Oracle JDeveloper Service BUS - jdeveloper

I learning about OSB following this documentation.
But in the
Defining a Directory Structure and Importing Artifacts -> Import Artifacts -> on number 5 instructions, there are:
On the Select WSDL page, click Application Server. Expand DefaultServer, default, and SayHello[Default 1.0], select makegreeting_client_ep(ws) and click OK. Make sure to avoid the https URL; if it's selected by default, then change it to http using the port 7101.
But there is no makegreeting_client_ep in mine, like this screenshot:
There are just SOA -> DefaultServer -> default, there are no expanding options after that like the documentation.
So what is the possiblity wrong with that..?
I using Oracle JDeveloper 12c Release 12.2.1.3.0.

Under the screenshot there is a note saying:
Note: Oracle WebLogic Server must be started and the SayHello composite application has to be deployed before reaching this step.
At the top of the page in the 'Before You Begin section' it lists some pre-requisites. One of them is:
The HelloWorld composite application deployed in Oracle WebLogic Server

How to list all Websphere installed applications for a given Middleware server using jython

I have a Websphere 8.5.5.12 installation with multiple applications running on it. For a given Middleware Server, I'd like to be able to list all applications associated with it using Jython.
I have gone as far as writing this code:
wsadmin>print AdminApp.list("WebSphere:cell=myCell,node=myNode")
However this is retrieving applications for a different Dynamic Cluster
If I add a specific server, it errors out
wsadmin>print AdminApp.list("WebSphere:cell=myCell,server=myServer")
ADMA0184E: myServer is not a valid target.
Your query should look like:
wsadmin>AdminApp.list("WebSphere:cell=myCell,node=myNode,server=server1")
It appears you're missing the node identifier in your query. And if wsadmin still returns "myServer is not a valid target", then the server name is wrong, try looking at your app server profile directory structure to double check it.

How to create a deployment package with SQL scripts in IIS

Using IIS-10, Web Deploy v3.6, Windows 10.
It is an ASP.NET Website (not application) using SQL Server 2014 for the back-end.
I was able to successfully create and deploy the package, but without SQL scripts. Could not find any info on how to do it for including SQL scripts in the package. Here is what I have tried:
In IIS, under 'Default Web Site', select my web application.
On the right hand side, click on 'Export Application'.
Click on 'Manage Components'. Choose 'dbFullSql' as Provider name. For Path, enter connection string.
eg: Data Source=xxx.xxx.xx.xxx;Initial Catalog=MyDB;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=testuser;Password=test#345;
When clicked on OK, nothing happens. The processing icon keeps showing. It had to be closed using task manager.
Also tried with the path of the .sql file, instead of connectionString. But no idea about what parameters to be entered& how /where to mention the connection string.
I would appreciate if anyone could guide me with the right procedure.

Can not connect to IBM content navigator web administration

When I tried to connect to the navigator web administration, I receive a message "The desktop can not be opened" and It require defining a desktop ID.
http://imgur.com/JNKelPy
How to fix this problem or define a desktop ID?
I can't remember if after an installation default desktop is admin or if you have to set it manually. Is your URL with ?desktop=admin at the end working (https://ecm.filenet.com:9443/navigator/?desktop=admin)? If it does, create a desktop and set it as default. If it doesn't, you should take a look at the WAS log (SystemOut.log) to see what the error is.
After successful deployment of IBM Content Navigator, the admin desktop is automatically created. It is considered the default desktop until another is created with a valid repository. If you have issues, you should put in the full admin console address:
http://www.ICNADDRESS.com:9080/navigator/?desktop=admin
The desktop selection code at the end (?desktop=) can be used to specifically go to any desktop in the configuration, but the code treats the admin console address shown above as "special" for authentication and processes it slightly differently. I've had normal desktop configurations (especially after upgrades from 2.0.1 & 2.0.2) have issues for administrative users.
IBM Content Navigator uses DB tables for it's configuration data. You can find the desktop related info in a table named CONFIGMGMT including admin desktop.
There are server possibilities for the error that you are getting
CONFIGMGMT table has corrupted data regarding admin desktop.
CONFIGMGMT table has been deleted.
The DB table is accessed by Content Navigator via data source created in your application server and the connection to the underlying database is not made due to authentication issues(very common due to password change policies).

