VMware Horizon View Client Dual Monitors - view

I am trying to get the Horizon View Client to work with dual monitors on a Chrome Box. There are no options in the Horizon View Client to turn on dual monitors, only to change the screen resolution. I am struggling to find any sources online about the issue as well. I am running VMware 4.7 which seems to be the newest on Chrome OS. Has anyone been able to accomplish this?

With the multiple monitor feature, you can extend a remote desktop to one external monitor.
About this task
To enable the multiple monitor feature for Horizon Client, you install a helper extension and enable Unified Desktop Mode on your Chromebook.
You must install the helper extension to make the remote desktop window display correctly on an external monitor when the Chromebook display and the external display have different width-to-length ratios.
Procedure
Log in to your Chromebook.
Download and install the VMware Horizon Client Helper extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Open a browser window on your Chromebook and type chrome://flags in the URL bar.
Scroll down to Unified desktop mode and tap Enable.
Tap Restart Now to restart your Chromebook and make the change take effect.
What to do next
After your Chromebook restarts, you can open the Chromebook Settings and tap Display settings to configure Unified Desktop display options.
To extend a remote desktop window to the external monitor, tap the Maximize button. You can tap the Restore button to make the remote desktop window go back to the Chromebook monitor.

Show Firefox OS devtools on Firefox Developer Edition 'desktop'

I've an iMac with OS X Yosemite v.10.10.3. I use Firefox Developer Edition 40.0a2. I've a ZTE Open C (FR version) with Firefox OS; Boot2Gecko 2.1.0.0-prerelease (B2G OS).
What I'd like to do is the following: I've a basic webpage (mostyl HTML, CSS and JS) opened in my browser on my Firefox OS phone. I'd like to get the devtools (Cmd+Shift+i) and be able to edit that webpage with my Firefox Developer Edition browser on my iMac.
I've already tried these things:
Use webIDE.
Follow this potential solution.
Connecting a Firefox OS device.
WebIDE Troubleshooting.
Comment déboguer facilement du web y compris sur tablettes et téléphones—french article.
With webIDE, I can build a new app for Firefox OS (with or without a base theme) and I can use the devtools to inspect the DOM and stuff like that. I just want to achieve the exact same thing but directly on my desktop computer.
Do you have any clue?
Feel free to ask me if you need more piece of informations. ;)
Current status
When I launch the Firefox OS browser app, I can inspect (via the devtools) the homepage (DOM stuff, etc.). But when I load another webpage (Google for example), I can't inspect the DOM. Any idea about that?
I often get this message: http://puu.sh/ir2Ju/32563e51bc.png when I switch to several apps I want to debug.
If I understand correctly, you're trying to connect the Firefox Developer Edition WebIDE on your desktop to a tab that is open on your Firefox OS phone. Something like this?
If that's right, once you connect to your phone in the WebIDE, you should see a list of open browser tabs at the bottom of the "Open App" menu, which is in the top left of the WebIDE panel.
When you connect your phone, you have to accept remote debugging.
Then on the left of the window, you should see a dropdown menu with the apps that you can debug. By default, you can only debug unprivileged applications.
Click on the app, the you want to debug and in the middle of the screen click on the "wrench". It is the button to activate debugging.
Now the complicated part. In order to debug privileged apps such as the web Browser. You have to root your phone and change some preferences. To check that you have a rooted phone. Click on the runtime menu and then runtime info.
If your adb is in root mode, then you can press the button to request higher privileges. You can also do that by hand.

Using a real device
On your computer, enter the following command in Terminal/console to enter your device's filesystem via the shell:
adb shell
Your prompt should change to root#android. Next, stop B2G running using the following command:
stop b2g
Navigate to the following directory:
cd /data/b2g/mozilla/*.default/
Here, update the prefs.js file with the following line:
echo 'user_pref("devtools.debugger.forbid-certified-apps", false);' >> prefs.js
After you've finished editing and saving the file, start B2G again using the following command:
start b2g
Exit the android filesystem using the exit command; this will return you to your normal terminal prompt.
Next, reconnect to the App Manager and you should see certified apps appear for debugging.
When this is done, you should see the application "Browser" in the list of available apps for debugging. At the same time, you should see all other application of your phone available as debugging.

Unable to access localhost from x-ms-webview

I have this code in my WinJS default.html:
<x-ms-webview src="http://localhost/"></x-ms-webview>
<x-ms-webview src="http://display/"></x-ms-webview>
<x-ms-webview src="http://192.168.1.2/"></x-ms-webview>
display is defined in the hosts file:
127.0.0.1 display
and 192.168.1.2 -- the one that is successful -- is another computer on the network.
This is in my appx.manifest:
display and localhost successfully load in IE on the desktop and metro.
My OS is Windows 8.1 Enterprise. I have also completely disabled the Windows Firewall and this has had no effect.
What else can I do?
Microsoft blocks connections to the local machine except while running from the Visual Studio debugger.[1]
There is, however, a workaround tool. Quoting from this post on an MSDN blog:
Immersive applications (and IE11 on the Desktop) run inside isolated processes known as “AppContainers.” By default, AppContainers are forbidden from sending network traffic to the local computer (loopback).
[...]
I have built a GUI tool that allows you to very easily reconfigure an AppContainer to enable loopback traffic. This tool requires Windows 8 and runs on the .NET Framework v4. When launched, the utility scans your computer’s AppContainers and displays them in a list view. Each entry has a checkbox to the left of it, indicating whether the AppContainer may send loopback traffic. You can toggle these checkboxes individually, or use the buttons at the top to set all of the checkboxes at once. Click Save Changes to commit the configuration changes you’ve made, or click Refresh to reload the current configuration settings.
The aforementioned standalone tool is available from here.

How to hide flashes on a touch screen?

I'm developing an Adobe Air application for Windows which makes use of a touch screen. When I touch the screen, both on the Windows desktop and within my app, there is a circular flash at the touch point.
How do I disable this, so that there is no visible indication of the touch point, other than that provided by my app? Is does not seem possible to disable this in the Windows touch settings, and there is no mention of visual feedback that I can find in the air API.
Try this...it worked for me on a win7 system.
OK,--Click Start, type in gpedit.msc and hit enter. --Click through
User Configuration --Administrative Templates -- Windows Components --
Tablet PC -- Cursors. --Double click on "Turn off pen feedback" and
select Enabled to enable the filter that turns off the ripple. Do this
not just for User Configuration but repeat the process for Computer
Configuration to make sure it is disabled for everyone using the
workstation

Kiosk mode AIR desktop application

I am developing a photo capturing kiosk application on AIR as3 for Windows Desktop.
I have set the stage display to FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE and that works fine. (I have also hid the Start Menu and Task Bar)
The problem is if there is any pop-up like Windows Update or Team Viewer connection etc. it comes to the top in front of my application and then people are able to minimize my application and breach into my windows computer.
Can I do anything to make sure that my application ALWAYS STAYS ON TOP of all other messages, programs and applications ?
