I want to get my Larvel project ready for deployment.
I already found some guides in the web, but no one of them could answer me the following question(s):
Which file do I have to upload to the webserver?
I already tried to remove as much folders/files as possible to keep the project-size on my apache webserver as small as possible. But is there any guide which tells me, which folders/files do i exactly need to exchange?
When it comes to an update:
Once deployed, which files do i need to update?
Do I have to upload all the files again or can I exchange only certain ones?
Currently i followed the official laravel guide and uploaded all files to the webserver.

I am facing a critical issue in my application, it is developed in Laravel and Angular. The issue is I am getting the old email templates on live site and on local server I am getting the latest updated one. The process to deloy the code is automatic, I just to commit the code in BitBucket and after that Bitbucket Pipleline push the code to AWS server directly.
I have already run the cache cammands for Laravel and restarted the jobs but still i am getting the same issue. If anyone have expirienced the same issue or have knowledge of the same to resolve, Please guide!
I think you can try one of the following ways to overcome the issue, I faced a similar issue and resolved it by following ways -
Try deleting the cache files manually from Laravel from storage/framework/views
Upload the code directly into AWS for particular module without using the pipeline way
restart your server
This will surely resolve your issue!
Since you are using Laravel and angular application deployed on AWS,
I assume that bit bucket is pushing code and build commands are fired on every push
there are few things which can help you.
Try to build the angular side on every push, since angular builds hashes all the files in the dist folder
Try to delete the Laravel cached files which are stored in storage/framework/views
Check that on that your server is pointing to the right project folder
If any of the points from 1 or 2 works you can automate the process by passing CLI command after every push,
Point 1 and 2 are achievable by passing CLI commands.
I have a website build using Codeigniter Framework. I already uploaded it in a web server, TurnKey Lamp in Linux using Git Bash.. I can access it already since it is networked.. What I want now is to make it visible on internet.. How can I do that?
I would like to setup Camunda-BPM in a Tomcat 7 running on Jelastic. I followed the instructions.
The problem now is that Jelastic does not allow to add the file bpm-platform.xml into the catalina-home/conf directory. So when I start the tomcat I get

Can someone please give me a hint where I can place bpm-platform.xml so that the BPM engine starts?
The directory you're looking for is labelled as 'server' in the Jelastic dashboard - but sadly you cannot upload new files to this directory via the dashboard (only edit the existing ones).
However, you can write to this directory via FTP (http://docs.jelastic.com/ftp-ftps-support), so you should be able to add the file that way.
If you are just using a trial account at the moment, you may need to seek assistance from your hosting provider to add the file there for you manually from their side (since trial accounts do not have public IP, so can't use FTP).
I worked on a website and it was hosted on bigrock server. But the client want me to transfer into just host. I managed to copy all the stuffs, but the theme I installed into old server is not getting copied into new justhost server. Please help me out in this one.

But: I found it quite common for file permissions to be an issue when using straight copy/paste/move.
When moving anything like a cms or cart with potential file permission issues, I would through cpanel/UI compress the lot and then move or copy the .zip/.tar ; On new server unzip through cpanel/UI and previous permission are intact too.
I tried to deploy my project with capifony, becouse I found here an answer, that with capifony deployment is easy. Well I don't think it is, so my question is:
How can I deploy my project via ftp, I put all my files on the server but even if I browse to web/app.php, the only thing I get is an empty page, whatever route I write in the url. So someone please explain me how can I get this work! Thank you!
A couple of things to think of when deploying a Symfony2 project to a new server or computer (as far as I've encountered) might be:
Make sure that the server and it's PHP installation meets the Symfony2 requirements (and perhaps also the recommendations)
Check that you've somewhat followed the installation instructions (found here)
Try to clear the cache
Make sure that the web server and it's PHP process have write permissions to the cache folder
If none of these helps, try to modify the app_dev.php to temporarily allow access from your current (client) IP (instead of restraining it to localhost). Then, hopefully, you'll get a more useful and detailed error message, instead of the blank page (which often is caused by some fatal error that have occurred during the initialization of the framework and its kernel)
Update: Noticed now that you've tagged your question with 'windows', but that you don't mention which server you're trying to deploy to. I wrote the above with some *nix based server in mind, but hopefully some of it are applicable to Windows servers too (but there might be other common sources of error running under Windows that I'm not familliar with
