How to access extended rule description through web API? - sonarqube

I'm using SonarQube 6.7.6. I try to access extended rule description through web API.
I access a rule which had an extended description through the api/rules/show resource then I look at htmlDesc response field but this field doesn’t contain my extended description.
Does anyone know how to do that?

I quote here the G Ann Campbell answer from SQ community forum:
This is working for me in the latest version.
Speaking of which, 6.7.6 has some age on it at this point. The current version is 8.0 (8.1 to drop any day now) and the current LTS is 7.9.1. You should upgrade at your earliest convenience.

Why is there no access to all document resources?

I would like to understand why I can not continue my work with Carrot2. A message appears saying "Our apologies, the following processing error has occurred:
org.carrot2.source.etools.IpBannedException: org.apache.http.client.HttpResponseException: Forbidden"
There is a problem with eTools, Wiki, PUT document sources (31/07/19) into Online version. I try to work with the downloaded version of the programme, but no document source does not work. Could you solve this problem and how long it will take?
Thank you!
Please see here:
http://project.carrot2.org/faq.html#ipbanned
We provide the search interface as a demo of the technology and we use a partnership with a company called Comcepta (eTools) for providing a limited number of free search requests. Unfortunately, some people have been abusing this free service and we had to introduce per-IP limitations.
If you wish to extend your query limits please install Carrot2 locally and contact Comcepta for custom query limit arrangements.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

SonarQube Web Api Changes from 6.0 to 6.4

I was using "http://sonarserver:9000/api/resources?metrics=ncloc,bugs,vulnerabilities" to get the details of all the projects for sonar 6.0.
After upgrading to 6.4 this url does not work and I am not able to find the alternative for this under the web_api changes page.
Please let me know if anyone knows about an alternative to this.
Error: {"errors":[{"msg":"Unknown url : /api/resources"}]}
Per WebAPI documentation (embedded in your own SonarQube server, linked at the footer): api/resources/index is deprecated since 5.4 (i.e. a super long time ago).
The documentation even provides some guidance:
if you need one component with measures: api/measures/component
That will get you the measures you need for a given project. You can use other APIs to get the list of projects (e.g. api/components/search). See Web API docs for the full listing of possibilities.

Customer email using .online tld is being rejected

I'm using DotNetKit 1.2.6.5 and SagePayIntegration.Validation() is rejecting a customer email that uses the new .online domain (eg: foo#bar.online) with
CustomerEMail is invalid.
Is this fixed in 1.2.6.7 or is the source code for SagePay.IntegrationKit.DotNet.dll available somewhere so I can fix it?
Despite access to the source code (many thanks to #DavidG) SagePay Support have confirmed that the actual Gateway does not support all these new domains - so even if I modified the DotNetKit it would still be rejected by the Gateway.
SagePay support were very helpful but ultimately the
"... email domain foo#bar.online is not yet supported on our gateway.
We run development sprints continuously and although there are some
domains we may not yet support, we look to in future, dependent on
impact and demand..."
The SagePay Integration Kit uses this regex to validate email addresses:
[a-zA-Z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+(?:\.[a-zA-Z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+)*#(?:[a-zA-Z0-9](?:[a-zA-Z0-9-]*[a-zA-Z0-9])?\.)+(?:[a-zA-Z]{2,4})\b
Which does unfortunately not allow extra long TLDs. Fortunately I have the source code for the kit and I've added it to my GitHub account (along with a bug fix which is why I had to get it in the first place as SagePay are not updating it). You can find it here:
https://github.com/WiredUK/SagePay.IntegrationKit
And the Regex you need to edit is this file:
https://github.com/WiredUK/SagePay.IntegrationKit/blob/801f61cf965c391a98a025aa632949719084cef0/ApiRegex.cs
For info, you need to edit the very last part of the expression from 2,4 (which matches 2 to 4 characters in the TLD) to allow more, for example 2,30.
Edit: And just because I can, I opened an issue and fixed it.

Is there any continual support from Google on uiautomator?

I don't see any updates to the github for 8 months: https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/uiautomator/
There are uiautomator defects filed in https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/list?can=2&q=uiautomator
Is it safe to say that Google has dropped support for this tool?
PS: Is there an email address or contact # that I could get this information from a Google representative?
A quick check shows that the members are still assigning the bugs and enhancements. Check this one for example:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=82292&q=uiautomator&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Owner%20Summary%20Stars
I don't think it is being dropped.

What time zones does Outlook 2007 support in iCalendar invites?

I understand Outlook only "partially" conforms to the standard. Does Microsoft have a published spec on what they do conform with?
I need a list of the available time zone id's I can use for Outlook meeting invites.
I'm using ical4j to build my invite. I found the ical4j-zoneinfo-outlook project, and it works for the basic America/Chicago and America/New_York time zones. Overall I can't get a list of the complete available id's from this library, and it won't support basic "GMT-6:00".
Any ideas? Thanks!
The best way to get a full list of timezone ids for iCal4j is to check the http://tzurl.org/zoneinfo-outlook website. This is the source for ical4j's timezones.
Note that you still need to either manually or programmatically traverse the site to get all the valid ids.
