JMeter Not Recognizing Server Name Field - Test Failed Code Expected To Equal / - jmeter

My colleague is running the same JMeter file as myself but for some reason it doesn't work for her but it does for me.
She can make it work if instead of having the field Server Name filled in she has the whole url on path instead.
We've checked all our settings and they seem to be the same (same version of JMeter included). Not sure what we could be missing please?
File that doesn't work
File that works
Thanks a lot.

There is a mistake due to which the test is not running.
There is a slash "/" missing in the path "get-event", you should write "/get-event" because jmeter reads the url by combining the link from server field and path field. So, when link joins together it becomes "/api-hcget-even" instead "/api-hc/get-even"

Part of the HTTPS response is changing on every session

I have a HTTP response code. A part of it was changing with application upgrade, so I have created a variable for this and changing the variable after each upgrade and so that it will be automatically updated throughout the JMeter script.
Language|aB5U0Easj5xXnirzSu4eYyOxICkTU9uEgH4TPx/A++/hc6XBB3sgFdHmvXLriQxFq9RCj4T1Zq+fvzXouImGRIc93NkzkPUEMR1xqwMipVw4A4jJRruIBoLQ6SnP6JfOM3O7M0fV2bhJEHuRAoI04WmYI5eRfNCZhvG9e6Ye9h/8qyk8YRCMRfSjqaA1aZKAXPv1yYPFYXej+WDAt8L82LY/jW3URLc7LLDz/da87CZi3MLJgwRJvjhwB1fBu1Wp4mIR0e79ipNeGJyYY7ADxir0r9cYP611NTj+WF4tR5P7/epeDgexHXpuI/o2+q+vaALUn4+QikI+8KtSi5zE0g9oMJ39o/MIWpJIRAr0p4WmUoROB+6nTyNPG0MZaxKkuboD/7c/mdWzDOeB4eBOljGQpwg1PB53eWrSQJ8Gf7utR05sMOe87worG8lm34oAVlU/H32JzY82ig==
The above is the part which is changing and I have created a Variable as Language. And everything is fine till now.
Now, I am facing a new problem after upgrading my application. This variable is changing with every new login, because of this was unable to run the load test. It is giving me the following error.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Error while decrypting message, close tab or re-login
Can someone came across similar issue or if anybody has some idea how to solve this. Please help me !!
So basically you are doing what is known as a "Correlation". The error you are getting is mostly related to correlation. when you are replaying the script, you are using dynamic value from the recording script which is expired.
Check the following:
Have you replaced all the changing values in the scripts with your variable? Maybe you
missed some parts. Some values could be in a request url or in a body data of a Post
request.
Check for other values that are changing, sometimes you will have many values to be
correlated, not just one (ex. JSessionID, CSRF token and ...)
What tool you are using to search for dynamic values and their locations? You can use
JMeter response to check for dynamic values but it is easier if you use Fiddler or if
you know LoadRunner, you can use its scripts comparison capabilities.

How to fix "is not willing to disclose that one exists" error in run record of jemeter

I'm recording a scenario in JMeter. After adding "CSV data set config" or "Regular Expression Extractor", I get this error in the response: "The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists."
so my scenario does not work.
What should i do to fix it?
Looking into the error source - it is normal basic HTTP 404 (Not Found) status.
It means that your request URL is pointing to the content which does not exist.
Inspect failing request details using View Results Tree listener and double check the URLs - most probably there are references to not existing content.
In case if main requests are fine one of embedded resources calls might fail, in order to turn off the checks for embedded resources integrity you can add the next line to user.properties file:
httpsampler.ignore_failed_embedded_resources=true
However assuming everything is fine with your JMeter script HTTP 404 errors indicate a SUT issue which needs to be reported and fixed.

How to get the code causing an issue in SonarQube or a link to it?

Is there a way to parameter the SonarQube web service to get the line of the code causing a specific error?
For instance, if I parameter the webservice to get all the blocking issues like this:
http://localhost:9000/api/issues/search?severities=BLOCKER
the Json returned gives the line's number of the issues but not the line's code. How to have the code of those lines?
Otherwise, is there a possibility to get a link to the line causing the error?
Thank you in advance
Check out the WebAPI documentation embedded in your SonarQube server (linked at the footer). For your specific use-case you'll see that this is a good match: api/sources .

File upload fails during recording using JMeter

I attempted to record a file upload in JMeter, using port 8888, but the file failed to upload when using JMeter as the proxy ( Recording Controller and HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder ). I also tried to run this from within JMeter by choosing "Start" and viewing what I had just recorded in the View Results Tree listener. When I ran it this way, I received a 500 error for the file upload line in the View Results Tree listener.
So, I ran Charles network proxy while doing the file upload to see if the same thing happened. It did not. I was able to successfully upload the file going through the Charles network proxy on the same port 8888.
Furthermore, I took out all proxies and did the file upload successfully.
Only when I use JMeter as the proxy do I have a problem uploading the file.
In JMeter, after first running it with no changes, I then tried to change many settings like Implementation, Content Encoding, Browser-campatible headers, Retrieve All Embedded Resources, and many others to see if this would help, but it did not.
So, my gut tells me that there is a setting that is set incorrectly.
I found this post that talks about changing to use "Java" in the HTTP Request Defaults. ( Unable to upload image/file when using Jmeter HTTP Proxy server ) This did not help me though when I tried that.
I found this post also which mentions some other types of things ( Unable to record an upload file scenario in JMeter though it is possible by manual effort with specific browser settings ) . I did check the headers against Charles and they look the same.
Any ideas?
============= Edit below is adding the test plan screen shot===============
During recording you need to put the file you want to upload in jmeter/bin folder.
This is due to some limitations of browsers which do not transmit the full path.
So, apparently, I had to remove the parameters from the "Path" line and move them to the "Send Parameters With the Request:" for the line that I had the 500 error on ( the highlighted line in the screen shot I had attached above ).
In summary, here is what happened. When I recorded the file upload with JMeter using the Recording Controller and HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder, JMeter had put all of the parameters in the "Path" field for me on many of the lines that JMeter had recorded for me. I did not even think twice about what JMeter had done automatically for me. So, after I removed all text except "/" in the "Path" field and added each parameter one at a time under "Send Parameters With the request", I received a "200" status code on the line that had given me the problem. I also went into all other lines and made these same changes for the parameters. I still am not sure if the file upload is actually working, but I don't care about that right now since I did get a "200" on the line that was giving me a problem. That is enough progress to keep me moving ahead... :-).

MVC3 project will not execute pages with periods in the url on IIS6.0

I am getting a 404 error on my site when I upload it to our test server. I've found that the issue lies in the url format.
http://servername/Wizard/Review/B00557.0001 if I manually encode the decimal to %46 it works. I guess IIS6.0 is trying to interpret B00557.0001 as a file.
I get this error code in my log file.
2011-11-01 12:53:01 W3SVC259463726 10.90.10.11 GET /Wizard/Review/B00557.0001 - 80 - 10.90.10.32 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+8.0;+Windows+NT+6.1;+Trident/4.0;+SLCC2;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727;+.NET+CLR+3.5.30729;+.NET+CLR+3.0.30729;+Media+Center+PC+6.0;+InfoPath.2;+.NET4.0C;+.NET4.0E;+MS-RTC+LM+8) 404 0 3
Is there a server setting I can change to resolve this without modifying my applications code?
#counsellorben was correct for the most part. Verify file exists must be unchecked. Since the url does not actually represent a physical file.
