Unity Animations on HoloLens not working

I have created a HoloLens app using Unity 3D. In the app I want to show a text canvas with some animation on click of a button. I have done this with Animator control and script to open an Animation state on click of a button. This is working fine when I try on Unity Preview. However when I try the same app on HoloLens emulator or on device the animation doesn't work. The canvas opens up simply without any animation after some delay (I think delay of animation to be completed). This is not the case for Unity Game Preview.
Please let me know what else we do to support Animations made in Unity on HoloLens.
I have fixed the issue. Not sure what was the exact problem but the cube object was mashed off as added some components, which might not actually needed.
Freshly re-designing the cube and animations worked.

rotate gesture in Windows Phone

I want to capture the rotate gesture of an object in my Windows Phone app and animate the object to show that it has roatated.
I saw that WP7 doesn't give this gesture by default and i dint get the same in Toolkit as well. Can anyone help me get started.
You could try using the Multitouch behavior for the Windows Phone.
The tool kit is available here:

Pinch and zoom behaviour for windows phone

Is it possible to create a behavior for Pinch and zoom to Image control in windows phone 8. I am trying to apply pinch and zoom along with rotation to Image in my application. In a forum I found that Gesture listener is deprecated and they are not promoting implementation with gesture. So can any one please suggest an alternative method for me.
If you're targeting only Windows Phone 8 you can use the new ManipulationDeltaEventArgs.PinchManipulation property from the ManipulationDelta event. Instead of using GestureListener/TouchPanel for pinch & zoom you should rely on this new property.

Metro style, how to make my screen compatible for landscape and portrait mode?

I am new to metro style app.I designed a normal page in visual studio 2012 ultimate in landscape mode using only drag and drop tools.I run this page using Emulator. It runs well in landscape mode.but In Portrait mode, the contents of the page is not fitted automatically.Even it is not allowed to scroll the screen to see all the contents in the page.
I want a design fits for all screen resolution and different orientation. what should i do?
If any tutorial available please provide the link.
Are you talking about Windows Phone or WinRT?
Either way, you need to handle the orientation change yourself.

How can I detect landscape orientation in a WP7 template using SketchFlow?

I am using the official Windows Phone 7 SketchFlow template, based on the Windows Phone SDK. Is there any way to detect when the user has clicked the landscape orientation button in the player, and act accordingly? Specifically, I'd like to display completely different views depending on orientation. Thank you!
It looks like the portrait and landscape functionality is implemented with visual states. If you select the correct visual state and make your changes (such as showing different controls) it should work the way you want.
