So I'm trying to install vanilla forums with Uwamp, PHP 7.2.7 and apparently al the extensions enabled, still the installer prompts that Curl isn't enabled. It's ok in php.ini and the dll is in the proper folder, What might be happening?
Restarting Apache or even my computer does have no effect at all.

How to install Typo3 in Windows 10 with XAMPP?

I have installed XAMPP in Windows, It is working perfectly. but when I installed Typo3 version 8 and it Showed some errors
PHP OpenSSL extension not working.
PHP extension soap not loaded.
Current directory is not within in the current path.
Low PHP Script Execution Time.
PHP max_input_vars very low.
Windows apache thread stack size.
But I can't able to fix the following:
PHP OpenSSL extension not working.
PHP extension soap not loaded.
Current directory is not within in the current path.
Windows apache thread stack size.
What should I do?
Thank you
Here is the full configuration for the Apache On windows server. This working fine with my windows 10 with SSL.
<script src="https://gist.github.com/GhanshyamBhava/41d3a34acc11cec2a4828b0d4b2c840f.js"></script>
Hope this will work for you.
Greetings!
The errors above are not something you have to worry about.
You don't need openSSL for development, it is working without soap (maybe this is used by TER), you have to paste all typo3 src in root path because windows doesn't support symlinks.
But if you want to make all things work you have to use vagrant or docker.
Vagrant requires VirtualBox or other Virtual machine tool.
But docker has a boilerplate ready to use: https://github.com/webdevops/TYPO3-docker-boilerplate

Gnome Shell extensions not loading, no error message available

I have two gnome-shell extensions that don't appear to be loading after upgrading to 3.24. In gnome-tweak-tool they have a warning sign icon with "Error loading extension", and nothing else. I tried using looking glass (lg), and it just says "Error", and that the extension "has not reported any errors".
How can I debug the extension to find out why exactly it's not loading?
I found the error in the systemd journal:
$ sudo journalctl /usr/bin/gnome-shell
Just simply run this on terminal:
gnome-extensions-app
and enable it to make the extensions work.
Works perfectly with GNOME 40
As mentioned on the Github page.
A Shell reload is required. Press Alt+F2 r Enter and the extension has to be enabled with gnome-tweak-tool or with dconf.
As mentioned on Dash to Dock's User reviews. Make sure you disable Ubuntu Dock if you are using this in Ubuntu, otherwise you are going to have conflicts.
To disable Ubuntu Dock type the following in terminal:
gnome-extensions disable ubuntu-dock#ubuntu.com
I also experienced the same error. I think I will like to state the procedures that I took to make mine to work, and then you can check to see if you got it wrong somewhere.
Here are the steps
First install the Gnome shell extensions package from the terminal
sudo apt install gnome-shell-extensions
And then reboot your system. After that, start GNOME Tweaks and you’ll find a few extensions installed. You can just toggle the button to start using an installed extension.
Next, go to GNOME Extensions website (GNOME User Themes Extensions) and download the extension with the latest version (Although, I often prefer to download the version next to the latest version, since it may be more stable).
Extract the downloaded file to the ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions (home/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions) directory. You can press Ctrl + H to show hidden folders. Create the extensions folder if you don't have it yet.
Now restart GNOME Shell. Press Alt+F2 and enter r to restart GNOME Shell.
Restart GNOME Tweaks tool as well. You should see the manually installed GNOME extension in the Tweak tool now. You can configure or enable the newly installed extension here.
That's all
I hope this helps
Loging in without wayland works for me.
My extension was not enabling. I just log out and log in back and ran this command.
gnome-extensions enable example#hammad.example.com
It worked in my case.

libsybcs.dll error when installing composer

Running a windows install I keep getting error listed below.
"The program can't start because libsybcs.dll is missing from your computer.
Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
Not sure what this means.
This isn't a Composer issue, but an PHP or server stack configuration issue.
You enabled the Sybase Extension in your php.ini: php_sybase_ct.dll.
This DLL requires another DLL to support Sybase, the libsybcs.dll.
But this file is missing on your system.
When you want to work with Sybase, install it correctly, then the DLL is present. Set the folder where the Sybase DLL resides to the ENV path or drop the DLLs into PHPs ext folder.
When you don't need Sybase, disable the PHP extension php_sybase_ct.
Then restart PHP and retry the Composer installation.

Compatibility Mode error when installing Visual Studio SDK (vssdk)

Whenever I try to install the Visual Studio SDK I get the following error:
Windows Program Compatibility mode is on. Turn it off and then try Setup again.
I have checked and Compatibility mode is not turned on. From what I've read, renaming the installer to vssdk_full.exe should help. That hasn't had any impact.
I got the installer from Microsoft's website.
What do I need to do to get this to install?
Are you installing on Windows 10? If so, then I have the same problem and it seems as though the current SDK setup is checking the Windows version and 10 isn't currently supported. See https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/77c61be0-1303-4040-a587-62843d321159/visual-studio-2013-sdk?forum=WinPreview2014General for more info
I have managed to get it to install on windows 10, download the sdk, it will download vssdk_full.exe, run this with /layout path which will extract the actual setup file.
Then set compatibility on the new file to win 8 and it will install just fine.
You might not need to do the/layout thing but that is what I did.

I had the same problem. I downloaded .iso file with install package form the internet. Then I mounted it using PowerISO and tried to start it from virtual CD drive. It ended up in the same message as above.
I looked it up and thought that in Properties of .exe install file, it's enough to uncheck some boxes compability section. But nothing was checked.
Soon afterwards I unzipped the package to a temporary directory with PowerISO and installed Visual from there. Worked without problems.
I had this problem, I renamed the instalation file to "vssdk_full.exe" and it installed without problems.

PHP.ini Settings Are Ignored By PHP5.3.5 Running With Windows 7 And Apache 2.2.15

I did an install of PHP5.3.5 on Windows 7 Home Premium using the MSI installer download. I got it to overwrite a previous version of PHP5 in C:\php5\
When first testing it, the server failed to start. I fixed this by adding the path to PHP in the Apache2.2 httpd file where the installer had inserted 2 lines of coded pointing to the ini file directory and the PHP DLL but had left out the directory path. After doing this, the server starts ok and I can run phpinfo to view the PHP settings in my web browser on local host.
In the phpinfo it states that the loaded configuration file is C:\php5\php.ini as expected. But if I make any changes to the settings, and reboot the server, none of the changes are reflected in phpinfo. Yes, I do refresh the browser window.
If I rename the php.ini to something else to make it invisible phpinfo then correctly identifies that there is no php.ini file loaded.
So the settings in php.ini are being ignored and some default settings are being used (but I have no idea where these are derived from). As far as I can tell, there are no other php.ini files on my computer.
In phpinfo it states that the Configuration File (php.ini) Path is C:\Windows but this is the same as on a Windows XP computer that I work on. And in the windows folder I don't see any php.ini file.
In the windows registry, there is no mention of PHP5, and the PATH environment variable starts with C:\php5\;
So hopefully someone can suggest how I can get PHP5 to take notice of the C:\php5\php.ini settings. :)
You may have more than one php.ini file. If you do, and you don't realize that you do, you will be slowly driven insane [I speak from experience].
So, have you upgraded from a previous version of php to your current version? If so, delete all previous version php.ini files. Check your environment and system variable paths. Eliminate any references to previous versions.
You say youp're running Apache, but is MSII also running, or did you turn it off?
You may have to go into registry ( I no longer use MS OS so I don't know what or how VISTA or Sys7 implement Registry. I used XP when I had this problem and I had to manually eliminate Registry entries for previous versions of PHP.
Lots a luck!
