Spring Boot Application cannot be resolved to a type but I imported it in pom.xm - maven

I have added the spring boot in pom.xml but still it is giving an error.
Can anyone help me.
It is giving error The import org.springframework.boot.autoconfigure.SpringBootApplication cannot be resolved
and
SpringBootApplication cannot be resolved to a type
My pom. xml is

Your pom looks almost correct, but few things to note
No need to add dependency 'javax.servlet-api', it is available from 'spring-boot-starter-web'
And you probably you may be missing the 'spring-boot-maven-plugin', it is not compulsory but you may want that in your project. Where it provides some easy maven goals for you to run.
<build>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-maven-plugin</artifactId>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</build>
if your running eclipse you can generate your .classpath files just as usual
mvn eclipse:eclipse, once done your ide should look fine
then mvn spring-boot:run should set your application running

Intellij / Spring Security - unable to expand - spring-security-oauth2-core dependency?

When I am analyzing dependencies in intelij using Analyze Dependencies.. feature, i am seeing that at one hierarchy i am able to expand spring-security-oauth2-core and I am not able to expand the same at different hierarchy. Why is this so.
Able to expand below -
Unable to expand below -
Seems quite trivial, but if I am looking at a new dependency I would not be able to determine for sure if it's an end-node (i.e has no further deps) until I can find an answer for this Q.
Edit - Below is the pom.xml if some one want to try at there end.

Spring Security Authorization Server (experimental) - Sample projects, from Gradle to Maven (Dependencies)

As recommended here I now want to try the sample projects given in the experimental Authorization Server project.
I use Maven, don't know much about Gradle. I assume, that the samples folder is independent of any other artifact in the Authorization Server project?
I created via start.spring.io the 3 projects, added the missing dependencies manually, and the pom.xml look like this:

Are these pom.xml correct? Is anything missing, are the versions OK to use, etc.?
I want to change my webservice (Spring Boot, REST controllers) from Basic Auth to OAuth2. My webservice is build with Spring Boot 2.5.3 and OpenJDK 15 (might change to 16) and Maven. That's why I use the latest versions in the pom.xml. But sample projects don't specify versions or use older version, that's why I don't know what versions are OK to use.
Is auth-server necessary or can it be replaced with 127.0.0.1?
AS
return new ProviderSettings().issuer("http://auth-server:9000")
->
return new ProviderSettings().issuer("http://127.0.0.1:9000")
RS
issuer-uri: http://auth-server:9000
->
issuer-uri: http://127.0.0.1:9000
Client
issuer-uri: http://auth-server:9000
->
issuer-uri: http://127.0.0.1:9000
Also, at https://github.com/spring-projects-experimental/spring-authorization-server/tree/main/samples/boot/oauth2-integration there are 4 projects.
The README says
Run Authorization Server
Run Resource Server
Run Client
what for is the project authorizationserver-custom-consent-page ?
I'm asking about the versions I use, latest in fact, because for example I need OpenJDK 15 as I'm using """ all over the place in my webservice project (which will be the Resource Server in context of OAuth2). I cannot therefore switch to versions like Java 8 or so, as stated here:
Prerequisites
Git and the JDK8 build.
Be sure that your JAVA_HOME environment variable points to the jdk1.8.0 folder extracted from the JDK download.
I'm not sure if my problems are related to newer versions of dependencies I use.
Meanwhile, with Maven all 3 projects compile and start, but I'm stuck at the login page. After giving the username and password, it remains on the login page. It seems to accept the user credentials, but loads the login page again. If I misspell the username or password, it complains bad credentials. This is with samples from the downloaded sources of 0.1.2.
It is not stated why auth-server has to be used, and therefore I did the replacements described earlier.
What value will be replaced for registrationId in redirect-uri: "http://127.0.0.1:8080/login/oauth2/code/{registrationId}" ?

Missing spring boot dependency 'spring-integration-mail'

In my Spring Boot (2.1.6.RELEASE) project I have added following dependencies:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-integration</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-mail</artifactId>
</dependency>
But still the following is missing spring-integration-mail, should it not be included automatically?
Full pom.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0"

<java.version>1.8</java.version>
</properties>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-integration</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-integration</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-mail</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.projectlombok</groupId>
<artifactId>lombok</artifactId>
<optional>true</optional>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-test</artifactId>
<scope>test</scope>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
<build>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-maven-plugin</artifactId>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</build>
The integration starter only pulls in the spring-integration-core jar; otherwise you would have many unnecessary jars on your classpath, slowing your application startup.
The mail starter does not know anything about spring integration; it is for when you want to use mail without spring integration
You need to add other integration modules manually:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.integration</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-integration-mail</artifactId>
</dependency>
The version will be managed for you.

I can't get springboot devtools to work

I'm using STS 3.8.4, I've placed the spring devtools dependency on my pom.xml, I tried to run my springboot project on the IDE, went to a page (template using thymeleaf) and tried to modify something on the template, I hit refresh but nothing happens. Is there any other configuration needed? I also tried setting thymeleaf caching to false but still no luck. Below is my pom.xml.
