Missing artifact spring-webmvc:spring-webmvc:jar:4.0.6.RELEASE - spring

I am very much new to the world of Java, Spring.
Building my first Maven project today with loads of issues.
I'm unable to get my pom.xml working.

updated the 4.0.6 to the available version 4.0.3 as per the jars list in WEB-INF\lib folder.
It worked perfect.

Vert.x annotation processor problem with module-info.java

I'm trying to create a new project in Java that is composed by several modules (following the Java Modules concept introduced on Java 9). In one of those modules, I'm trying to use vert.x codegen to generate a service that will be exposed to the other modules.
Now that problem is that when I try to compile the service module I got the following error:
module-info.java:[5,22] module not found: io.vertx.codegen.
For your reference, I will put my module configuration (as stated on module-info.java) and my POM file.

By checking above, I have added the necessary imports in the POM file and add include the vert.x modules as required in the module-info.java.
No my question is, what can I do to solve this compilation problem? Is there anything missing on my POM or my module-info.java?

Spring Boot unable to find jsp files on ElasticBeanstalk AWS

It works good when the application is running from Eclipse. But the problem is starting after i packaging the app to JAR or WAR and running it.
Getting 404 on every pages.

So to resolve the issue i have changed my elastic beanstalk from Java to Tomcat. And now it works with WAR.
Using the Java i was not able to run the webapp

For jar packaging, the jsp files should be in src/main/resources/META-INF/resources/.
For war packaging src/main/webapp/ is good.
Also, I guess with war packaging, you are probably not implementing SpringBootServletInitializer with it's method configure(...) in your config main class.

Spring Boot Application cannot be resolved to a type but I imported it in pom.xm

I have added the spring boot in pom.xml but still it is giving an error.
Can anyone help me.

Your pom looks almost correct, but few things to note
No need to add dependency 'javax.servlet-api', it is available from 'spring-boot-starter-web'
And you probably you may be missing the 'spring-boot-maven-plugin', it is not compulsory but you may want that in your project. Where it provides some easy maven goals for you to run.

if your running eclipse you can generate your .classpath files just as usual
mvn eclipse:eclipse, once done your ide should look fine

Problems when compiling and running a simple Maven project with Spring in JDeveloper 12c

I'm trying to compile and run the first examples of the book "Beginning Spring" in JDeveloper but I'm running with some issues.

JDeveloper marks the following imports with errors of package not found:
import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Autowire;
import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Qualifier;
Of course I can't compile the project since those errors are present.
I've already installed Spring integration in the Updates menu.
In Netbeans 8 and Spring Tool Suite the project marks no errors and compiles and runs fine.
