I have code like this:
app.js
require('./bootstrap');
window.Vue = require('vue');
Vue.component('qrcodes', require('./components/QrCodes.vue'));
const app = new Vue({
el: '#app'
});
Vue.config.devtools = true;
QrCodes.vue
<script>
export default {
data() {
return {
qrcodes:[],
qrcode: {
....
},
}
},
created() {
this.fetchQrCodes();
},
methods: {
fetchQrCodes() {
fetch('/api/qrcodes')
.then(res => res.json())
.then(res => {
console.log(res);
})
}
},
}
</script>
I assume everything should be fine but in the browser developer tools I am getting errors
app.js:47316 GET http://localhost/qrcodes 404 (Not Found)
fetchQrCodes # app.js:47316
created # app.js:47308
app.js:44443 You are running Vue in development mode.
Make sure to turn on production mode when deploying for production.
See more tips at https://vuejs.org/guide/deployment.html
app.js:47317 Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
at app.js:47317
at
And those lines in browser developer tools looks like
methods: {
fetchQrCodes: function fetchQrCodes() {
var _this = this;
fetch('qrcodes').then(function (res) { // this line didnt change after building
return res.json(); // this line gives the second error
}).then(function (res) {
_this.qrcodes = res;
});
}
}
As you can see my fetchQrCodes() and browser does not match, fetching wrong url which I changed. I am running npm run watch tried turning it off and running npm run dev still browser code does not get updated. What could cause that?
EDIT: public/js/app.js is build correct and have the right changes but browser`s app.js does not.

I'm trying to get all user permissions with Laravel for backend and vuejs for frontend.
How can i get this from api to vue? what is the best choice?
I tried to get them with below code but shows me error
In the permissionMixin:
import PermissionDataService from '../../Servieces/PermissionDataService'
export default {
methods: {
checkPermission() {
let permissions;
PermissionDataService.get("user_permissions")
.then((response) => {
permissions= response.data;
})
.catch((error) => {
console.debug(error)
});
return hasAccess;
}
}
}
and that is how i used it in main.js:
import permission from "#/core/mixins/permissionMixin";
Vue.mixin(permission);
window.Laravel = this.checkPermission();
console.debug(Laravel)
Vue.directive('can', function (el, binding) {
return Laravel.permissions.indexOf(binding) !== -1;
});
but always shows me this error:
Uncaught TypeError: can't access property "defaults", a.default.axios is undefined
I am totally sure the endpoint is ok
ANY Idea?
Finally solved.
I had to put
window.Laravel = this.checkPermission();
into one of layout files
I need help in running my Vue spa in the same domain as my laravel app , when running "npm run serve" in terminal I think it's working but when I go to the browser it's refusing connection. I haven't done the backend which I will use sanctum for handling API. Has anybody here have the same project working on like me? love to make conversations to solve this.
Thanks in advance

If I understand you correctly, you want to use Laravel and Vue.js together in the same application folder?
Should be pretty easy then.
First off, build your application with Vue scaffolding for the frontend.
Then, make a route that redirects everything to a single controller method that returns a spa view. (Or use a closure)
In this view, include your app.js as an asset and include the main Vue component (something like <app></app>).
Then build your Vue app. All requests will now be forwarded to the spa view, which includes your app.js, which should bootstrap Vue.
I am using laravel 6.0 and use vue components.After npm run dev I refresh the page and name(data on component) not showing. but after I refreshing page few times It will show up and some time again not showing the data (name) coming from request.
ExampleComponent.vue
<h5>{{name}}</h5>
data() {
return {
name: ''
}
},
mounted() {
axios.get('/api/user')
.then(response => {
console.log(response);
this.name = response.data.name;
});
},
Console log show the data and but sometime it not show in vue component. but some time works fine.In both time console log data shows correctly.
console log screenshot
I have already tried with
mounted() {
let self = this;
axios.get('/api/user')
.then(response => {
console.log(response);
self.name = response.data.name;
});
},
But nothing changed on situations.
It's better you can use created() instead of mounted(). created() fetch data when the component is created. Please have a look - click-here
I am trying to build a carousel using Laravel 5.6 and Vue.js. I can call the data from db, and console.log response.data. It works like expect it to. Script below.
<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#availability").owlCarousel();
});
export default {
props: {
areaId: null,
tutorId: null,
},
data () {
return {
availability: []
}
},
methods: {
getAvailability () {
var that = this;
axios.get( '/' + this.areaId + '/' + this.tutorId + '/availability').then((response) => {
console.log(response.data)
that.availability = response.data;
});
}
},
mounted () {
this.getAvailability();
}
}
</script>
Now I would expect to be able to display the data like
{{availability.monday_begin}}
but it displays nothing, empty tags.
When I add a second .data to response, so change
that.availability = response.data;
to
that.availability = response.data.data;
The data object shows up as undefined in the vue-dev tools, and {{ availability.monday_begin }} throws an error cannot read property of undefined.
I also tried adding a v-if to the template, based on a couple different articles I read, but nothing I tried worked.
Thanks for your help.
I'm writing a Vue app that uses vue-apollo to interact with graphql. I'm wondering if it's possible to stub the graphql requests. I thought this should work:
it('should access a story', function() {
cy.server();
cy.route('http://localhost:3002/graphql', {
data: {
Story: { id: 2, title: 'story title', content: 'story content' }
}
});
cy.visit('/stories/2');
});
Unfortunately, I get an error from graphql complaining that id is an Int instead of an ObjectId. Am I missing something?
The problem was that stubbing fetch requests isn't yet implemented in Cypress (which is what Vue Apollo is using). I ended up following these instructions:
Install github/fetch
Add this to cypress/support/index.js:
.
Cypress.on('window:before:load', win => {
win.fetch = null;
win.Blob = null;
});
Now it works!
I got it working with this package here:
npm i #iam4x/cypress-graphql-mock
Add this line to 'support/commands.js'
import "#iam4x/cypress-graphql-mock";
go to your graphiql playground and download your schema
add task command to 'plugins/index.js' (REMEMBER TO CHANGE PATH TO SCHEMA FILE YOU DOWNLOADED EARLIER)
module.exports = (on, config) => {
on("task", {
getSchema() {
return fs.readFileSync(
path.resolve(__dirname, "../../../schema.graphql"),
"utf8"
);
}
});
};
write your tests with loaded schema
beforeEach(() => {
cy.server();
cy.task("getSchema").then(schema => {
cy.mockGraphql({
schema
});
});
});`
describe("Login Form", () => {
it("should redirect after login", () => {
cy.mockGraphqlOps({
operations: {
Login: {
login: {
jwt: "some-token",
user: {
id: "5d5a8e1e635a8b6694dd7cb0"
}
}
}
}
});
cy.visit("/login");
cy.getTestEl("email-input").type("Max Mustermann");
cy.getTestEl("password-input").type("passwort");
cy.getTestEl("submit").click();
cy.getTestEl("toolbar-title").should("exist");
});
})
Visit the original repo for further explanation as i find it less confusing. The package you have installed is just a working fork of this one:
