Adding spring integration is causing conflict in Spring boot - spring-boot

I have following maven

When I add spring integration dependency

i am getting following error:

Maven Build Fails when "spring-boot-starter-web-services" starter is used with 2.1.13.RELEASE of Spring Boot Version

I am not able to build spring boot application when spring web service starter is used with 2.1.13.RELEASE version of spring boot. This is coming due to spring-ws-core:jar:3.0.8.RELEASE.
Exception while building application : It comes during default test case execution .

Although there are many ways to solve the issue, the best option is :-
Use a newer version of spring-boot-starter-parent
e.g.
<parent>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
<version>2.3.3.RELEASE</version>
</parent>
issue solved.

Customize Dependency Versions in Spring boot

I want to use Quartz 2 dependency with spring 1.5.2.RELEASE
There I want to override the parent spring pom dependency for the quartz dependency only.
I tried to do this :

spring cloud and spring boot compatibility issue in pom.xml

I'm getting this error when I'm trying to run my application
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:

I hope this issue was related to spring cloud and spring boot version compatibility issue. Can someone please help me to resolve it?

Where possible, just use the latest versions to fix version issues.
Changing 1.4.2.RELEASE to 2.0.1.RELEASE works.

Ideally you should remove the version completely, let Spring Boot take care of it.

I tend to use dependency versions provided by Spring Cloud project in my dependencyManagement section: http://projects.spring.io/spring-cloud/
This way I don't have to manually put dependency versions and avoid problems like you just presented. Selecting dependency versions manually quickly becomes a huge pain and this approach uses versions that are tested by the community.
In case of Spring Cloud, Finchley release train works with Spring Boot 2.

I would like to create a Spring boot Web application with H2 database and JPA support. But STS throws an error at pom.xml overview :

Actually your ide not getting the dependency, you should clean build again and if still showing error then simply remove that dependencies from your local repository (I. e. ./.m2 if using maven) and clean build your project again then all required dependencies will be downloaded I your local.
Command mvn clean compile package install

How to create spring boot cloud maven based application where parent project is not org.springframework.cloud

I want to create spring cloud project where parent project is my common project and all other modules depends on this custom parent project and not on "org.springframework.cloud" as parent project .
I do not want to add this in my parent pom
