Branch.io - Appending Query Parameters - url-parameters

Trying to append some query parameters to links created via Branch.io, but I can't figure out how to do this in the dashboard. I see from https://docs.branch.io/pages/links/integrate/ that the following is possible.
Short links can have additional data appended to them
e.g. dynamic link https://example.app.link/fzmLEhobLD?content_id=123
Append query strings https://example.app.link/fzmLEhobLD?$custom_data=123&hello=world
Is there a way to do this via Quick Links in the dashboard?
I need to create the link here to test that my Android and iOS apps can read the parameters from the link and take the user to the appropriate page, or redirect the user to the appropriate page on the website - and then bulk create similar links with the query parameters varying (either via the dashboard or the HTTP API).
Have already checked out the following - Deep link with variable query on branch.io - but this didn't seem to address the issue.

When creating a quick link under configure options, you can select the deep linking tab and click on the "+ more data" button which will allow you to add parameters to the quick link.
adding parameters to quick link

You cannot add query params in the dashboard, but you can add link data in the Link Data section. (date of the screenshot: Jan, 2021)
If you need links for different purposes, then you should create multiple links.
On the other hand, if you only need to vary one parameter, then you can reuse one link by passing a different query parameter. For example, you can create a Quick Link to add a user to a user group that looks like this - myapp.link/add, That is a Quick Link, and you can set its params in the Link Data section (e.g. set key type to value new_users
Then, on the backend (or wherever you want to "generate" links), you reuse that one link like this:
myapp.link/add?code=a1 this is inviting user L to group Y
myapp.link/add?code=b2 this is inviting user M to group Z
In your app, you can access both the code param (from query param) and the type param (defined in Link Data) in the same way, usually through a data Map.

How to expose product data to Policy List on SPCRM

On SPCRM I'm trying to expose Product Name on the Policy List page, inside the column called: Insurance Type.
Using inspect and console tool I could not locate the missing data
I am logged in as this user:
https://spinsurance.admin.kademi.com.au/manageUsers/116783806/#summary-tab
Policy List page:
https://crm.spinsurance.co.nz/leads/?query=&leadType=active&from=0&size=100
The product data is only exposed once you click a policy (under Insurance Type section):
example: https://crm.spinsurance.co.nz/leads/148615383/
I would like to know where / how I can update the lead/policy query to also include product data (Insurance Type) within the Policy list page.
OK, so assuming you have a custom field on your journey to hold the insurance type, similar to this example which has a field called "claim_recordId"
Then the JSON response on the leads page will include that in the fields object, eg:
You can then customise the JS for the leads page to show that field in a column

Where can I find sold item notes in the Square API?

I'm trying to create a report to pull my Square POS transaction data into Excel through Power Query. Basically, I want the information available in the standard "Items Detail CSV" report found in the Square Dashboard, but connected to Excel so I can build custom reporting and update it any time with a refresh.
I can connect to the Square data in Excel no problem. What I'm having trouble with is finding the right data, specifically the notes the merchant can enter in during the time of sale about the item. We have several items that will come up as "Custom Amount" where we enter additional notes about the item, and I can't find the notes field through the API.
After looking through the documentation, I've tried two main queries:
The Transactions List from v2:
https://connect.squareup.com/v2/locations/{location_id}/transactions
The Payments List from v1:
https://connect.squareup.com/v1/{location_id}/payments
The Payments List includes the v1PaymentItemization data type, which should include the notes field defined as "Notes entered by the merchant about the item at the time of payment, if any." I assume that's what I'm looking for.
(Link to documentation: https://docs.connect.squareup.com/api/connect/v1#type-v1paymentitemization)
However, I cannot find the notes field anywhere in my pulled results. There are no error messages, and I see every data field listed in the v1PaymentItemization documentation except "notes" in my query results.
Edit: The notes we're using are on individual items, not the payment as a whole. This fits the description of V1 List Payments -> PaymentItemization -> notes. I did check the tender notes as mentioned in the comments, but this was not what I'm looking for. Until now, I wasn't aware we could make a comment on the transaction as a whole, as opposed to individual items. The individual items notes would be more helpful anyway.
Either way, I didn't find the tender notes in the pulled data either. Most of the fields are there in the data pull, but not notes, v1TenderEntryMethod, and a couple of others. There's actually more data available in the standard dashboard reports than is actually pulling from the API.
I do realize a workaround is to export the Item Detail CSV report from the Square Dashboard, and then manipulate the data in Excel from there. I could even have a connection to the folder or file where I save my exports. It's just not as smooth as the desired result of opening Excel, setting my parameters there, and clicking refresh to get the data and formatted report all in one place.
Thanks
Second Edit: In the POS, I'm entering an amount which shows up as Custom Amount in the itemized list for the sale. I then click on the Custom Amount to add a note to it and specify what the item is (e.g., "Lamp"). That note is applied to a single item, and there may be several items per transaction that have these notes added to them which would otherwise only show as "Custom Amount" on a report or receipt. We do this because we sell several items that are not standard inventory items, but we do want to keep track of what we've sold.
I can see these notes for each item in the standard reporting, so I know the data is entered and saved correctly. However, I can't find the note field when I pull from the API. I see all of the other itemization fields (i.e., name, quantity, item_detail, itemization_type, etc.), but not the note field.
I'm getting these results with a simple /v1/payments pull with no parameters or filters.

