Missing CASE and value you'd want to return in case of ELSE, superfluous & invalid TO_NUMBER function calls. Maybe you wanted something like this:

The predicate of a CASE expression has to be a single value, not another expression. If I read your WHERE clause correctly, you ought to be able to rephrase your query as follows:

(:p_flag <> 'Y' AND t.call_destination LIKE call_destination);

I have highlighted a LIKE comparison you are making which does not seem to make sense because it would always return true.
How do I return data out of IF statements? I have a IF statement which is meant to return a different result dependent of the result of that statement.
IF :Value = 1 THEN
SELECT Name FROM TABLE_A
ELSEIF :Value = 2 THEN
SELECT Name FROM TABLE_B
ELSEIF :Value = 3 THEN
SELECT Name FROM TABLE_C
but this doesn't work. It expects an INTO statement in those selects. I suspect this is because Oracle can't return out of a block?
Is there a quicker way to return those select statements without creating table variables to store the data or messing around with functions?
You can do this by plain SQL:
SELECT

If you want more than one result in your cases, then you may opt to an intelligent UNION:
SELECT t1_Col_1, t1_Col_2,'&VALUE' from TABLE_1

UNION ALL
SELECT t2_Col_1, t2_Col_2,'&VALUE' from TABLE_2
WHERE '&VALUE' = '2'
In this solution, types and number of tx_Coln must be the same.

I think that you swapped commands - after when matched you should put update statement and after not matched - insert.
Similar example worked for me, but after swapping statements I got ORA-00905 missing keyword. So correct version is:
merge into t1
using (select * from t2) t2 on (t1.id = t2.id)
when matched then update set t1.name = t2.name
when not matched then insert (id, name) values (t2.id, t2.name)

You don't need to do this in PL/SQL; it can be done in a single UPDATE statement by using a CASE expression:
update tablea
set level = case when salary > 100 and years > 0 then 1
when salary > 200 and years > 1 then 2
else 0
end
It's worth noting that "level" is a reserved word (it's a psuedocolumn used for Oracle's hierarchical queries) and can cause problems if you use it. I'd choose something else if possible.

In the above query ORA-38104:Column referenced in ON clause cannot be updated.
I have been sitting for hours to resolve this.
I have identified that the problem is the field in_correct.
This field "in_correct" cannot be put in both ON clause and also after SET. But in order satisfy my criteria,I have no option.
