I have my application setup locally and on an ubuntu server. Locally everything works fine and images are loading just fine but not on the server. The image path is the same but on the server I see the 404 Not Found page when trying to see an image. Could someone point me in the right direction? Do I need to do some configuration on the server to get it to work?
I created a console application (Asp.Net core Kestrel) which host a web site and copied it to a Windows Server. Browsing http://hostname:5000/ locally on the server works. However, it got This site can’t be reachedu _hostname_ refused to connect. when browsing the site on another machine.
I already created an inbound firewall rule.
I tried create a website in IIS on the server with port 5009. And the website can be remotely accessed.
I deployed Magento 2.2 on google cloud using the standard deployment from google marketplace. Everything was working fine initially. When i visit the external IP address I would see the site. After a hard reset of the VM, the site went down. Not sure what is going on.
Compute engine external address should be https://104.154.249.237
I've always been using xampp for localhost but recently I had problems with the ports and tried to run the localhost with Wamp Server. Everything looked fine but when I typed localhost/bluedrive/drive/public the browser showed The requested URL /bluedrive/drive/public/auth/login was not found on this server. I forgot to mention that i'm using Laravel 5. When I used XAMPP I didn't have such problems. Why there is one with WAMP SERVER?
enable mod_rewrite in WAMP server.
The mod_rewrite module uses a rule-based rewriting engine, based on a PCRE regular-expression parser, to rewrite requested URLs on the fly.
so basically it sends the request to Laravel instead of finding folders with those names.
I have my website done in Joomla in local and it work fine.
I moved my website to a remote server and now I have links and other things that do not work.
I connect by ssh to my server but I cannot find my custom articles (without category) or my personalize HTML modules.
Where can I find this on my server?
Chances are you didn't move the site over properly. The easiest way to move a site is to use Akeeba - https://www.akeebabackup.com/.
