Loading PCL sourced HTML page in Cross Browser project (Xamarin) - xamarin

I am using Xamarin to support
Android
iOS
Windows 8.1
WPF
I can create a PCL project that each of those platforms can see from their platform specific project.
What I want to be able to do is host a HTML page and associated javascript files in the PCL.
All the examples I have seen for loading Local Html files are when there is a copy of the HTML in each platform specific project. I don't want 4 copies of the HTML I want one copy in the PCL.
Can this be done?

We tried to do the same thing a few months ago and as far as I remember we couldn't. The solution for us to make it work was downloading (or extracting in your case) html files to the local directory for each platform using PCLStorage nuget and load directly from local path with custom renderers.
We used custom renderers for each platform for WebView instead of crossx webview. One thing to note that instead of using UIWebView you must use WKWebView if you're targeting iOS9+.
Simply pass your main directory of html files to each renderer and try native controls to use local content. Unfortunately xamarin's crossx WebView does not provide flexible actions when it comes to local content.

How to resize image file on Xamarin.forms. (+ writeableBitmap package can't be added)

I'm making iOS and Android app using with Xamarin.forms. (PCL project)
I need to resize my image file from 'MediaFile class' that is returned from 'CrossMedia.Current.PickPhotoAsync ()'.
What's your best way to do it?
and I have searched long time and noticed that many people uses 'writeableBitmap'.
But this 'writeableBitmap' nuget package can not be added because Xamarin platform is updated?

It's using DependencyService and it works beautifully.
After applied DependencyService, I got a question.
In my thinking, image file is not dependent so why don't we process it just in 'forms' using with SOME image process library in .net? (I'm not a .net developer but I believe that there is many library to process image file)
I suspect that we should have done because we want to use built-in image processing library(like UIKit) so that we could avoid adding new one?
Am I correct?

how to extract the html and css of installed app from mobile

We can get the source HTML, JS and CSS for a website by right-click and getting the source code. Is there any way we can get the same for installed Mobile app?
It is for my app. I developed a UI and installed it in my mobile to test it. Later I made some changes to my UI and couldn't recover my old changes. So I'm trying to recover it from my mobile. Any help would be appreciated.
Change file extension from ipa or apk to zip.
Then extract it somewhere. By skimming through those files you could find those html, js and css files.

Accessing resources XML from another library project in Xamarin.Android

I am trying to create a Xamarin.Android Component to send to the Xamarin Component Store, and I need to bundle my Colors.xml with it, so it is accessible to everyone using my component. I am setting the build action for the Colors.xml tp "AndroidResource".
So I created an Android sample application, when I add a reference to my library project's dll, I am able to use the colors defined, my project compiles and it runs, but I get no intellisense on Xamarin Studio. So that would be a bad thing for anyone using my library, as they would not be able to even see that the colors are available to use. You can see in this picture the colors defined are not available in the suggestions box.
If I add the Colors.xml directly into my project, I get Intellisense support, like this:
Is there a way to achieve the same result above when adding just the dll reference? Did I do something wrong or Xamarin.Android/Xamarin Studio doesn't support this kind of scenario?
EDIT: To be clear, I know this is a problem with Intellisense not being able to pick up the values, but is there anything I can do to make it work?

Images/Imagebuttons in SharePoint sandboxed Webpart

New to developing for Sharepoint Online but I'm familiar with how to deploy/package web parts to both local Sharepoint and Sharepoint Online.
Trying to create a basic webpart that contains numerous image links or image buttons to run various links to different libraries and functions. The webpart will activate fine but what I'm struggling with is getting the images to display once deplyed to Sharepoint Online.
If I include the image in the web part solution and deploy it to the local Sharepoint, the image displays correctly but when packaged and uploaded the image won't display. I've googled a fair bit and tried different ways of adding the image as embedded resources in the Web Part package .wsp but none seem to work.
I know I can only make the web part in sandboxed form for use with Sharepoint online, so I can map to the Sharepoint images folder, and really need the image/icon files to be packaged with the .wsp.
Do i need to include the image files in a specific location within the solution for them to be packaged and referenced?
You need to add the images through a module

Phonegap on WP7 does not load images

I'm starting my first PhoneGap project and am developing using Visual Studio and Windows Phone 7, although I intend on ultimately deploying to iOS and Symbian as well.
However, I'm stuck at Step 1. I have added an image to the www/images folder, and put the following code:

It works fine when I preview it in IE9, but I don't have a Mac to test it on iOS yet.
It's worth noting that the JS files and CSS have loaded fine, it's just any image (whether referenced in CSS or an <img> tag) always comes up broken.
My guess would be the Build Action of your image file is incorrect.
According to http://wiki.phonegap.com/w/page/48672055/Getting%20Started%20with%20PhoneGap%20Windows%20Phone%207#4Reviewtheprojectstructure section 4. You should be setting the Build Action of your images etc to Content which simply copies them into the output project when it is built. They are probably currently set to Resource or None.
To change the Build Action right click a file and choose properties to go to the properties window if you do not already have it open. It is probably then the first property. Just click and choose the correct one.
I'm posting this to questions that I found while trying to find my answer to the same problem. The JS framework I use adds a url query to each image when in a debugging mode (in order to force browsers to reload image, instead of using cached). So, my image "image/background.jpg" would be accessed as "image/background.jpg?d=34342233". But, when running on PhoneGAP for Windows Phone, it won't recognize the image, and thus it shows up as broken. So, I had to turn off debugging for the framework I use, and suddenly the images showed up (still, don't forget to set the Build Action to "Content" as mentioned earlier).
