Subject Tree in Dynamics Portal - dynamics-crm

I have a subject tree in the customer-service application. And we use that on the Create Case form on self-service portal.
We have a first field "Subject" and second one "Sub-subjects", on the portal they both display the same content.
The need is to select first the sub-subject, and should automatically get the parent (the subject)
Thanks you very much!

Found a solution:
I followed this tuto: Custom lookup filtering
To resume, I created a web template that will retrieve my Subjects, then I used the $getJSON to read the web template result.

How to populate look up field based on text field - Dynamics 365

I am trying to populate contact field (Potential Customer) based on text field (Email Address) set. To bear in mind, it should be unique based on the customer record.
Condition is if Email address field is set, look up field (Potential Customer) value should be fetched based on the Email address field.
Wherever you are trying to fill that contact lookup from (plugin, form script, console job, web app, ETL, MS Flow, etc), you have to fetch the contact by filtering the email value and set it in lookup entity reference.
You can use web api or fetchxml to achieve that. Here is how it should look like.
https://crmdev.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.0/contacts?$select=fullname&$filter=emailaddress1 eq 'test#gmail.com'
C# example
Javascript example
Once you fetch the lookup field based on email address using web api which is suggested by Arun. To set lookup field on form using javascript see below article.

Assigned to field in Case Table- Servicenow

In Case Form,Based on the group selected in Assignment group field ,the assigned to field is listing some users which belongs to it in CRM UI.
Now I want to retrieve the same users using normal REST API. Please suggest REST API to list the users based on a group.
Users linked to groups is stored in table sys_user_grmember. In the example I search for all Users in Group named "Application Development".
GET https://YOURINSTANCE.service-now.com/api/now/table/sys_user_grmember?sysparm_query=%22groupSTARTSWITHApplication%20Development%22&sysparm_limit=10
You can easily test the REST Api with the rest api explorer from SNOW: https://YOURINSTANCE.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=%2F$restapi.do
Can you give more info on the exact requirement, so i can be more precise?
As far as I know, you can create a rest message to get the users inside a group and show the list wherever you want.
This would require three things from your side.
a) Creating a rest message in Snow.
b) Creating a script includes calling the rest message.
c) A client script or trigger which initiates the rest call using client script.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Adding multiple entities to one main form

I am in the process of modifying forms to account for V9 of Dynamics which is being rolled out currently.
Our environment is using Dialogs but these are being deprecated with V9 which means we have to prepare the forms to be used instead of these Dialogs.
Due to how fragmented our solution is the data is all over the place in different entities and can all be written too at different times.
Is it possible to have multiple entities/records on the same form which are all editable? This way I can run rules to hide and show as people edit specific fields.
From what I can identify, there is no "true" way to achieve this. However, if there are entities which are linked via a relationship within the solution, it is possible to add the "Party List" type field to the form and this will act as the link between the two entities. When you go to search for an existing record within the related entity, there is a new button which allows you too create a new record of that entity which directly associated with the form you were working on initially.
We do have editable subgrids. Add the subgrids of related entities & allow users to edit the related records in main record form at one shot.

Can we prepopulate the webform fields with values in webforms for marketers?

We have a requirement to pre-populate the Contact Form with user information on load if the user is a logged in user. So that, user need not fill his information using the webform.
Is there any way to do this using webforms for marketers?
Data is coming from a service api in json format. Need to figure out a way to bind it to fields either in server side or in client side.
Sitecore Version 7.1 140117 WFFM Version "Web Forms for Marketers
2.4.0 rev. 140117"
Have a look at Sitecore - Webforms For Marketers Form - Use ReadQueryString Option. Basically, there is a checkbox, ReadQueryString, in presentation details that gives you the option to fill in the default values from the query string. If checked, you use the item names of the fields (not the display name or title) as keys and the values you want to set the fields to as the values in key-value pair in the querystring.
Create a new rule based on use default value from user profile [fieldname] field and amend it to pick up the value from your service API.
This will be your best way and simplest option in my opinion.
I use this same approach prepopulating ucommerce data from its API.
Create custom field and then you can pre-populate values as per your need.
Like if you want to populate any value in Single line text field the create custom field for this and then reflect forms dll and copy code then update code as per your need.

how to create an ajax-driven auto-complete field in a sonata admin form in symfony?

I have a form generated with the sonata admin bundle. I want to enable a live search tip for my user on an input field. The proposition should come from a category table in the DB.
For example, if I have a field called company, when a user writes "a", I should suggest all companies whose name contains "a".
Use JQuery Autocomplete. On server side create controller action that will return suggestions through AJAX.
See example - http://jqueryui.com/autocomplete/#remote-jsonp
