I am creating a xamarin forms app, where i need to implement that if user takes screenshot then, a watermark should appear on that screenshot.
The watermark should appear only on screenshot not in whole app.
If it is possible then please help me.
Any advice or suggestion will be great help for me.
Thank You.
While preventing screenshots is more or less possible on Android (https://stackoverflow.com/a/31406316/16607977) there's no API to detect or manipulate the screenshot. Here's a description of a workaround to detecting screenshots, which boils down to watching the filesystem for new files with "screenshot" in their path - you might try to access and manipulate this file then. If the user does not give you permissions, this won't work.
For iPhone, you might also detect the screen capture (https://stackoverflow.com/a/18158483/16607977), somehow identify the file and add the watermark. I doubt this will be easy without the user's permission.

When we select a captcha image, it fading away and a fresh new image is getting replaced, as shown in below screenshot. Same for all images in that captcha. For over a year we had no problem, but only since 2 days we are seeing this(no change is done in the page).
Additionally, this problem occurs intermittently irrespective of browsers, OS, or Browser Incognito mode.
We tried changing security level at Google Developer Console to low, medium and full but of no use. If you have any clue or handled this before, please let me know.
Note: I see this problem for my work website, personal website, as well on Quora Signup page also!(may have to keep refreshing for a while to see the problem).
This is expected behaviour, its just a different type of recaptcha challenge. You select all storefronts or whatever it tells you too and then it will fade out and load a new image. You have to repeat and click the matching images until there are no more storefront images left to select, then verify.
This is completely confusing for users. If you do it once and it behaves a certain way and then the next time images fade out it seems like an error. This is not an answer but hopefully if enough people lodge an issue they can make a more sensible solution.
I had the same problem and it was very annoying. At first i thought my captcha is bugged out.
The solution: Keep pressing the images they ask you to click on (for example "select all images with dogs")
As soon as there are no more pictures with "dogs" press the submit button and it should give you a positive response.
hope it helped :)
i faced the same issue.
Its not a bug as many guys claim.
But first of all you have to disable your ad blocker, if you are using any.
When recaptcha i.e. asks for chosing a bus, select a bus until there is no bus anymore.
Then verify... this worked for me. i hope for you as well
I went through many links and research for this behavior but as we all know grecaptcha is one type of service that protects your website from spam and abuse. Every time our CAPTCHAs are solved, that human effort helps digitize text, annotate images, and build machine learning datasets. This in turn helps preserve books, improve maps, and solve hard AI problems.
Google Recaptcha
So this is basic thing which everybody knows who are using grecaptcha.
But your question is appreciable but this behavior is not related to security settings or OS or Browsers or anything else.
(You will get rid of this behavior only when they change their behavior or launch new Captcha. :)
Working with 16:9 screens, I always have an empty space to my right in Forms Designer.
On the other hand, this Component Tray is always overlapping the forms.
Is there a way to undock or move it to fill that wasted space?
I haven't found any other questions regarding this.
Thank you in advance and please excuse my bad english.
Edited: obviously I know I can drag its edge to fold the thing down.
Finally I created my own Add-In to dock that ComponentTray to the right as well as sorting its components alphabetically.
If you, like me, want to use your wide screen in all its glory, please post a comment below and gladly I'll give you all details.
After the testing phase, I'll upload the thing to VS Gallery.
EDIT: Here's the link to the VS extension. Feel free to use and enjoy it.

I'll start off by saying I am an absolute beginner. I've been following a very good tutorial on YouTube and reading a few books. So far, I have a working app which consists of a splash screen, load up music and then a menu with 6 buttons. I have got these six buttons opening up a new view. I have created a new Java class and a new layout.xml for each new view. Is this right? Basically, all I want to know is how to make an efficient app which allows me to use my 6 buttons to take me to another set of buttons as a sub-menu and then inside those buttons I want to display the information using text and videos and audio. It's a tutorial app. Once I know how to do this then I should be able to continue developing within the app. Any help or ideas please? Since my app is already so large, I'm guessing I've done something wrong, but as I say, the app is working at least.
I had a similar problem. My app was 40MB. I found out my music files were too big. I was using wav files. When I converted them to ogg files, my app went down to 14MB.
This website was useful: http://media.io
The buttons and extra activities probably don't take up that much space. I'm guessing it's the music and maybe any images that you have.
I've had this app on app store with no problem until iphone 4 came out.
My home page has an image covering the whole screen.
UIImageView added in interface builder, and image path added in interface builder.
In all phones this image shows up; however, the image does not show up in any iphone 4, and instead the user sees a blank screen like the following:
Anybody knows what's causing this? thanks
.
I only have 1 set of images with
normal resolution
This problem only happens to one of
the images in my application which is
the background for my home page
the graphic file should not be
corrupted because the exact same
image works for all other iphones and
itouches
my image is a jpg file
image size is 480x270, which in
interface builder i make it 563x330 to display only a part of it
I have no outlet to this uiimageview
so it cannot be changed in code
With devices with the new retina display, pixel sizes are different and you have to check for the following, in particular:
Do you provide two alternatives of the image, one at old resolution, one at double resolution (named myimage.png and myimage#2x.png)
If not, does your image scale up well in size with CoreGraphics's algorithms (there are some pathological cases, though you'd have to be quite unlucky)?
Have you checked what happens (at both resolutions) when your UIImageView size changes?
Is it just one image, or all?
Is your graphics file corrupted?
It's hard to tell if it's any of these points, or something else, because you provide so damn little detail, that I stick to generic things. Comment below (or edit your question) if you need more help.
I've got two things to add to FXs thorough answer:
Considering the information you added, I would take a look at your code for setting up that UIImageView. Perhaps you use some sort of detection code or something which wasn't implemented correctly.
Would you mind sharing some code snippets?
According to Apple's documentation, you don't need to provide the ".png" extension as of iOS 4. Perhaps that is causing the problem.
Again, code snippets would help here. Specifically where you deal with loading up your image file.
EDIT:
Try re-saving the image and replacing it. I've occasionally corrupted files in Photoshop. This has to do with file extensions and how Mac OS ignores them, but Photoshop still uses them.
Also, it could have to do with where the image is in your XCode project. Check what Group it is in. Make sure everything is in place and then Clean and Rebuild. Remove the app from the iPhone4 (reboot) and try reinstalling.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
If this was my code, I'd write a tiny app just to display the image in question. If it still fails it would be easier to get help debugging the problem.
I have a web app I'm building in Dashcode, currently every thing is working as advertised. I'm using the browser template and was able to modify it a bit, got the xml working to connect images and their description. Now I want to add a simple OnClick event that sends the image to fullscreen but I can't find any documentation for that. I'm pretty sure this is easily done so I'm missing something here? Any help greatly appreciated.
Tom
Taking over the screen is a bit complicated (if your talking about a full screen experience like youtube), but full screen in the browser window is defiantly possible. The simplest method is to have the click event open a link to the image location. This would load the image in full resolution in the browser window. A more elegant approach would be to load the image url into the source of a image dashcode object. and have that objects visibility only appear overs the whole web app when the Oncick event occurs. If you are talking about a built in function in dashcode to achieve a full screen/browser image, your out of luck.