How to connect to oracle from a java servlet?

I have a problem connecting to oracle from within a java servlet running in Jetty (as part of Eclipse). The identical code runs fine from a standalone java app.
My entire development environment is on a single mac. I am using Eclipse and have included the ojdbc6.jar in the main 'Referenced Libraries' and have also dragged and dropped this file in the war/web-inf/lib folder.
As soon as the line
OracleConnectionPoolDataSource ocpds = new
OracleConnectionPoolDataSource();
is called (within the servlet) I get the exception:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(javax.management.MBeanServerPermission createMBeanServer)
Am I missing some security policy or so? If so, exactly what do I do need to do to rectify this? And where does this BeanServer come in?
Thanks in advance.
Every web container has its own way of defining data sources, and making them available through JNDI. You should do that instead.
The native oracle connection pool seems to be creating an MBeanServer, and this is not probably not allowed by the security manager used by Jetty. See http://wiki.eclipse.org/Jetty/Feature/Secure_Mode and http://wiki.eclipse.org/Jetty/Tutorial/Jetty-Policy.
Worked it out - not entirely clear why but created a new GWT app in Eclipse but this time NOT included the Google App Engine (which is ticked by default). This seems to add some restrictions to the code when it is running in Jetty....
I now have copied the sample code over and all is working well!

Adding a jdbc driver to pentaho design studio and configuring the datasource

I've just integrated pentaho's design studio into the BI server. Does anyone know how to add mysql jdbc drivers. I need to connect in order to define the relational action process.
In my research I found:
http://wiki.bizcubed.com.au/xwiki/bin/view/Pentaho%20Tutorial/Install%20Pentaho%20Design%20Studio#Comments
which specifies selecting
JDBC Driver, Edit, Extra Class Path from Preferences but no such preference exists,
http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread.php?85148-Design-Studio-xaction-database-connection-dropdown-list-empty&highlight=add+jdbc+driver+to+design+studio
which resulted in me creating a jdbc folder in which I placed the drivers in plugins\org.pentaho.designstudio.editors.actionsequence_4.0.0.stable\lib\
but just as the author of the thread I'm stuck
http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread.php?53303-Create-a-new-datasource&highlight=add+jdbc+driver+to+design+studio
suggests that:
3. If you are using the Pentaho DesignStudio you have to copy your jdbc (JAR files) to the plugins directory (in pentaho plugin) so you can develop, deploy and run your applications. This apply also to eclipse plugin (If you have now an Eclipse).
Which resulted in me placing the jar files in the plugin directory to no avail.
http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread.php?53715-Can-t-add-new-datasource-GA-version&highlight=add+jdbc+driver+to+design+studio
talks of a directory, rdw which does not exist
Any form of assistance will be greatly appreciated.
You have to configure the datasource by adding a Relational Process Action to your .xaction in the Pentaho Design Studio wherein you can specify the JDBC Driver, Username, Password and the Database URL. But first you have to put your MySQL JAR file in your lib folder /path/to/biserver-ce/tomcat/lib
You will also have to save your *.xaction file/s in the pentaho-solutions folder /path/to/biserver-ce/pentaho-solutions in order for your *.xaction files to connect to the database which you have assigned in your Relational Process Action.
I encountered the same problem and solved as follow
place mysql-connector-java-5.1.17.jar under (bi server path)\tomcat\lib\ folder
start Pentaho Admin Console (PAC) http://127.0.0.1:8099 with
user: admin
password: password
and add a connection there
use the name of the connection just created for action sequence as JNDI
The problem solved for me.
