I am getting DOMException: "The operation is insecure." error in the console from my website (using Vue). It only happens when it's hosted on github pages but it it doesn't error when it's being run locally.

TL;DR: This isn't a Vue issue: you cannot programmatically alter the contents of a form input through the DOM.
Input file fields are more rigorously controlled by the browser DOM codes because of decades of exploits. In this case, you are not allowed to fill in the contents of the file form automatically (programatically), the user must do it manually through the selection trigger.
This isn't a Vue thing, it is an HTML/DOM security thing to prevent scripts from triggering uploads. Someone with more knowledge can give a better answer, but I believe that is the basic issue.
Instead of trying to pre-populate the form input, I always provide a simple hyperlink to the file just below the input form to allow whatever access was intended to the existing file.

I've added Roxy Fileman to my project and tied it in to CKEditor. It's a standard Durandal project with an MVC controller for routing and a web api controller for ajax/json data calls.
A typical working URL for a web api call in my app is http://localhost:63093/api/DurandalApi/getAssessmentQuestionnairePushMenu?id=1
When I try and upload a file from within CKEditor, I get:

If, however, I directly go to http://localhost:63093/fileman/index.html?type=image&CKEditor=ckeditor&CKEditorFuncNum=1&langCode=en in my browser, the file upload works perfectly and I can then browse to the image from FileMan inside CKEditor.
The network tab in chrome dev tools indicates that the successful upload is done using this URL: http://localhost:63093/fileman/asp_net/main.ashx?a=UPLOAD which is significantly different to the one that CKEditor attampts to use, but that may be because in the second example, index.html is already loaded?
I'm not completely up to speed with what's going on, but the fact that the same URL works perfectly outside of Durandal if I go directly to the URL seems to indicate the FileMan plugin is working just fine and all permissions are set accordingly. Furthermore the CKEditor config is also fine as it can see the images I upload in the directory, but for some reason it's unable to "post" from within CKEditor (which is embedded in a standard Durandal view).
I'm trying to read up on routing to see if I need to do some kind of exception mapping in Durandal to tell it to let the 3rd party .ashx handler deal with the POST request and I'm not even sure if this problem is indicative of Durandal getting in the way or something else. Any suggestions gratefully received!
Ah. All has become clear. This is a half and half answer really as it doesn't really solve the problem, but equally the problem doesn't really exist!
The issue is that Roxy Fileman does NOT use the CK Editor inbuilt "upload" tab that is in the popup. It expects the user to "browse server" only and use the "add file" link in Roxy instead.
I was confused by the instructions, but now I understand!
I have a Google Doc spreadsheet, which I created a native Form for. I copied the form code, and integrated it into my own page here.
This form was working until I gave the website owner permission to view the spreadsheet.
Since then, when we hit submit, it takes us to the native form page, and does not insert form data into the spreadsheet. (You're welcome to test the form.)
Should providing viewing permissions to the spreadsheet break my own version of the form?
Did you set permissions via docs.google.com? If so then no it should not have changed anything. I got all the way through the form to "Attending
Your response has been recorded." Is this what you are getting as well or do you have a backend error?
If it is not a backend error and I was able to get somewhere you couldt I would suggest clearing your browser chache and possibly resetting your router as sometimes they hold a cache of older versions of a website.
Did the current form of yours manage to work this before? I mean. It is shown that in the native form the questions are text boxes. While in your GUI form, it had radio buttons and check boxes, since you are calling the native post back url?
My understanding is that the AjaxFileUpload object uses an iframe to upload files. A postback occurs, but no other controls are posting back - at least that is what it looks like to me as I cannot access any other controls' data.
The purpose of the app is to allow the user to upload a file. It will then modify the contents of that file and save the results to the server. The problem is that it needs some extra information to make the modifications, and therefor needs the information that the user entered elsewhere on the page.
The only solution I have been able to come up with is to do a postback every time one of those other controls is modified, which affects the apps responsiveness. I have been looking for a couple of days for another solution.
Does anyone have any ideas? The best case solution would allow me to access all of the data I need when the AjaxFileUpload control does a postback.

I am aiming to create a payment module. Its users shall be redirected away from the site's URL in order for the transaction to be processed by a third party at a different URL. I would then like customers to be redirected back to a generic 'success' page that notifies them the order was a success. I have tried redirecting to the default success page (checkout.thankyou.php), but I get lots of errors; all the constants etc. that the application requires have obviously been lost during the redirect.
I would like to be able to retrieve the theme currently enabled in the configuration and use it to insert some basic HTML into the view. I would also like to access the database to perform some queries.
Can anybody advise? I am very stuck, and cannot find anything useful in the documentation! Thank you.
Can you be more specific about what type of information you want in your success page? If you just want basic HTML, then there's no reason you can't just write a basic Joomla article and redirect to that instead of trying to redirect to a VM partial. Again, if it's just basic HTML (no data from the transaction), then you can simply use a code inspector (like FireFox Inspect Element) to track down the CSS classes you like from the template and simply use them in your Joomla article to make it look like the VM template. You can find most of them in components/com_virtuemart/themes/default/themes.css.
If you need to display actual transaction data in your Thank You message, be prepared for a bit more work. You're probably going to have to write a cookie containing the record data BEFORE it gets sent offsite, and then read the cookie just prior to rendering the Thank You page.
The project I'm working on is using the Java EditLive! rich text editor. I've been trying to make the EditLive form post via ajax, but am having some problems using IE8. Here are the steps we're taking:
Load the main page
The user clicks a link and the EditLive applet is loaded and attached to the page via ajax
The user finishing editing their document and clicks the submit button
The form posts via ajax (we're using jQuery.post())
The EditLive section is reloaded and the EditLive content is correct.
The form immediately posts again
The EditLive content is back to being blank.
Unfortunately (for debugging reasons), this is not happening in FireFox - there is only a single form post and the values are saved correctly.
From what I can tell debugging this in IE8, it looks like the submit event is getting called twice with 2 different forms. My thought is that the applet isn't getting destroyed correctly, though I've tried everything in my power to destroy it.
So I was wondering if anyone has any experience successfully submitting EditLive data via ajax? Or maybe this is just a limitation to the product?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I know this is an old issue but you likely want to look at the autoSubmit property of EL:

I suspect that by using an AJAXy submit process this is somehow causing you issues with EditLive and its standard behavior. I would try turning off autoSubmit and grabbing the content yourself in your jQuery posting process.
