Recently I asked a question about implementing HTML into a label and was given a very good answer:
Is there any way I can add HTML into a Xamarin.Forms page?
However I would like to also have some common CSS for the HTML and also have the ability to add this into the back end C# code rather than XAML. Can anyone give me suggestions on how I could do this?
I think your answer is in that linked question : "If you want full-blown html support, then Xamarin forms WebView would be way to go".
Adding CSS is probably easiest to achieve by using WebView.

Is there any way to add a custom button in the tabbar of Xamarin.Forms, like it's seeable on the mock below?
Thanks in advance.
Cue.
You can use relative layout to add the tabs in Xaml,
If you need any coding help let me know I'll help you to design this layout.
I came across this question while looking into implementing a very similar tab bar. There is one other option I've found to do this without writing those hefty custom renders yourself. Check out Sharpnado. It provides a variety of possible customizations for a Xamarin.Forms tab bar.
There is also a blog post on implementing a few options, complete with sample code you can clone.
I cannot for the life of me find where I can edit the CSS of a drag-and-drop template. The Mailchimp knowledge base is useless and hasn't returned any results.
Anyone know where I can do this?
Sadly, I don't think it's possible. You have to export the template as HTML and then re-import as a Code Your Own template.
I once found a webpage hosted HTML editor that optionally included the tags, as highlighted colour coded elements with the tag type, in the (almost) WYSIWYG view, but now cannot find the project anywhere.
I thought it an excellent compromise between WYSIWYG ease of use an markup flexibility.
Does anyone know which editor this was? Or maybe there is more then one editor with this feature?
Here is one that looks promising.

This appears to match your request.
I found one such, and only one. Unfortunately it isn't the one I had seen before and so I'm still looking. They are called What You See Is What You Mean editors - WYSIWYM.

Im developing a site using Joomla, and one of the requirements of the site is that it uses the Phoca Gallery Component and Module. The problems with these is tthat they have a lot of inline CSS styles, which makes them hard to customize. I've solved this removing the style attributes with jQuery, but it doesn't seem like a very good solution.
What could I do to solve this problem?
This is the site: http://aufbauzwei.flavorgroup.eu/joomla15sunprotect/
just update to newest Phoca Gallery, there are used mostly external CSS.
The only way to do this is to do it properly and get your hands dirty. Change the inline styles and add classes to each html element which you can later style via CSS. It's simple enough but time consuming, but if you want to customise the look and avoid jQuery then this is the way forward.
I write in .NET and in classic ASP.
I want to create a modal popup in ASP, like in .NET how the parent page can be disabled and turned a different color.
Is this possible in ASP?
Or is there no easy solution to get this done?
If possible...how?
You're going to use Javascript to make something like that, I'd recommend you use jQuery. There is a lot of prebuilt libraries to help you do that.
For the modal box, you might start with the jQuery Dialog.
Just use a javascript library to do this. jQuery is a popular choice and there a number of plugins to do this.
jqModal

Yes, of course, but if you are writing the Javascript yourself, you can just create a hidden DIV tag that has the same exact page rendered, but with a 15% gray - transparent .gif file that sits on top of what is displayed. Then you change that DIV tag to visable when the Modal dialog is launched, and change it back when it's closed. Simple.
There are some great JS libraries out there that can help you.
I like jQuery and YUI for their ease of use.
Try this link and look around at some of their Panel offerings.. all of which have a Modal setting that will grey out the background.

Good Luck~
" how the parent page can be disabled and turned a different color"
You can use the ibox javascript, I have used it with good results.

I'd put a vote in for stickywin from the clientcide site. Its all Mootools bases and very sweet to use.
