current page refresh problem in framework7 - caching

Framework7 version: Framework7 3.1.1
I am using component template
I tried solutions but current page is not refresh
Solution 1:
app.on('pageInit', function (page) {
if (page.name === 'single-question') {
var mainView = app.view.create('#single-page');
mainView.router.refreshPage();
}
when I console page name and click to open single-page it returns “null” and then app is not working without refresh.
Solution: 2
router.navigate(router.currentRoute.url, {
reloadCurrent: true,
ignoreCache: true,
});
But I got error: “Uncaught (in promise) ReferenceError: currentRoute is not defined”
I aslo try
Cache:false,
cacheDuration: 0,
template7Pages = false
but still facing same problem.

I think you need to refresh page by this:
self.app.router.navigate(app.views.main.router.url, {reloadCurrent: true});

You can refresh the whole page using this
setTimeout("location.reload(true);",1000);

Can't download file with open bootstrap Modal

I have an AngularJS front-end that opens a Bootstrap Modal that has a button on it. When this button is clicked it calls a Web API method on the server that generates an OPEN XML Word Document as a stream and returns the file to the client. I have several files downloading successfully in IE where I see this:
However, for the file I'm trying to download with the open Modal I never see the above image. It's not the file itself because it downloads successfully when I try it without the open Modal. Also, I don't see any errors reported in IE Dev Tools. I don't think it's the code that generates the streams because the same code generates other files successfully. I also tried closing the Modal before downloading but that didn't work either. It's almost like the Modal is "blocking" the download.
Here is the Modal definition:
var isOUOModal;
var isSubmitItem = false;
var openSignificanceModal = function () {
return $modal.open({
scope: $scope,
templateUrl: './app/oa/significance_modal.html',
controller: SignificanceModalCtrl,
keyboard: false,
backdrop: 'static',
resolve: {
item: function () {
return $scope.item;
}
}
});
};
var SignificanceModalCtrl = function ($scope, $modalInstance, item, $window) {
$scope.cancel = function () {
$modalInstance.dismiss('cancel');
};
};
I seem to be out of ideas at the moment so any assistance is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete
I was able to determine the cause of the problem here. It had to do with the way I was calling the Web API Method. I was using an AJAX JQuery GET call. Instead I had to do something like this:
var url = url;
window.location.href = url;
When I changed the way I was calling the Web API method I saw the stream returned to the client as expected.

when refreshed with new options, kendo popup window in iframe mode does not fetch the new url

EDIT: I have abandoned the conditional structure and just create the window fresh each time. That works. Still wondering whether refresh() works with urls though.
I have a conditional structure that resembles this one:
What is the proper way to load new content into a kendo window?
If the kendo window already exists, refresh() the window rather than create it anew.
The difference is, I'm using an iframe with url.
The problem: I set a different query string with setOptions before invoking refresh(), but the original url is being requested from the server again.
if (!kwindow) {
kwindow = $("#messagewindow").kendoWindow({
iframe: true,
width: "400px",
height: "600px",
title: "original title",
content: "foo.htm?id=1",
type: "GET"
}).data("kendoWindow");
}else {
kwindow.setOptions({
iframe: true,
type: "GET",
title: aDifferentTitle,
url : "foo.htm?id=2"
});
kwindow.refresh();
}
kwindow.open();
I know the the setOptions method is passing the options to the kendo window because the titlebar of the window correctly shows aDifferentTitle. However, looking at the network traffic monitor, the url requested from the server is foo.htm?id=1 but it should be foo.htm?id=2.
I cannot see what is wrong with my code and would be grateful if someone could point out the error to me.
The answer you were looking for was
kwindow.options.content.url = url;
Then the refresh icon / methods will work on the new url
To refresh from different URL you need to pass this through an option object to the refresh method (you do not need to use setOptions). Here is snippet from the documentation:
var windowObject = $("#window").data("kendoWindow");
windowObject.refresh("/feedbackForm");
windowObject.refresh({
url: "/feedbackForm"
});
I used the following and it seems to work in an MVC project:
window.setOptions({
title: "New Title"
});
window.refresh({
url: "/ControllerName/Action"
});
window.open();

How to reload twitter button?