Customize Data Studio reports with different filters for different users

I have many end users for my reports. Some of them want to look at all website data, some just section A, some section B, etc. For my own sanity and not having to create the same report over and over with different filters, I'm wondering if there's either:
A way to provide a link to a report where the link tells data studio what filter to apply to the report
A way to filter the report based on the user who's logging in.
I have the impression that neither of these is possible, and it seems like people are reluctant to have one dashboard that they have to proactively filter for their section (I'm still going to try that). But I'm hoping that there's perhaps something I didn't know about.
This is possible using Custom bookmark links (doc). The Drill down table example (doc) shows how you can create a table with records linking to a second page of the dashboard with different filters. You could use this to create filter pre-sets for different users groups.
This is currently not possible.

How do you create a report (rdlc) that shows 1 record per page

Having some trouble getting this to work... I basically want the report to look similar to:
The way I remember doing this in the past was by creating "page groups" in the report wizard. However, I believe that was in VS05, and now the report wizard is very different in VS10. It now has column groups and row groups but no page groups, and I can't see how to get this to work without the wizard either. If tried looking for a tutorial or example but haven't had much luck. Also, the site 'gotreportviewer.com' is pretty terrible and has not been much help.
To create the effect of one record per page means you need to set a group element to the report. For instance assume you have a database table called "Login" and you wanted to group by a person's login name. Here is what you do:
First add a table to the report like so:
The table can be found in the "Toolbox" on the left hand side of VS2010. Once the table is added you will want to add a group to this table:
After this you will want to go to the properties of the group:
Here you simply can set a page break between each instance of a group, in addition, this will give you a "one record per page".

MS CRM Save + Copy as new (Custom Entity)

I have a custom entity in Microsoft CRM (4.0). The user has to input records however usually they have a batch of 20+ records that are almost the same apart from 2 or 3 fields which need changing. I know I need to write some custom code to enable this functionally. However can anyone recommend any methods to do this.
Ideally there should be a button that will save and create a copy as a new entity.
My Current way of thinking is to pass all the details as part of the URL and use javascript to strip them out on the page load event. Any ideas welcome.
Thanks
Luke
I found the answer here:
http://mscrm4ever.blogspot.com/2008/06/cloning-entity-using-javascript.html
I've used it and it appears to work well.
Since there are numerous fields, but only certain fields values are different, then i am thinking to set the default value to all the fields, so that users just need to alter those values when needed.
In my approach, i will hook a javascript function on load of the form data entry screen and use XmlHttp approach/Ajax approach to hook to the custom web service to pull/retrieve the default values of each fields. Or you can set those values at the javascript function itself, but the drawback of this, it's difficult to customize later. So i will choose the approach to hook to the custom web service and retrieve those value from some application parameter entity.
Your idea of providing a "clone" button is also a great idea, which means that it will duplicate all the attributes of the previous record, into a new record, so that it will save time for data entry person to customize the different value
EDIT
Since you would enter records in batch mode, how about customizing .ASPX screen to enter records. By customizing through .ASPX screen, you can use a tab , so that users can browse through tabs, to customize the value/attribute of each record.
There will be a "save" button as well as "clone" button to clone some common attribute or value.
I would create a custom web service that would accept the entity type and the ID of the record I'm cloning. Your "Save and Clone" button would call the service, and the service would handle the details of retrieving the current record and deciding which fields to set on the new record. The service creates the record, and sends the Guid of the record back to your button, which then opens up the newly created record.
This way, you avoid the messiness of setting/getting values in JavaScript and tying which fields to set/retrieve directly to your OnLoads, as well as avoiding the possibility of query string that's too long.
The service could easily be sufficiently generalized so that all you'd have to do is add your button to any entity, and it would work, assuming you'd set up your service to handle that particular entity.
One possible downside is that since the clone record button would actually create the record, the user would be forced to delete the cloned record if they decided they didn't want to clone the record after all.
