My first question on the site.
I just came back to my project after 2 days, and have tried out flutter.
My app used to run fine on android, now it gives me a metadata error
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error CS0006 Metadata file
'C:\Users\frede\source\repos\GoogleCalendarStatistics\GoogleCalendarStatistics\bin\Debug\netstandard2.0\ref\GoogleCalendarStatistics.dll'
could not be
found GoogleCalendarStatistics.Android C:\Users\frede\source\repos\GoogleCalendarStatistics\GoogleCalendarStatistics.Android\CSC 1 Active
It may do the trick that delete bin and obj folder and rebuild .

I'm creating a cordova app for Windows.
Now when I build this normally (with my own identity of which I have no clue where he gets it from) everything works fine and my app launches with success.
Although when I then associate my app with the Store, and have my actual app name + package name etc filled in for me, I get a blank screen when trying to run my app.
The head and body tags stay empty and no error is thrown in my JavaScript console.
Any idea of why this happens? The problem definitely is that I associate my app with the Store and then something happens which makes my app crash or fail to start.
But why does it do this? And how can I resolve it?
(currently building with VS2017)
edit
Alright, so I figured out that because the package name changed, I had to edit that as well in the manifest. Now My main root component is loaded, but it isn't setting the app root to any page, just a blank screen. (with a menu that can open on swipe).
Alright, so my Microsoft assigned package name was different than my own. This caused the app to look for my own package name instead of the Microsoft one I associated with.
The solution was quite simple, just set your widget-id in your config.xml to the Microsoft assigned package name and rebuild your solution.
(I was using Ionic framework so re-execute ionic build windows --release --prod --arch="arm")
I've been working on an UWP app with a Telerik RadDataGrid component on it. It builds fine in debug and release mode. However, when building the windows store app package the process fails with the following reason:
ErrorFor file "C:\Projects\CompanyAppClient10\obj\x64\Debug\PackageLayout\Telerik.UI.Xaml.Grid.UWP\Assets\FilterFlyout\ic_arrow_down_white.scale-140.png" -
0x80070003 - The system cannot find the path specified.CompanyAppClient10 C:\Projects\CompanyAppClient10\MakeAppx
What could be the cause of this?
I've already tried creating a new clean UWP application with only a RadDataGrid component on MainPage.xaml. This results in the same error as above.
I've also repaired my Telerik UWP installation. Makes no difference.
Installing the newer update fixes it.
Alternatively you can use the following workaround -- copy the entire folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\UI for Universal Windows Platform Q2 2016\Binaries\Telerik.UI.Xaml.Grid.UWP\Assets\FilterFlyout
into
C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\UI for Universal Windows Platform Q2 2016\SDKs\Telerik UI for Universal Windows Platform\Redist\CommonConfiguration\neutral\Telerik.UI.Xaml.Grid.UWP\Assets
Based on the error message my guess is that your app requires scale 140 assets but Telerik doesn’t provide them. You many want to contact Telerik directly and file a bug report.
The app is being built on another persons computer and then sent to me to test. I am extremely new to this but have been testing apps for a few months. I just don't do programming at all. I can maneuver my way around inside Xcode 7.1 pretty well. However, I do need to fix these errors in order to test this current app. Can someone help me out?
Command /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang failed with exit code 1
I also have another error that reads
Error reading '/Users/logjam3/Desktop/Cosmo Client/Cosmo Client.xcodeproj'
This is exactly the path to where my project is so I don't know why I get this error.
You have to change the prefix header source location. You can do this by searching for prefix header then changing the location by pressing the 'file' icon on the right sidebar of Xcode.
I have created a C# windows application and after , and i have created my reports using crystal report .and it works fine ,
but now i need to upgrade my interface , so i have created another c# windows application , after finishing my application screens i need my old reports to be embedded on my new interface application ,
what i did was r.click on my application \ add existing item \ selecting the .rpt files ,
but when try to run my application and open the report , application raise an exception "Load Report Failed " .
The Inner Exception was "Unsupported Operation. A document processed by the JRC engine cannot be opened in the C++ stack" .
I have check these solutions :
report file path
rpt file property : Build Action as "Content"
rpt file property : Copy to Output Directory as "Do not Copy"
rpt file properties : Put Empty for Custom Tool and Custom Tool Namespace
Put application is still raise the previous error .
can someone help me to fix this proplem
Use runtime path for loadding report I.e
reportDocument.Load(Application.StartupPath + "\CrystalReport1.rpt");
Make sure report files are placed in specified folder which is directed by this path. use
string str = Application.StartupPath;
to be sure that which folder it refers to then place report files in this folder it will work fine. I faced similar problem like you and then I noticed this path indicates to bin\debug folder while report files in my project were somewhere else I just copied all files to debug folder and its working fine .... cheers
Crystal often gives you missleading error messages.
In my case I've set Copy to Output Directory of *.rpt file to "Do not Copy" (like you have it too) and I was passing the file path to the bin folder (where it doesn't exist) to ((ReportDocument)rpt).Load("[/bin/folder/path/report.rpt]");
->So check if the file(path) you want to load really exist
My Build Action is set to Embedded Resource (was default)
In my case, it was a problem with permission. Check if all users are allowed to access the file.
I must be missing something. After downloading AntlrWorks2 I found the executable bin/antlrworks2.exe and bin/antlrworks264.exe. Aren't these supposed to be the standalone version of the tool? Neither works for me; after a NetBeans splash screen, the first times around I got an error message on missing packages; after a couple of times I chose to go on regardless, but now (still after the initial spash screen) there is simply nothing happening at all.
I can't find any tutorial or manual detailing how to run AntlrWorks stand-alone, so any help is much appreciated.
This is due to a bug in the NetBeans platform. I filed a report but it hasn't received a reply yet:
Cannot launch platform application after moving installation folder
Here is a workaround that does not delete any preferences you have customized:
I found that deleting just the var folder under the user's generated
.antlrworks2 settings folder resolves the issue...
Still an issue as of date of this post. Deleting the .antlrworks2 folder from \users\username\AppData\Roaming does work - you can find this folder by putting %APPDATA% into your file explorer address bar (exactly as shown) - that will go to the app data folder for your current user login session. Delete the .antlrworks2 folder and then re-run the app.
