I am trying in vain to Gluu Server in docker container on my macbook . Here are the instructions how to start Gluu Server Single Host . It fails with following error

For anyone else that arrives at this question using RHEL or Centos, I had the same issue with RHEL 7.3
Apparently In older RHEL kernel versions they deny creation of mount namespaces inside a user namspace because of an out-of-tree patch. apparently RHEL 7.5 will fix this.
I updated my OS to 7.9 and it resolved the issue:
Check for updates:
yum check-update
Update the system
yum update
And then reboot
reboot
After this follow the instructions as documented running as sudo.

Kubernetes should be running.
But check your cluster-info:

To further debug and diagnose cluster problems, use 'kubectl cluster-info dump'.
Unable to connect to the server: dial tcp [::1]:8080: connectex: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
That is reported both in docker/machine and docker/for-win or kubernetes/minikube.
While the issue is pending, and if no firewall/proxy is involved, I have seen the error caused because the port is already taken.

The reason you are getting the error message is that Kuberentes is not looking into the correct configuration folder because the configuration path is not configured on the Windows 10 machine.
Solution
To fix the problem, I will run the command below that will tell Kubernetes where to find the configuration file on the machine.

Have been trying to setup Kubernetes for local development on my Windows 7 machine with a VirtualBox VM Driver. Installing and running minikube fails each time with the below error:

I suspected this may be happening due to minikube cache downloading at a network drive folder (N:) due to enterprise configurations in my laptop, however, copying the .minikube folder from N:\.minikube to C:\Users\abc123\.minikube has not abated the problem.
Do let me know if someone has managed to solve it.
I ran into the same error on osx after re-installing minikube. Simply deleting the minikube VM and restarting fixed everything:
$ minikube delete
$ minikube start
Go to C:\Users\\
Delete the .minikube folder
Start minikube (minikube.exe start --kubernetes-version="v1.10.0" --vm-driver="virtualbox")
Try using powershell/cygwin instead of cmd.
Also delete .minikube folder
do minikube delete
then minikube start
In certain scenarios, it may be an issue with your VM driver. If you don't specify one, it may default to VirtualBox. But if you have HyperV instead (due to installing docker on windows, for example) then it won't start. You may have to start it like so:
minikube start --vm-driver hyperv
Or whatever is appropriate.

Best solution I've found after googling for a while:
First check if your Virtualbox version is the latest or at least above 5, then
Run on CMD docker-machine rm -f ##dockerContainerName## (Generally: default)
Delete .docker folder from your user folder
Run docker-machine create --driver virtualbox ##dockerContainerName##

I have installed Python (with Pip and easysetup), Cloud Foundry and ICE in my host machine, OS X 10.10.3.
I've booted boot2docker and attempted to ice login.
After a successful login attempt:

The only configuration I did previously was adding the following to ~/.bash_profile, which is what provided by Docker when using boot2docker up:
export DOCKER_HOST=tcp://192.168.59.103:2376
export DOCKER_CERT_PATH=/Users/idanadar/.boot2docker/certs/boot2docker-vm
export DOCKER_TLS_VERIFY=1
Once I did this change, I get the above two errors. If I will comment out the above three lines from .bash_profile, and not run boot2docker shellinit after boot2docker up, I will get this error:

The error that is outputted by ICE is really unhelpful.
To solve it:
Added back to ~/.bash_profile the original 3 lines
Created the namespace in Bluemix.net
After that, everything has fallen to place and everything is working.
As of last night all our new docker deployments started failing because the latest version of docker (docker-1.3.2-1.0.amzn1.x86_64) in the amazon repo fails to start up.
Steps to reproduce are:
## Launch instance with default amazon AMI
yum install docker-1.3.2-1.0.amzn1.x86_64
service docker restart

Yes, it is broken for me too.
Downgrading has been the solution yet.
The same error was by me on a centos VM provisioned at my workplace - a yum update resolved it.
I suspect a build was broken but went out, and has been fixed subsequently.
