields of the form
If you want to see which fields are messing up with your validation and you have jQuery to help you, just search for the "ng-invalid" class on the javascript console.

I wanted to display all the errors in the disabled Save button tooltip, so the user will know why is disable instead of scrolling up and down the long form.

Not this well formatted, but you will see these things there...
When any field is invalid, if you try to get its value, it will be undefined.
Lets say you have a text input attached to $scope.mynum that is valid only when you type numbers, and you have typed ABC on it.
If you try to get the value of $scope.mynum, it would be undefined; it wouldn't return the ABC.
(Probably you know all this, but anyway)
So, I would use an array that have all the elements that need validation that I have added to the scope and use a filter (with underscore.js for example) to check which ones return as typeof undefined.
And those would be the fields causing the invalid state.
If you want to find field(s) which invalidates form on UI without programmatically, just right click inspect (open developer tools in elements view) then search for ng-invalid with ctrl+f inside this tab. Then for each field you find ng-invalid class for, you can check if field is not given any value while it is required, or other rules it may violate (invalid email format, out of range / max / min definition, etc.). This is the easiest way.

Form select box in Backbone Marionette

I'm trying using Backbone.Marionette to build an application. The application gets its data through REST calls.
In this application I created a model which contains the following fields:
id
name
language
type
I also created an ItemView that contains a complete form for the model. The template I'm using is this:

I am able to succesfully fetch a model's data and display the view.
What I want to do now is populate the select boxes for model-language and model-type with options. Language and type fields are to be restricted to values as a result from REST calls as well, i.e. I have a list of languages and a list of types provided to me through REST.
I'm contemplating on having two collections, one for language and one for type, create a view for each (i.e. viewLanguageSelectOptions and viewTypeSelectOptions), which renders the options in the form of the template I specified above. What I am not sure of is if this is possible, or where to do the populating of options and how to set the selected option based on data from the model. It's not clear to me, even by looking at examples and docs available, which Marionette view type this may best be realized with. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong direction.
In other words, I'm stuck right now and I'm wondering of any of you fellow Backbone Marionette users have suggestions or solutions. Hope you can help!
Create a view for a Select in my opinion is not needed in the scenario that you are describing, as Im assuming that your languages list will not be changing often, and the only porpouse is to provide a list from where to pick a value so you can populate your selects in the onRender or initializace function of your view using jquery.
you can make the calls to your REST service and get the lists before rendering your view and pass this list to the view as options and populate your selects on the onRender function