For ajax pages I call:
twttr.widgets.load()
but never happens, it doesn't reload twitter button.
I tried also with
twttr.widgets.load("nameDiv")
but I get this error:
TypeError: Object nameDiv has no method 'getElementsByTagName'
What am I doing wrong?
I solved with this solution (jQuery):
function reload_twitter_button() {
$('.social-tw').html('');
$('.social-tw').html('Tweet');
// refresh the widgets
twttr.widgets.load();
}
I had the same issue. In my case, the page wasn't loaded before the load call was made. Wait for document ready to fire with:
$(function () {
function loadWidgets(){
twttr.widgets.load();
}
loadWidgets();
});

ColorBox JQuery Form Plugin Post To Same ColorBox

I have been trying for two days to get ColorBox to return post results back to the same open box but it just will not do it.
I am using Jquery Form Plugin to Post from a ColorBox. It seems to work in IE 8, but not Safari or FireFox.
In IE 8 it returns the result from the post page "action" and returns the result in the same ColorBox but in FF and Safari it closes the box and sits on the load page (i.e. process1.php)?
I have a page say "process1.php" which loads the ColorBox onLoad (it does this no problem)
Load Page ColorBox Code For process1.php:
var $j = jQuery.noConflict();
$j(document).ready(function() {
$j.fn.colorbox({
href:"process2.php",
escKey: false,
overlayClose: false,
width: "60%",
height: 350,
title: "Process Secure Order",
open:true
});
});
Upon Page Load it will load the "process2.php" displaying a form for the user to submit data.
This is my JQuery Form Plugin Code:
var $j = jQuery.noConflict();
$j(document).ready(function() {
var options = {
beforeSubmit: showSpinner,
success: showResponse,
//resetForm: true,
timeout: 3000,
target: '#output1'
};
function showSpinner() {
$j('#sterms, #accept, #decline, #side-cart').hide();
$j('#working').show().html('Please Wait');
return true;
};
function showResponse(){
$j('#working').hide();
$j('#result').show();
return true;
};
// bind form using 'ajaxForm'
$j('#secure_process01').ajaxForm(options);
});
It posts fine and then just tries to reload the same page with out the ColorBox opening on Load.
It has me stumped why it works in IE and nothing else, any help would be appreciated.
Using JQuery 1.5.2 (JQuery Form Plug In is not working with anything higher has permission issues)
Reference For JQuery Form Plugin http://jquery.malsup.com/form/#ajaxForm
This issue has been solved.
It turned out that the Jquery Form Plugin did not like the 1.6.1 JQuery version so I did the code using Jquery Post and it worked in all browsers.
ColorBox plugin big rap, great and easy.

JQuery UI Tabs - loading tab with AJAX is 'breaking' a plugin

I have page that creates a table: http://gupii.co.uk/rap/weekTable.php and I'm using a plugin to add a filter functionality: _http://gupii.co.uk/rap/js/mylibs/tablefilter.js
In weekTable.php:
var theTable = $('#weekTable')
$("#filter").keyup(function() {
$.uiTableFilter( theTable, this.value );
})
This works fine when your directly on the weekTable page, but when I load the page into a JQueryUI tab and try and use the filter I get this error:
Uncaught TypeError: Object function ( selector, context ) {
// The jQuery object is actually just the init constructor 'enhanced'
return new jQuery.fn.init( selector, context );
} has no method 'uiTableFilter'
Whats going on here, why am I getting this error?
The page I'm trying to load into is _http://gupii.co.uk/rap/guilda.php (tab:This Week) if it helps
(apologies for posting more links than I should but I thought it would be helpful in diagnosing the problem)
Try this:
$("#filter").live("keyup", function() {
...
